Yes, there was a jury decision, so they must pay some of their immobiles to pay gtheir debts to EBU

For 2025 it has been newly narrowed down to Basel or Geneva. Like for Basel, Subscribe for Geneva!

I hope the 'increased collaboration with fan groups' doesn't mean they get rid of the juries of will result in shorter shows.
I doubt they'll get rid of the juries - it solves little and just creates a whole bunch of other problems. As for shortening the shows, SVT wanted to and wasn't able to (in fact, they managed to make the SFs 10-15mins longer) - if they can't shorten the shows, who can?
@@ESCHayden Yeah good comment, I just wonder what it means in reality, I thought about the juries just because many fans want to get rid of them. but I guess they won't.

BBC don't usually confirm until the autumn, but they have no reason to withdraw. It's still a ratings hit for them so it's a no brainer really. Once we actually hear something I'll add UK.

My heart sank when I saw "Head of Contest" (who will be in charge of running order again). I had hoped the Swiss would be more independent and objective. Oh well no starting spot # 2 for Sweden once again. Probably already assembling the complicated props!
I can understand why Björkman often comes back. The CP is essentially a mediator between the host broadcaster and delegations, so it's good to have someone they know both know and trust.
@@ESCHayden are you on his payroll? I understand your comments though most fans would like to see the back of him (NOT in that way 😆). The contest has become a little stale and perhaps over-swedified. I know he is not responsible for world politics, but you can't say he did a good job this year?
