I’m so happy he was able to find relief. I love the way you listened to him and his needs when he was explaining to you how his body wants to move instead of saying “I’m the doctor do as I say”. That’s what you call a true doctor!
Exactly! .. I was thinking the same thing. Every other doctor says those exact words too. Even the patient told him that a doctor said he was healthy like he don't see why there's an issue and he said he told him "If nothings wrong why am I feeling like this?".. I also been to many different chiropractors and they just rush you out they don't even listen to you or try to understand you. Dr Joseph is clearly a miracle worker. God bless you
This is what you call a patients doctor. He literally lets the patient express exactly what is wrong with him and follows the patient step by step on how to help him. Applaud Sir.
Yes it is emotional to watch, know how it feels when your stuck with a spine twisted to the point were you think there is no way to fix it, and the pain.... so happy for him, hope he got even better.
Hopefully the people suffering from chronic pain see this and don't think this will stop their pain. What helped this guy was belief a sham treatment would fix everything. Chronic pain has a massively psychological component and he just needed to believe he could get better.

Yes, definitely. Chronic illness or pain of any kind has a sort of cumulative effect that is hard to describe. But once it is healed OMG, you really appreciate it.
Yup I just had a baby and I got a kidney stone that had to be removed by procedure because of how big it was. But hospital kept pushing it back. I was in pain for MONTHS while working full time and still coming home to my baby. Sucked it up till my sons 1st bday party and I quit the next day I was MISERABLE 😭 didn’t get surgery till 2 months after that 🥲
I was no where near this pain. But last February I had a lower back issue for months. There was a day when I couldnt take it any more. I couldn’t sit, and no amount of self adjustments or relief was working. I almost went to a ddoctor, but decided to go to the chiropractor that morning. After 15 min, he adjusted my back and I fully believed he did some voodoo magic or something, because the relief was immediate and my energy all came back in about a few hrs.
He talks when he's nervous and he also apologized for thinking he was being difficult even though he was the one dealing with all the pain. He's a truly kind soul, he WILL recover. ❤️

I absolutely agree with you. His patience and openness is top notch and I watch a lot of chiropractic videos. Well-done, this session was so complete and satisfying

He seemed to be very scared because of his pain and very sensitive to any movement. Your calm and professional character gave him a trustworthy, reliable feeling and made him calmer and more open minded through the session. That's a bigger part to these adjustments than many people might believe

I've seen this episode 3 or 4 times. I love how the doctor has the patience to really listen to the patient. They both cooperated with each other to achieve success. Again, awesome!
Doc literally saved this guy's life. Real hero. Also, his ability to listen to what the guy thought he needed and translate that into all of the different adjustments was critical. Excellent work!
OMGosh, I'm crying too 😢. That poor man. I cannot imagine living like that. Would be terrible! Thank you for helping him and being so patient with him.
This chiropractor dr. has never dealt with a patient having these symptoms. You can notice he is learning about this condition for the first time. Being a student all over again, not rushing but observing/learning each step of the way with different hypothesis of what is happening to tackle and knockout the situation. Excellent work, good use of experience and patience as well as listening and assessing his patient.
42:05 "You got it." This moment was surreal. There was a moment captured on film of a person's life changing in an indescribable way. This is truly special and I am honored to have been able to see something so powerful for this young man.
I was hoping to find a comment just like yours and I was not disappointed. Your comment perfectly describes what I felt when I saw this video on his Facebook page. I don't think anyone can imagine the pain this man went through, I was so moved after the third Y-Strap pull when he said "you got it dude.", I instantly started crying. It's a shame that this profession is frowned upon by so many "fellow doctors", especially here in Germany.
I immediately thought of Luke 7:15 when Jesus Christ told the dead man to arise. Like you said, that realisation when he knew he could move was everything. I'm so happy for this man, I hope he can find more relief and move further towards living a normal life, and get back to his passion for motorbikes.
Hats off to the patient, he knows his body super well to be able to know what he needed and was able to articulate exactly what he is feeling. Also shows you just how long he's been a prisoner in his body. Amazing team work.
The body knows what the body needs. For doc to actually listen, understand, that is incredible. Glad for him to have some relief for once. He clearly deserves it
Dont mind me over here on a Saturday morning drinking my coffee and bawling my eyes out over this video! Just to see the relief, the life come back in this man. I am so happy for you dude! Great Job Dr Cipriano..you are a one in a million ❤️
I’d imagine having a patient provide precise feedback like this is important. You can tell he knew his body and wasn’t afraid of communicating things with his chiropractor. Very helpful.
I feel like this kind of communication is severely underrated. No matter how much info the provider has prior to an adjustment appointment, telling them what and where exactly you're feeling and how your body wants to react to movements in minute details really helps pinpoint problem areas and gives you a better experience.
Finally, a doctor that listens to the patient, AND follows the PATIENT until the DOCTOR grasps what is actually going on. THEN and ONLY then, can the doctor’s experience and knowledge help the patient. The body tells the mind what it needs...I’ll just leave this here...w/ the GOAT!
@@Coerced well they don’t need an M.D. but they are still definitely doctors. to be a chiropractor, you don’t go through the same education as medical doctors. you have to go through a graduate program SPECIFICALLY for chiropractors and then you graduate with a D.C. I've had plenty of Dr's listen to me. I'm not sure why people fail to recognize when someone is listening.... is it because the answer that is needed is often the answer no one wants to hear? Don't think the treatment had anything to do with it. The patient was guarding and fearful. Good therapists show that they can move without pain but don't attach a sham treatment with it.
@C C I never said there was no difference from the begging to end of the treatment. What I’m saying is the adjustment isn’t the cause of the change. The adjustment really doesn’t do all that much. Temporary range of motion and pin relief at best. This guy was scared to move at the beginning and believed he could at the end. This guys most valuable part of the treatment was the belief instilled on the patient which was probably by accident since this clown uses a Y strap and calls him doctor
@@MrPossum077 yeah, whatever you want to tell yourself man. Actually, since you were clearly there you should tell the patient that the treatment was all just placebo. Lmk what he says👍

Yeah, the problem with physical pain is that no one understands it as oneself, and no one will appreciate the ability to sleep well, let alone work, until one has to do a ritual to just lay down in a fixed position and try to let the body repair itself
This is great medical practice, he was listening and understanding what his patient was needing in real time. I have seen many chiropractors on line and he is one, if not the best one, and a great beard too!
Pain is so relatable. From the over explaining and frustration and feeling crazy and misunderstood. If this guy needs financial help to keep having treatments, can something be started a fund to get donations. And as soon as you can move, get a trainer to make sure your form is on point, and start lifting weights. As heavy as you can tolerate with proper form. Movements (this chiro) and weights! The weights thing is antidotal, but was ultimately the only thing that ever helped. Thanks for sharing

And he pays attention and takes into consideration how the patient is able to move to get to the root of the problem! Like when he allowed him to move in whatever way comfortable and went from there
This doctor has mastered the one element that will take him far: Listening. You can see this near the end of the video his listening, thus additional effort. THIS is the key to his success. When a doctor realizes a person within can sense what is needed, and follows that path, he will have done something very few will ever be able to do.

@vidiveniviciDCLXVI I absolutely agree. My neck was a *bit* of an issue for me (so I thought) but my Thoracic & particularly my Lumbar are an absolute mess, combined with a long Kyphotic curve in my spine. I also have Complex Regional Pain Syndrome in my right foot which is a horrendous chronic pain. My chiropractor identified several areas in my neck that needed adjusting, a few in the Thoracic region, and two *crucial* ones in my Lumbar. As soon as he finished my Lumbar adjustment, I felt like telling him that he’s given me my life back. Having all your vertebrae properly aligned as well as your pelvis can free trapped nerves & allow the correct muscles to fire for any given movement. Unfortunately, some people will only know what we are talking about if they have an accident or injury which ends up severely restricting their movement & function for a *long* time, then suddenly get given their movement back courtesy of spinal adjustments. Just to make it clear to people, the reason that videos like this exist on RUclips is because the patient will be offered a discount on their fees if they agree to be filmed, because this is essentially great advertising for the chiropractor. There is nothing fake or staged about this whatsoever. If anyone reading this has no problems with their neck or their back, *please look after yourselves* because things like tears in a disc or exploded/crushed discs can’t heal. A chiropractor *can* still adjust your spine & help you, but discs are shock absorbers for your vertebrae which do not ever repair themselves, so please be careful with your posture & lifting things! It’s best to admire a chiropractor’s work from afar as opposed to needing to repeatedly visit one yourself (and cheaper, too!)
I’ve been to chiropractors since I was 18 (for 18 years now) and haven’t even had any injuries. I cannot even IMAGINE what kind of pain he’s in. I have type one diabetes and have had it since I was 18 months old so I’ve got long term inflammation but this just looks so painful how he was.
I watched another doctor's video who said very plainly that this is a place to release. We hold our pain in all the time but part of chiropractic care is to let go. With that being said, you gotta trust the process, which I'm not sure he was prepared to do - initially. But dramatic...no. Just scared.

While watching, I could literally feel his emotions and feelings and the immense joy he experienced when he realized he had regained his life! Meanwhile, lately I've been lacking motivation to drag myself to the gym and move my body, and the only discomforts I have are caused by lack of movement itself. I can move, but out of laziness, I don't. I feel ashamed when I realize that what I don't use out of laziness was his impossible dream for years... I don't know when I'll be able to fulfill this resolution, but I'm coming to the USA for a sesion, and if there's a chance, I want to meet the hero of this recording.

Why am i crying 😭!!! That moment he said “you got it!” This doctor took the time and “listen” to his patient to exactly what he needed and his pain !!! Love this
Wow the way he got down on that bed so quick at the end had me crying for him! This is amazing! Best chiropractor video I’ve seen EVER! Thanks for listening to him and taking your time with him!
The Euphoria this man gets from that last adjustment shows just how meaningful it is to him. You can see on the table and the "you got it" under his breath shows he instantly knew whatever was twisted just got released and he loves you for it
I love that you really listened to the patient. You let him take the lead in describing how he knew his body worked. This guy's gone through so many treatment, he knows exactly how to express what he is feeling in his body and how things wanna move. I love that you didn't just do a bunch of painful cracks on him and give the guy more trauma that he clearly has had with previous doctors. It breaks my heart the poor guy is in so much pain he really believes he might die when you do the Y strap and even prays, that brought me to tears. I really hope this guy can get long lasting pain relief fro the rest of his life. He seems so nice. Awesome job doc!

This Dr. Is so patient and a good listener. Learning and understanding. This is high drama for anyone who is dealing with pain and knows what 5 minutes relief feels like.
I like that Dr. Cipriano doesn’t act like he knows his patient more than they do themselves. He just lets them work it out and occasionally assists them, then once they’ve run their course, he takes over. This seems like such a good strategy to be honest. It makes the doctor-patient bond very strong and, as we can see, works very well for the actual healing process. In a way, he’s like a chiropractor-therapist just because of how great of a guy he is. Keep up the good work Doctor!
Hearing his story, watching the beginning movement and seeing the end results and how happy he is can make a grown man cry. We need dr’s like him in every state
Speaking as someone who’s back “goes out “ that pain and spasm is real. The back locks up and any little movement the wrong way leaves you in a world of hurt. So I can empathize with this guy in my own way. And when you finally get relief, it’s one of the greatest feelings
I hear you. Same here. Mine goes out on average about 2x/year. Daily stretching, traction, and core training definitely helps to keep the spasms away, or at least lessens their intensity when they do happen.
Sometime while walking I just have the worst back pain and I literally can walk and I have to lay or sit down some where do you know what that could be? I’m 14 btw
Yep. This is what happens to me as well when my back goes out. I had a massive spasm when trying to get dressed, fell hard on the floor, and injured my back again.
His body has been trying to communicate for a long time..he listened to it and..someone else listened. We humans are bad for not listening to our bodies. I'm glad you have been able to have the relief. ❤️
I’m so happy for this guy! Your patience with him, listening carefully to his descriptions of his issues, made all the difference in the world. This is a case of him meeting the right doctor at the right time and place. It was a phenomenal display of your skill and knowledge!
I could hear any other doctor sending this guy away the second he started explaining that this feels like it should move this way and then i go that way, but you LISTENED! that was like and adjustment in itself, and I completely understood what he meant
I’m so happy he was able to find relief. I love the way you listened to him and his needs when he was explaining to you how his body wants to move instead of saying “I’m the doctor do as I say”. That’s what you call a true doctor!
🙌🏻 exactly! He knows his own body and Joseph listened. Even when he was in so much pain he gave him time and let him guide the way
@@carerofgoblins 👍🏻✝️
Exactly!

Hopefully the people suffering from chronic pain see this and don't think this will stop their pain. What helped this guy was belief a sham treatment would fix everything. Chronic pain has a massively psychological component and he just needed to believe he could get better.

2 [5†]He was in the beginning with God.
3 [6†]All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
4 [7†]In Him was life, and [8†]the life was the light of men.
5 And [9†]the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

6 There was a [10†]man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 This man came for a [11†]witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might [12†]believe.
8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that [13†]Light.
9 [14†]That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and [15†]the world did not know Him.
11 [16†]He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.
12 But [17†]as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

15 [24†]John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, [25†]‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, [26†]for He was before me.’ ”
16 And of His [27†]fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.
17 For [28†]the law was given through Moses, but [29†]grace and [30†]truth came through Jesus Christ.

The chiropractor listened to his patient. That's half the battle. The patient knows his limitations and the chiropractor can work with the patient. Brilliant.
Yup, that's how it's done, you love to see it.
Well said!
This is what happens when confidence in your training meets compassion and patience. Best treatment video you've ever posted! I felt every frustration melt away for this guy.

I wanna watch him show his parents. Walk into that door so proud, and feeling so good. 😭🥰 he advocated for himself and Dr. Cip was patient and went with everything he said. This was amazing
This is truly life changing. The pain he was in. The fear of more pain. "I don't wanna die" you were there with him the whole way and you listened. You let him take the lead. This was a wonderful example of how humanity should work.
Can't imagine the years of him enduring all those difficulties and pain. I'm closing my eyes every time they try to pop or crack something. I cried the whole time watching this. The relief that he had at the end was indeed life-changing. I hope there will be a video of his next visit. Thank you so much Doc for helping this man get his life back.
Made me cry to see the relief this man felt and to see Joseph care so much along with him. Amazing!
When the patient said "I don't want to die", my heart went out to him. He said at the beginning that his pain and struggles were so bad that he had considered ending his life. In that moment when he said he didn't want to die, it was so touching how he knew that he could finally be helped and relieved from his tortuous existance. ❤️
You're such a lovely human being ☺😊❤
Okay
Exactly
No one ever wants to die. All suicidal people just want the pain to stop. That's all. It's sad we have been made to feel that's our only option
This was a different kind of adjustment. This was "you need to help me, but you also need to help me safely help myself how I need to" and it was beautiful. This is holistic care.
I really love that he really LISTENS to what the patient is telling him and adjusts his next move based on it. This man has a hand of God on him, bless him and to everyone he helps/treats in the future.
Its faje video. Great acting tho

Anyone who has ever suffered with back pain can understand the emotion of finally getting some relief. The pain colors one's whole world gray. It is ever present and completely debilitating. I'm so happy for this guy to finally find a path back to health.

Yes.
I have had 2 bulging disks at the bottom of my back that sit on nerves that run down legs, I really felt this guy’s emotions, my back pain has brought me to tears before
@@joejappy2042 I have two bulging disks as well. I've found tremendous relief from taking Topamax. It makes your brain so your body doesn't recognize nerve pain. Best of luck!
Really?? I’ll look in to it!! Thank you!!
Doc was so very patient and respectful of this young man's self awareness. Allowing him to work through both his pains and anxieties to a point of trust.
Anyone who thinks he's being over dramtic, you've got no idea how much pain you can be in from these kind of issues.
Yeah it looks silly. But I had a ruptured disc in my back, and the pain was out of this world. I'd rather die than go through that again.
Just watching him get down on the bed told me everything about his struggle
I’ve been to chiropractors since I was 18 (for 18 years now) and haven’t even had any injuries. I cannot even IMAGINE what kind of pain he’s in.
I have type one diabetes and have had it since I was 18 months old so I’ve got long term inflammation but this just looks so painful how he was.
I watched another doctor's video who said very plainly that this is a place to release. We hold our pain in all the time but part of chiropractic care is to let go. With that being said, you gotta trust the process, which I'm not sure he was prepared to do - initially. But dramatic...no. Just scared.
This chiropractor is truly a god sent. The patience this man has is so calming and reassuring. ❤
This recording LITERALLY changed my life in the span of 46 minutes... It completely shifted my perspective, and I' ashamed at how much I underestimated the gift of having a healthy body.

I hear you. Same here. Mine goes out on average about 2x/year. Daily stretching, traction, and core training definitely helps to keep the spasms away, or at least lessens their intensity when they do happen.
