- Fans of “Live PD” can rejoice … the popular TV show, which followed police officers around on their patrol beats live, is returning to television under a new name and on a new network. NewsNation’s Dan Abrams, who hosted “Live PD” during its run on A&E, announced Wednesday that he will be hosting and executive producing a new version of the show, “On Patrol: Live,” on Reelz.

Never should’ve been canceled to begin with. Criminals need to be exposed whether people like it or not. I hope “Cops” make a come back too! 😬 👍🏼

COPS can be viewed on Fox Network. The one where you have to pay. It is not very good. Even Live PD was edited. You didn't see what REALLY goes on.
I do like the idea of having citizen ride a longs. I was one, once. Riding along gave me the incentive, to become one of the first female LEOs, in a Southern county.

Live PD was the only decent thing to watch on TV. Glad it is returning. I always thought the best thing was it showed transparency in Law Enforcement. There were times I thought the cops were overbearing, but it was all transparent for you to see. Can’t wait for On Patrol Nation!

I hope we can get the New Show in Canada!! You had a lot of Canadian fans!! Sgt. Leverett K9 Flex and his (Sgt. Leverett) Mom became a huge Influence on my Sons decision to become a K9 Officer as soon as he is Old enough and he still has that dream. Even though we are in Canada we became friends.. and they still support my son and his dream. All because of Live PD! Happy your coming back and don’t care what you call the Show… it’s important for the public to see what Law Enforcement does Day In and Day Out.. All the things they go through. I’ll never forget when Mastriani was in that car chase & After the guy crashed his vehicle they found a small child in that vehicle!! Seeing the emotion on all the Officers showed a side so many people need to be aware of!!

Ditto on Mastriani with that high speed chase. He was really upset about that. I remember a woman officer forget her name but same happened. She was so heated and baffled at the same time. They are totally right to feel that way. I hope at the least can catch on YT.
I was Live PD is back with a new name. But to be honest, I wanna be happy, but I’m actually bittersweet about it, the new network where we us Canadians won’t be able to get. A&E shouldn’t have killed the show and as a Canadian viewer, how will we see the new show now?

The most important part of the show is community policing. Sherrif
Fletcher is not only doings traffic stops and take-downs. He shows up the human side. He's not in it for the ratings. He's building a community, a new community relationship.

I’m SO excited!!! I can’t wait!!! The show never should’ve been pulled in the first place & I’m SO happy y’all went to a different network. Hopefully Reelz believes in the show & the people participating in it & will stand behind y’all like a network should!! We need this show now more than ever. People need to see & understand what these officers go through on a daily basis. There’s needs to be a whole lot more understanding & kindness in our crazy world today!!! This show was more then just watching some cops! It felt very much like a family, not in a cheesy way though! We had very intense moments as well as slow and moving moments with cops and the citizens! It was beautiful, it made me proud of having police in are country do there job with dignity!

I'm very glad this show will be back. I cannot wait. Dan got me through my college years back in the 2002--2006 era. I would record his show EVERY day on VHS!!! 🤣 And then watch it when I got home. I told my roommate never to touch or record over the tape. Thanks Dan!! I might have a recording of your battles with Yale Galanter. 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

I cannot wait. I loved the show and was absolutely livid at the abrupt and unfair way it was cancelled. Live pd showed the good and bad and everyday life of police rather than focus on the negative like our media does. Police tend to get demonized and have only the negative showcased by the news.

it's to bad it's not on the old channel I think now most people don't have the new channel so we are going to have to pay more to the cable companies and that's not fair for us we loved live PD just the way it was and just because people were complaining it was scrapped I really hope you guys post it the next day on RUclips so the people who can't afford to pay more for channel can watch it on RUclips please do that for people like me and others I beg you to help us who will love watching your new show thank you for keeping the show living on it was my favorite show

About dam time!!! I never missed Live PD. My kids and I loved watching people get pulled over and we would guess if the driver had is license, if tags were registered or if they had drugs in the car. Most of the time it was all three. Can't wait to watch the new show.
