Your storytelling is getting way better, even just compared to trip from Kentucky not that long ago. Very immersive. Thanks for giving me a short escape.
This was an outstanding episode dude. Really nice story unfolding. Getting me excited for 42 miles of . the South Downs this weekend. Looking forward to the final section. All the best to you all.
CAMERA WORK IS JUST **chef's kiss** 10/10 DUDE 👌
"Utterly lost. Not in the grand scheme of things, but just for the moment." I feel that way often.
Loving your energy/happiness/joy in this series
Man, your style and energy in your vids is top quality. Love the what you're doing and the beauty you are sharing
Just incredible, Jupiter. I don’t know why it took me so long to watch your short PNWT series, but it came at a perfect time. I really enjoy your editing, music choice and narration. You immerse us in your adventure with your skill and leave me craving adventure.
So awesome to have you guys stay with us, loving the videos!
Again, beautiful landscapes, fantastic colours. Your sense of humour. Glad you caught up with your friends, you look like a happy trail family.
Just beautiful. Thanks for bringing us along. The vibe is sweeeeet!
Very cool! You're in my hiking territory now...I've hiked by the smiley face several times..so fun! This is a tough hike because it's not well traveled, which is why it's so overgrown in places. Thanks for sharing!
I was looking at visitor statistics and saw how low North Cascades National Park was compared to many other national parks, and it's such a shame. It's one of my favorite places in the world. Amazing video series!
I hope the critters enjoyed your socks.
I appreciate you sharing your passion 👍😎👍 safe travels trail brother
Really, one of the best videos you’ve done. Great work. Thank you for sharing.
Filming and editing are so on point with this episode man!
This is perhaps the slickest (and most beautiful) hiking vid I have seen for a good while.
Beautiful scenery!! Thanks.
Thank you, this was lovely! Feel like so many hiking videos are about miles logged or specific (brand) stuff used. But this really captured the feeling of hiking, both together and with friends. And you also captured a nice glimpse of the PNW.
I think this may be my favorite video that you've put out. It's really wonderful!
Cool to see you on trails I’ve actually hiked and places I’ve been.
your positive mental attitude is contagious. PMA! love the videos man. I'm watching during the "stay at home" Rona situation and at least getting a glimpse of the outdoors through these. thank you.
Your bear story is my worst fear!!! What an awesome video! I love your stories. That’s such a beautiful hike. Thanks for sharing!
Really enjoyed this one, watching you come through territory that I call home (I actually live about a mile off the trail, and was just up part of it earlier today to the Oyster Dome).
very nice! makes me miss the northwest and the sound! thank you for the reminder of all its beauty :)
Awesome man love the way u put this together
Damn man! These new videos are next level 🔥 ATB, Ben ✌️
Great video dude. These new videos have been stellar and I'm digging this vlog/hiking film style for sure
just so amazing , keep on doing what you are doing love it to the moon!
I love that drum and bass song. Brings back memories
I love this! Thank you for taking us with you!
This is great, thank you. Looking forward to the rest.
Now Jupiter that was great! More please
Awesome video! It looks like such a great hike.
I love this episode!
Great vids Jup! It was great seeing you at the PCT days at the Locks! ...and thanks for the selfie too!
Dude that was so awesome. What a beautiful section. I freaking love Washington
Wow I’m very jealous you got to zip line across Swift Creek! My partner and I just skipped across rocks when we went
Welcome to our beautiful area!!!! Great videos!!!!
Awesome! Loved the video...
You’re an adorable human. Love watching your videos!
Beautiful video man, might be your best one yet. Makes me want to get out there and do it myself!
Great video.Enjoyed it very much !!!!
Really loved that video man. Fantastic!
Really well done
I was going to say what a beautiful trail. What great videography, perfect choice of music, and incredible editing. And then, damn! Those yo-yo skills.
Thanks. Really nice
Phenomenal. Vid was entertaining and editing is on point!! 👌
I live in Seattle. I gotta look into doing a section of this trail summer 2020.
Great video....your best yet.
7:46 "You know, if I'm rollin' into town and I still have food left, like what am I doin'? I'm either not eatin' enough or I'm carrying too much."
Jupiter follows the just-in-time supply chain philosophy.
definitely not the just-in-case type haha
Excellent video! Northern cascades are the best! Also really enjoy the style you use in making this video!
HAHAHA I live in SW Washington and the first 30 seconds of this are GOLD. Dude.. add some rain and we call that Tuesday. lol.
JupiterHikes never disappoints👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Def my fav episode evar 😯👌
This is really special.
These vids are fantastic man.
So...I have enjoyed all of your "videos". I find them, informative, funny, and entertaining. But this is different. This is no longer a "video". This was a big step up. This was more of what I guess I would call a short film. Next level dude.....👌
You are Mr. Happy! So enjoyable to watch. Would love a gear review on this hike- I don't see you made one :( But great vids.
The camera captures pretty well the colors and light, nice.
In another life, I would love to hang out with you guys and learn to hike. For now, sipping coffee in my backyard in Arkansas will have to do. Thanks for the content.
Hey man Arkansas has some great trails too! Probably won't be there this next year but certainly on my radar of stuff that's very interesting
The color grading/palettes in these videos have been d r e a m y
Love how you keep the shroom shots off the right. Consistency with framing etc is cool :)
If I could like this 10 times, I would. Thanks Jupiter!
Damn, this is beautiful.
Hey JUPITER, great ta see ya ,
,,,,swamp gal here,,,,,
Still useing that little tiny pack & &little water bottles ,,lol,,just dont know how. U do it ,,u stiil eattin beans & corn chips.
Going beneath that huge bridge was super cool! I’m glad you finally caught up with your friends. I thought they were two guys, but Alex must be the female. I hope y’all stuck it out together. I’m still in the teamwork mindset. That bear story you told us about was just what I was talking about. Luckily that guy was watching your back and the bear wasn’t an issue but alone you could be in that bears gut and no one would be the wiser. They’d find a shoe or some shit when your friends reports in. But I’m so happy you were safe. So much beauty in the world. It’s a shame we don’t see it. I regret not being able to see it but that’s going to change. I’ve got a new outlook on life and it took losing everything to find it.
Thanks for the lovely video. Sorry about your socks, but that is kinda funny
You're my favorite! :)
And you got to meet Larry David!
For real! I honestly thought it was him for a sec!
Some of the views early on don’t look real!! Gorgeous!
You need an Ursack for your clothes now...lol
Is that a Rainier can @ 17:30? Love the vid! From Seattle.
I wonder how many people don't even realize places of amazingly majestic beauty like this even exist.
Lol My troop was out there too, at about the same time, but that was not us.
Very nice bump in the editing quality, thanks for taking the time, and taking us along the trail!
Btw. I saw you also use polycro and wanted to ask you, do you sometimes experience it get stuck underneath with sand, dirt and other small pieces that make it heavier and not so easy to clean? You maybe have any good tips for getting less sticky things or a way to clean it and keep it UL :)
I give the polycro a good shake most mornings, but sure things can stick if its wet out. As it dries they just fall off tho! Thank you for the kind words! Trying to up my video world
@@JupiterHikes Thanks for the reply and the tips! And keep up the good work, the voice over, and better colors add a nice production value increase!
Loved it! Another fun video. You using epidemic sound for music or a different source? Keep up the awesome work dude 🙌
Thank you! And I am, but will say it may make it easier to find decent songs, the end process is still hours long. Better than a free website but still not the best. I think neemor said his problem was that you'll find everyone winds up using the same stuff, so he went with a different source
JupiterHikes that’s what Dan Becker told me. He finds a really great song and then sees that it’s been used by multiple big RUclipsrs so a ton of people have heard it over and over
Was that bigfoot? Great to see you making another video!
Yeah boyyyyyyy
Jow is your peloton 97 doing is it warm enough i am planning on doing 120 miles on the at the week before thanksgiving starting on the 15 from hot springs
BEARS DON'T LIKE VEGAN STUFF😂😂😂😂...Come on bro!!!sweet scenery though, that creek looks so inviting for feet!
Question: what was the brown/tan thing having on the tree at 1:10?
Did you just throw out the altra shoes? Then what shoes did you wear after that?
Wicked video Jupiter :) but more importantly the narrative and the way you stitched this story together was ripe af
Up until now I thought it was John and Alex (Pepperflake), ha!
pepperflake did join us for a bit in the last video! double the alex
How many extra miles do you think you walk (for total hike) when you have to place the camera and then have to go back to walk into the shot?
Probably not that much extra distance but it does take a lot of time to do so. Judging from how long each clip is I may spend as much as 45 minutes from the day doing this. I figure in time it'll go faster as I will just shoot better shots rather than film every little thing
BEAUTIFUL VIDEO. Well done, Jupe.
Was that you @ 03:56 with two hiking stix? So funny, "picked up stick to beat up a bear or set up tarp, which ever comes first." Har!
• Exceptional great ass video in every respect. Dang! Can't wait for the next one.
That was section sam! the guy who said a bear was checking me out the night before haha
🙂
Actually, morning dew, are you kidding me?! The worst thing to experience in the morning is surprise explosive diarrhea w people around.
Bummer about the socks.
Clicked on the video cause I thought it was cotezi in the thumbnail...sigh 🥑
Leave the bees alone and they will leave you alone
Good advice, bees certainly are still unnerving to be walking into a swarm of them as someone who's not as familiar
Hemhh
You have to smell your own poop every now and then??
