And everything is catalogued in the build series on my channel, with reciepts and plenty of footage. Hope this clears some of it up.

A huge thing people don't understand when they drive a tuned diesel, is what they're driving.... a truck weighing 7500-10000lbs. The things should not be moving that quickly. You know exactly what kind of guy willingly drives a brodozer, and I know for certain anyone reading this will agree. 1:57 tuned and deleted with 1000 torque? Today’s ford 6.7 makes 1200 torque with full emissions from the factory with a warranty. Deleting does nothing for performance anymore. Rolling coal is literally wasting horsepower by dumping useful fuel out the tailpipe. I really hope this trend dies. It’s so antisocial. Also, he said it’s like 11,000 pounds? Yeah, gross fully loaded. Empty, it’s probably closer to 7500 pounds. Wheels and suspension are heavy, but not 3000+ pounds heavy.

In regards to weight, my 04 cummins weights right at 9k pounds and its not even a dually and doesn't have 1000 pounds of wheels and tires on it. Dans truck easily weighs 10k at least.
yes todays 6.7 makes 1200, but the 2015 6.7 (same year as this truck) makes 860. there’s literally 10 years in difference. you’re right, deleting doesn’t make a truck faster. however, emissions makes a truck slower, and usually significantly less reliable. usain bolt is fast. put an extra 50 pounds on him and make him exhale every breath through a straw, and suddenly he’s slow. take it away and he’s back to where he should be.
@@Tanerex10 have you looked at the gross weight, and the max cargo weight? If you subtract max cargo and payload from gross, you get curb weight. I tend to work with newer trucks, and your average 2500 Ram is about 7500-8000 pounds empty
"Deleting does nothing for performance anymore." Not everyone deletes for performance little one. DPF's are still astronomically expensive and problematic still.
Is the truck 11k gross? If so, the truck is actually closer to 7k empty. Gross is fully loaded, curb is empty. There is also a label that says “max payload and cargo cannot exceed” and lists a number. Subtract that from gross, and you get curb.
@@B.V.Luminous I’m a fleet truck tech. Even PGE f350 trucks don’t weigh 10k+ without a boom on it. The f450 boom trucks do but not much more, the gross on those trucks is about 13k so no way this dually here is over 10k I want to see it on a scale.

Deleting does nothing for performance anymore. Rolling coal is literally wasting horsepower by dumping useful fuel out the tailpipe.

In regards to weight, my 04 cummins weights right at 9k pounds and its not even a dually and doesn't have 1000 pounds of wheels and tires on it.

yes todays 6.7 makes 1200, but the 2015 6.7 (same year as this truck) makes 860. there’s literally 10 years in difference. you’re right, deleting doesn’t make a truck faster. however, emissions makes a truck slower, and usually significantly less reliable. usain bolt is fast. put an extra 50 pounds on him and make him exhale every breath through a straw, and suddenly he’s slow. take it away and he’s back to where he should be.
@@Tanerex10 have you looked at the gross weight, and the max cargo weight? If you subtract max cargo and payload from gross, you get curb weight. I tend to work with newer trucks, and your average 2500 Ram is about 7500-8000 pounds empty

Not everyone deletes for performance little one. DPF's are still astronomically expensive and problematic still.
Why does the front bumper look crooked ?
Loved watching the build from start to finish but there’s no way that a tune and deleted LML is making 800. Maybe 600 at the most.

Is the truck 11k gross? If so, the truck is actually closer to 7k empty. Gross is fully loaded, curb is empty. There is also a label that says “max payload and cargo cannot exceed” and lists a number. Subtract that from gross, and you get curb.

@@B.V.Luminous I’m a fleet truck tech. Even PGE f350 trucks don’t weigh 10k+ without a boom on it. The f450 boom trucks do but not much more, the gross on those trucks is about 13k so no way this dually here is over 10k
