You can put photos on the bay window sill, if that helps. But I agree, I'd love to use that space for plants or clutter

A build idea, James random pack generator tells your story, where you get it to pick 3 random packs and you have to tell a story with the build. Ex: you get vampires, for rent and cats and dogs. It's a rental property for your vampire and their cat in Oasis spring

The bird feeder and wind chimes from this pack are my favorite (often overlooked) build items.
I completely agree! I love them both, & I feel like they are over looked by so many people.

my favorite part about this was the rug combo in the kid's bedroom, the frog on top of the flower just makes sense!

Also, I have a completely green sim with a completely green house and her roof has froggy eyes 😂 ❤ and she finished the frog collection, obviously.

It's not the first time when Kayla didn't use a foundation because of the garage, but you can make a "driveway" with a roof piece... It's not gonna be usable of course, but it'll look nice
I think she doesn’t use it because then you can’t put a car on there unless you use Tool to angle it, and she doesn’t use it. I was thinking the same when I was watching this video but I think that’s probably the reason. I think she did use it once on one of her legacy builds.
you can also use terrain levels and make a slow incline so it's not hitting foundation by the time it hits the garage door wall.
I actually love this. The colors and patterns work well together. It's giving summertime fun!

Tbh, I've found that it's a general maker thing. Anyone that makes anything can always see the flaws that make them cringe that nobody else can see 😂

I actually liked this one. I did think you were onto something with the gumdrop bushes there at the end but if you can't stand em' I respect that.
Watching your builds are a blessing and a curse because you do so much I'd never think of, but now I notice all the crappy lighting on so many of the lots 😭🤣

Not everything matches in most people’s homes. I have no issues using this pack and making a chaotic, lived-in home rather than an idealized house. There’s so many cute patterns and fun color combinations to explore.
such an underrated packk! some items are really hard to use and incorporate in *normal* builds, but the waterslides are so much fun!!!❤️
i don't really care if things dont match perfectly, and actually love the chaotic "everything is slightly off" look, so this build is super cute to me, love all the colors, and i wouldve definitly used those gumdrop bushes as like, a center piece of "look at this weird funky thing!"

today i learned that i use the things from the backyard pack a lot more than i thought. whenever i think of it i’m, like, “oh i never use the giant shark thing, i never use this pack at all,” but i literally use that little thing of lemons in all of my builds 😭 i always think it’s from the patio pack

this house is so full of LIFE! it's so much fun, i adore the colours, even if they seem a bit mis-matched, somehow they work together perfectly. children would have a blast here, i just love it so much.

Seeing her just casually showing off one of her little black kittens makes me so happy. Never understood the bad luck stigma for them. One of my childhood cats was a black male we found as a tiny baby, the dog was thrilled with finally having a baby of her own. They are now together in heaven, waiting for the female gray tiger kitten to complete the family set.

i want to say that i really enjoy watching you build houses. it makes me get more inspired and have more ideas build houses. Ieven tho i have for now a base game in sims4. i learn some layouts and places where to put some stuff. I'm getting myself a goal to buy more packs little by little and build more fun houses in the sims 4. And maybe I will try other challenges in the game.

btw!! I saw someone have a garage on a foundation but made it work by using the slanted roof as like a driveway, lowering it just enough to be inline with the foundation height to make it smooth against the garage door!

Next time when u want a garage in a house with a platform, use a roof as a ramp and use black shingles if u only have base game (there is probably better swatches for non base game homes but I only have base game and free packs so I don’t know any other good ones lol)

Would love to see you try to use every single swatch of every single item in a pack. Maybe in a row of townhouses? It sounds like hell but in a challenging way 😂
PRO TIP! If you want to have a garage but your house has a foundation, just put a roof in front of it and lover it to the height of the garage. Then just drag the end all the way to the ground and select a swatch that looks like concrete.
You can also do that with the terrain tool, but it takes more time 😂
Ok as someone who knew nothing about the backyard stuff pack, very much enjoyed seeing this build.
Also the floor plan looks amazing for game play. Doesn’t look like a big house but manages to have 3 beds all on the first floor.

I think there is some kind of calendar in the Sims4 basic game but I am very sure that it got sorted into another questionable section.😅❤ Looking forward to another challenge like this. The star wars pack may be a bit harder for Lilsimsie, especially the very modern style, like an alien home. But I'm sure with references she would still do an amazing job❣️👏
