- Bloody hell this engine is strong! Even Nissan Qashqai is quick with this new 1332 ccm turbocharged engine. The worst thing on it? Of course - reaction of turbocharger - you wait sometimes almost 2 seconds, until engine goes into the full power.

Just bought one recently. Not disappointed. Great 1.3 turbo engine with plenty of pulling power and frugal on fuel too.. has a nice very smooth double-clutch autobox. Quiet, comfy car, but would have liked a bit less stiff suspension.. Loaded with tech. Very pleased overall though.
I have had my QashQai for over half a year now and I am very satisfied with it. The acceleration is very good if you use your right foot gradually. When the accelerator pedal is pressed too quickly, the 7-speed automatic transmission seems to hold back a bit. But I still regularly wonder how fast the QashQai can be at a catch-up maneuver. Also my fellow passengers who are driving for the first time are pleasantly surprised by the acceleration of this car. However, the fuel consumption increases considerably if you constantly accelerate quickly. But this car is also very suitable for cruising on beautiful roads. I even had a long holiday route where I didn't feel like rushing and I mainly drove 100 kilometers per hour but used 4.4 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers. So the car can also use fuel efficiently if your right foot does not lean too heavily on the gas pedal.
Is it burning oil or some other problems with the gearbox or the engine?

El mio, si pongo la palanca hacia mi , se pasa a modo manual y cambia solo a un RPM alto, pero no pone Ds mode. Como se pone Dsport Mode? El anterior que tuve se ponía al poner la panca hacia el conductor. Este no lo pone nunca, o será avería de nuevo?

i ordered the 1.3, 160hp acenta premium 9 days ago, and unfortunetely have to wait until september to drive it, but at least i know it's coming, can't wait to drive it, hopefully the 160hp wont let me down

This engine is set to power the Indian Kicks soon, coupled to an 8 step CVT though.
Just bought one 2019 20kkm 160 automatic ...nice car, speedometer shows about 6km/h too much with 17 inch winter tires but Nissan feels like quite perky but thirsty ...Bit too surface stiff suspension, Nokian tires might be partially reason for it but i have had more comfortable vehicles lately....but all in all 4/5

theras18 yes, absolutely! If anybody told me, that this is it 2.0 liter turbo, to be honest, I would be okay with his words. This engine pulls phenomenally! Insane engine, really.

Much better than the underpowered 1.2L turbo that they used to put in these cars........ It even rival the old 2.0L NA engine.
The 1.2. version is totally not comparable with the new 1.3 version. The 1.3 is a whole new engine. The 1.2 was a really slow acceleration car on the highway.

I tried this car out and then i tried a 1.7 Tucson Diesel from Hyuandai.
Very disappointed on Qashqai pulling force, expected a bit more aggressiveness given 160 hp.
You must have tried a different car than me then. My 1.3 turbo pulls great, just like this one. That was 8 secs to 60mph.

This says it has sport mode? I just ordered mine a week ago, due to price drop after 2021 model is coming in a few months.
Mine was made 2020, so maybe the current models have sport i guess?
This is NOT a CVT its DCT gearbox.

Lovely car and engine.. But give it to me with manual.. It rolls with way too many revs on the engine all the time, for no need = Too noisy and too much waste of fuel..

@@TaurusPresents 4.4l...is fake. The old 1.6T drive it with 5.9l and the BC say 4.3l so.....🤣🤣

@@nissangtrr37 I am still surprised every day when I see how economical this car can drive if you as a driver also put some effort into it. But as soon as you want to experience a bit more speed and acceleration, this engine also likes to work on that. I already have many fellow passengers with a smile on their faces about the acceleration of this car. But if I drive in a somewhat eco-style and my right foot does not lean too heavily on the gas pedal then I also have that smile because I make a lot of economical kilometers. And of course, I do not achieve the 4.4 on a daily basis, but was my most economical ride to date. According to my on-board computer my average is now over 16,000 kilometers on different types of roads 5.9.

@@muldix Yeah but rpm(s) are of the engines keeps staying high even slightly above 100km/h, shift of gear doesn't feel right.

That is some ridiculous 0-200 acceleration for 1.3 160hp qashqai. Like 33 sec?? Faster than 2.0 190hp diesel cars. cant be true.
We have same opinion as you. So we just went to Nissan and took another Qashqai 1.3 DIG-T for a spin. Is was also stupidly quick as this one... Unreal engine.
Why is it so amazing? Diesel has a smaller rev range with good power/torque compared to this. Sure, there might be a small turbo lag on transient acceleration but other than that it is just a small petrol engine with big turbo with all the advantages that petrol has over diesel. Don't forget the weight difference between this engine and a 2L TDI.
I have been driving it with great pleasure for more than half a year now and the acceleration for such a car is really amazing.
dont even need a massive engine size for this car its just naturally fast, this is from a guy with the turbo charged version
The speedo is not accurate though. 200 is more like 210 indicated on this car.
