I just lost my momma, even though God gave her 92 years of a healthy life my heart is shattered. She was my angel my best friend, we’ve always been close but when we lost my dad suddenly to a heart attack 33 years ago we became even closer. She needed me and I needed her both for comfort, she never remarried didn’t even date another man. I’m still struggling with depression with the loss of my mother 3 yrs ago. She was the rock, the glue, the foundation of our family. Without her I am so lost. I have listened to this song several times and it makes me cry and miss her even more. But. Why am I’m being selfish. God gave his son so that we may have eternal life. I’m so sorry for your loss I was raised by my grandparents back in July 2 2003 my grandpa Robert lee Stockard sr passed away when I was seven I know what you are going through I never got to say goodbye to him I cry every day because I miss him so much yesterday I was in surgery and I stopped breathing twice I died on the operating table but the doctor and the nurse brought me back to life but I seen the light for a couple minutes but when I woke up I I saw the nurse and she said that I am very lucky to be alive the doctor needs to do another operation on me soon but I’m scared to get another operation done please pray for me because I don’t want to die

I tragically lost (to sudden death at birth) my twin baby daughters in 1982, also my sister was found dead 6days after her 20th birthday in 1970 when I was 15yrs old & my best friend was tragically killed when we were 10yrs old in 1966. It eases with time but never does it ever leave you. I truly feel for you.

She makes the 8th loved one I've lost in the past 15 months which includes 2 brothers, a niece, her (who was practically a sister since I was 7), an aunt, another very dear friend, my soulmate, and an uncle. It's all so overwhelming. My deepest, most heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to you and everyone here who are also struggling with the pain that our losses have brought. I think the only thing that's kept me hanging on is reminding myself that even if I don't understand the how and why to when God takes our loved ones, He does so in His perfect timing even if we can't grasp why in our human minds. When I heard the news about my father passed away two days after my birthday, I was in shock. I was in denial. I didn't want to believe it because I felt like he was still around. And reality hit when I got to his funeral and this is the song they've picked out for his slideshows. I couldn't hold back the tears, I was torn into pieces because he was my hero in my eyes.

It’s one year today I lost my mum to cancer. My Dad died when I was very small. He was just 40 and died from cancer. hope they’ve met up in heaven .I miss them both so,so much . Not a day passes when I don’t pray to God and beg to be with them again when my time comes. My mum was my best friend,she was beautiful inside and out.I still can’t believe she’s gone and long to hear her voice again.All I can do is carry on with life and try to make them both proud of me. As hard as that is.X💔🌹

You’re so right I lost my dad and when I was losing him a nurse told me that I should be thank full for the 40 years I had with him and she was so right because so many people have lost their kids ,parents , siblings at such young ages I can’t imagine how they were robbed of the years they should’ve had with them! So I accepted and was thankful for the 40 years God gave me with my dad I still miss him like crazy but in reality I was really blessed

I recently lost my gran on the 12th of august, this song was at her funeral, she was my only happiness and I love her so much, I’m a 14 yr old girl that cries atleast every 2 nights for hours, I miss her with all my heart, the last time I seen her was in the hospital at her worst, the nurses at the hospital she was at are so bad, they just let her die. They say time heals all wounds. It's true but it's a long process. I've lost my grandfather, grandmother, my uncle to lung cancer, my mom 30 years ago, and my dad just recently. Also lost my little Peanut boy, a Chihuahua, at age 18. So, there's been some real heartache for me. I wish I could give everyone a hug and a shoulder to cry on. It never gets easier, but you somehow learn to cope with your emotions. I wish everyone well and my deepest condolences to you and yours.
