I like the 2010 one more. I think the size is a big flaw for the 2016 one. Overall the detailing and structure are better for the 2016 one though, plus I like the new wheels more. In terms of minifigures I like both sets because I loved the clone wars and episode 3. Still I like the 2005 one the most of all 3 versions. The wheels on that set were awesome and the minifigures were very cool. That is one of my favorite star wars sets of all time.

BrickWizard59 2016 sucks for no area for transport clone troopers because I like the two others one you can just put a plate then you can just put troops in
I’m torn because I have owned the 2010 version, but it broke, and I got the new one and they’re both great
There is so much hate and backlash from LEGO fans towards the newer sets, mostly because of some size, but I think it is amazing. I like the newer one better because it is Ep3 based, rather than Clone Wars TV Show (though the show is pretty good), and the most mini figs are just better quality. The price for the older one is also very high by now, whilst the new one is fairly priced. If you take away the nostalgic factor, this is is awesome and wins 10/10, as size doesn’t always matter.
While I do like the older one better I still love the new one, great design and like you said great minifigs 👍

For this set size does actually matter. Its too small and ends up looking like a bootleg toy when scaled with the minifigs. They should've continued to expand the size of these sets since they keep redoing them

Nice I got the 2016 one for 80 dollars yesterday for the Black Friday event sale and I love it I love the figs and the turbo tank too it has such great detail

The 2010 one is minifig scale because it's an HAVW-A5 which is much smaller than an HAVW-A6 (seen in ep.3) you can see the 2010 variant in the clone wars beside 2 AT-TES and it is basically the same size as them if not a bit bigger.
I wish I could get the 8098 version but I guess the 75151 version will do

Why are lego sets getting smaller? Even the newer MTT and Sandcrawler took a size drop

I was gonna get the 2010 turbo tank but it was to expensive so i had to buy the one from 2016 but the 2016 is also pretty good for my moc
Hey DUB's. I have the 2010 set still sealed and I hope to pick up the new set. Its a fact that sets get smaller each time they remake them so that aside these are both great sets. Big thumbs up bruv.

i am thinking about buying one of these sets (due to money constraints), your video helped greatly but the 2016 turbo tank i am looking to purchase doesn't come with any of the new mini figures, would you still recommend getting the new one or should i get the 2010 one?
I do like the 2010 one best but it really comes down to what you can afford, the new one without figs should be a lot cheaper then the 2010 one and it is a great set.
Thanks for the advise and i have managed to find the 2010 one for just £50 on ebay with all the parts and all the mini figures (what a deal)! as such i have opted for the 2010 turbo tank instead of the 2016 variation! :D
I think the 2010 is best from all turbo tanks because it can be easy modified and have brillant handling

Bricks and games wow nice I got mine for 80 USD at target:)I got 0.09 cents per piece since it comes with 900 and it costs like 110$ so it’s like 0.11-0.12 per piece which is a little overpriced since 0.10 cents per piece is the regular. I feel like I got a bargain

even the 2010 one is a bit too small for canon size, which makes it more accurate than the 2016 one

Honestly I just can’t take the new one seriously. Admittedly it is a fairly good looking design, but when I look at it all I can see is how tiny it is. For a vehicle that is supposed to be a massive tank, the new one just looks so scaled down and childish that I can’t make myself like it
so annoying, I love the minifigs for the new one as i HATE clone wars minifigs, but the 2010 set overall just looks so much better
