Jake Farley Brendan Lukens, left, has mental health struggles. They got worse so they had to put the band on an indefinite hiatus, I think.
This is such a great version, holy shit. Kinda wish I hadn't gotten into em so late but at least we can still appreciate it now. :)
So much love for these guys. Been a fan since Sports and want nothing more than to see them get the recognition they so much deserve. ❤

I didn't know it was associated with 60s rock, but I started doing it like that since it keeps me from having to twist my wrist uncomfortably
The open e makes it a fmaj7 it makes a f chord sound so much sweeter on an acoustic

The band is still getting more popular day by day so there’s no way they won’t do a reunion show or something
@@adamdowd4799 i don't know, they don't seem the type to do that, mobo was a special once in a lifetime thing that I just missed out on by a few years but I'd rather see them get better mentally rather than a reunion that would most likely hurt them more
@@brandynkilpatrick I know right! I discovered them last year and been hooked ever since. Wish I had listened to them back in the day. But boy am I glad I found them.

Lame o records is having a 10th anniversary show in Dec and Ian hinted that something unexpected will happen at that show.

@lokijohn they didn't break up. Luken went through some depression while they were working on Holy Ghost but they are touring again. They just did a big tour with Joyce manor in the summer.

Arutero they called it a “hiatus” 3 yrs ago but they have not gotten back together and said next to nothing since going on hiatus. not to mention 2 of the members have another band who have put out 2 full length records since mobo hiatus.
