i am 59. canadian, born and raised. i had no idea that this hatred was out there. yes, i heard jokes, just like i heard jokes about pretty much every group of people, when you could tell jokes, and moved on. that this has become so in-your-face, without any real challenge or repercussions, breaks my heart. that the politicians and university leaders do nothing only allows this to grow.

Having taught building construction for 13 years, I have hear it all from parents who thought I was hard on their children but never thank me that their offspring also never had an accident in my shop classes. This is one of the main reasons that 3 out of 5 teachers quit the profession within 5 years.
