SOMETHING IMPORTANT FOR ALL CRAFTING!!! If the amount of base mats you have is the EXACT same amount it says will be used when crafting- then use 10% chance to craft extra next level mats, but if it isn't the exact same number, use 25% chance to craft base mat! UNLESS it would be impossible to get the amount you need to make another mat. Ex: you need two more base mats but can only craft once. Reason why explained below-
You'd think the best way to get the most amount of mats when crafting is the sucrose, albedo, or wrio bonus... (as 10% roughly guarantees every 10 times- while 25% for 1/3 of the next level mat means 12 times for a guaranteed) BUT! If you have even just ONE out of the three mats needed to craft again- then the best chances would be to do the 25%. As if you have one extra mat that would be left over, the guaranteed chance would be 8 times of crafting v.s 10 times crafting for another next level mat. Sorry this was a bit of a rant but i want limited mats to be easier to get for you! Sorry if i didnt explain it well-

6:34 The visual representation of the Bond of Life is actually double your maximum HP because that's the maximum amount of Bond of Life you can have. That's why when you have 30% of it, it only visually shows as 15%. So, if you have 30,000 HP on Hutao, you need to acquire a total of 60,000 Bond of Life to fill it up.
Like this so Moga could see it. The maximum amount of BOL you can have is 200% of your Max HP.
Arlecchino is the first character I completely ignored the leaks of due to how often she was changed, and prior to this I never had any experience with the BoL mechanic, but since I'm paranoid and want my characters to be full health all the time I noticed this fact by seeing how much slower Arlecchino's BoL got cleared from any healing compared to her HP bar
@@akirayuki6275 Use E and Burst at the start of the battle, that will heal your Arlecchino and reset E cd immediately to start a proper rotation.
@@NothingMeansNothingButNothing I know about her gameplay mechanics, thanks, I just didn't follow her beta updates like I usually do with most characters, so I wasn't aware that BoL was 200% of max HP until I got her
I think people are forgetting that it turns into A LITERAL SCYTHE for Arlecchino and that for me trumps the meta
That thing made me cream but as a f2p who saved about 8-9k gems across two accounts I knew i wouldn't have it, probably lose one 50/50 in one of the accounts but i was almost dead when i got her on both accounts early af, won 50/50 and her weapon on both accounts under TEN!!!!!! Wishes like WTF!!!!!! I spent hours of days farming her boss and weapon materials, used all my fragile, my day was made, she does 100k casually raw Pyro and even hit 168k in abyss 😭what I was happy about is I waa still left over with 3-4k wishes on both accounts and as a f2p i have a chance at rolling on the next banner as well if I'm mad enough, 😂

@@milk8699yes but with her signature the weapon actually transforms into a scythe. With other polearms you just kinda get a golden glow in the shape of a polearm that doesn’t look nearly as good

no matter how big the % is (unless is 100% or more), you cant kill xiao that way, but it was interesting to see

%DMG doesn't snapshot if I'm correct (unless elemental bonus), doesn't matter the character
@@atotallycommonuser2866Yep, just checked it, It doesn't get snapshotted. Atleast the rotation with Crimsonmoon is shorter niw, but the passive will be useless campared to PJWS since she can definitely snapshotted the ATK% it gives.
Atleast the drip looks cool enough for her, so that's enough for me

The biggest asset of this polearm is its slick and smooth asf look
its pretty niche, but honestly worth in just for the looks imo

Welp it looks like we're back to Sigs being niche again after Chiori's weapon being somewhat versatile
Arlecchino's Sig is really just a fancy Jade Spear but hey it's a scythe!
Is what I would say if Navia's Axe and Arlecchino's scythe could be used on more characters!
Hoyo really said we'll give you different weapon types in the form of skins but we'll make them inefficient to use on other characters like c'mon man

Short answer, no, no one else besides her can use the weapon unless another BOL polearm char comes along which probably wont be happening, or a char that can apply BOL (im hearing siegwene can do that)
u can use beni with that wepon.. beni starts healing if below 79%... if u dont go below 70%... he wont heal... this u will not lose BOL

I just realized hu tao's normal attacks need to be leveled as well as her skill. I was using my hu tao with a lvl 5 normal attack and was wondering why her dmg was so little, I've had her since her 2nd rerun 😭
i pulled it out of sheer look and while it looks sick on Arlecchino Im hoping for future polearm users to have the BoL mechanism to add a little bit of versatility to this weapon.

Since bond of life can go up to 200%, the visual indicator is scaled accordingly. So, a 100% BoL only fills the visual indicator half way.
If u get lost grimore u can acces some rooms there are like three enemy in one room and three in sperated rlkms
Once they release more Spear Users that have Bond Of Life mechanics this weapon will probably be very useful
I haven't explored the new area yet just enough for the new boss material. Is that not the guy in the background where he's looking for him?
I could always tell that Moga had some deep understanding of TC but tried to dunp it down to entertain a more casual base of viewers. I like how he is not afraid to speak what is in his mind anymore these days.

can you try crimson moon's semblance on rosaria, I would like to see if it would work in a rosaria, yelan, mona and a flexible.
if there is actually decimal point in HP, then it would take forever since at most it will only reach near zero. Or they simply hardcoded it to not go below 1
They will introduce a way to apply Bond of Life on all characters in the future is what I reckon.

So I’m pretty sure the weapon only works on her
I would personally use it on Raiden Shogun with the new artifacts
Bond of life is worth twice as much as it shows, so if half of your HP is bond of life, you have 100% of it. Your whole HP is bond of life, you have 200% hp as bond of life.

Imagine if Xiangling wears it. After using burst then go use charge atk then switch back. She can probably stack the BoL while offfield. Right?

Don't forget that her burst snapshotting wouldn't make this that useful compared to other options though; like moga said everyone else only being able to put it to use at their second rotation at the earliest is just hardly worth it

Funnily enough, I believe Xiao's optimal play style is to do a charged attack, animation cancel it with a jump and then plunge so perhaps you could actually make it work on him ^^

The fact it’s a scythe already gives the weapon like 10+ cool points. Then the design and color scheme bumps it up by +5 more, and if that’s not enough add 30+ more points to the fact that any other weapon on her just doesn’t look right. It’s horrible corporate practice but it’s absolutely worth the buy if ur getting it for her
i'm pretty sure that it's stated somewhere in xiao's kit that he cannot die from the burst tick dmg
edit: not quite spelled out, but since the hp drain scales with his current hp, at a certain point the hp loss will simply be too small to subtract
Guys if you have the primos and the chance, get the scythe. It looks to good on her. And it would be pity if she reruns with a donut or amos

The bar ratio is actually 1:2 BoL:Hp so full BoL bar means 2 times your actual hp bar

The bond of life value can exceed 100% hence theu decided to show half of the real value . If you have 40% then it will show 20 , 100 will show 50 etc.

Doesn’t Xaio heal himself, clearing some of the bond of life? I also feel like most attack scaling pole arm users run bennet for their teams (Rational), so wouldn’t that clear it as well?

Not related to the weapon but, the BoL bar isn't that helpful, don't you think? If there is a straight up number of percentage telling you the amount of BoL, that'd be better. I guess people have been asking the same for indication of shield duration.
The Bond indicator is a 1:2 ratio.

Pre Xianyun Xiao likes doing CA on single target. Jump cancel a CA into a plunge was the max single target damage. Like stacking jade spear.
Unless that's internalised propaganda from my 1.x days. Very possible. Those guys weren't all that good at TC.

Literally any atk scaler who doesn't give themselves dmg% and uses a shielder works (do not heal them tho)
When your craft stuff, you only want to craft no more than 14 pieces per craft, cuz when it's below 10 you can get like 0
Crafting like 14 will give you up to 4 extra. But everything above 14 will increase nothing. That's from my experience. Never more than 14, and if possible, never less than 12
The drip is more important than her C1, trust me
Hutao hp decrease and Xiao life drain is both asymptote it's 1/x and will never reach zero.
I was about to say that at 9:00 the actual best rotation for Xiao is Plunge CA*1 Plunge CA Plunge

Hu Tao prefers HP, Xiao will die eventually, Cyno needs too much teammates (Nahida, Kazuha, a shielder, a battery, a hydro), Xiangling needs Bennett, Raiden also needs Bennett but she can kinda works with Sara/Kazuha/Zhongli switching 1200 atk for 20% electro shred and a polearm passive if you really need the crit rate more than energy recharge.
Doesn’t turn into a scythe for anyone but Arlecchino and is therefore, unusable on anyone but her.
Bro never use those 10% chance to get double charecters, use the 25% refund ones instead, they give back enough mats to make more the what the double ones can give, it is rigged from day onw

Honestly arlecchino's weapon isn't worth pulling imo. If you have jade winged spear it work very well on her for the same base stats. And technically it evens out her dmg loss as you consume the BoL by increasing atk and dmg as you keep hitting ennemies.
The fact that it turns into a scythe is why everyone is buying it although it's a pretty niche weapon, it's a genius move by hoyoverse to bait all the fanboys

She is, to absorb the bond of life that she applies to enemies you have to do a charged attack. So this buffs the bond of life she gets that way

For some reason bond of life goes up to 200%. So if it's in the middle of you health bar, it is at 100%. A small UI saying the percent would really go a long way
