An 35mm sound reel is rumoured to exist
Although this is a post Disney/Iwerks "Ozzie," this later film is truly up to the standards of the classic era.
Sick Cylinders (1929) has no sound effects playing as well because is a sound cartoon with sountrack of Koko's Storm (1925)
I believe that the gag where the dog eats the the tire is later reused by Hugh Harman in his days at Warner Bros with “Bosko’s Holiday"
Love the ending!
because of the next cartoon on Arte Cartoon Factory german version not french
This film is from 1928, directed by Harman & Clopton at Universal
This film is from 1929 directed by Hugh Harman and Ben Clopton at Universal
This came the closest to recapturing the "energy" of the Disney shorts.
Original Bert Fiske music of Sick Cylinders (1929) is lost because the music of Along Came a Duck from 1934 is composed by Winston Sharples

3:30 it’s a remake of Neck n Neck
Dog: Bark Bark!Oswald: Nyoh nyoh nyoh nyoh nyoh! Rah Rah! ( How the heck do you keep coming back?!)
