@@datamag2018 I’m a noob when it comes to messaging on here. Not sure where you messaged me… LOL. Where would I find it? Push come to shove, I have an Instagram account (same name as my YT channel). It was used many years ago, but I’m on it right now.
I got my H.I.S.S. yesterday. Yeah mayne, this shit goes absolutely crazy. It's a toss up between that Gridiron cannon and the H.I.S.S. Tank as being the best toys that I ever bought. I'm extremely impressed and I eventually plan on buying additional H.I.S.S. one day. Just out of curiosity, how many COBRA troopers, Vipers, and Tele-Vipers do you own? This is a post I made on _Hiss Tank_ about how I utilize COBRA Intelligence assets in my head canon. We have similarities in the way we use the COBRA intelligence community, (you use the Pit Vipers in the same way I use the Red Ninjas,) Feel free to incorporate these concepts into your _JOE_ stop motion series. The only fully developed part of my JOEverse is COBRA Intelligence and it's loosely based on U.S. Intelligence Community. *THE BARONESS* In my JOEverse the Baroness is COBRA's intelligence chief and her duties are the same as the U.S. Director of Intelligence. The Baroness overseas and approves of all COBRA's intelligence operations and the agents who are assigned to those assignments. She also approves of funding, the allocation of resources, she gives final approval to the budget and the finalized draft of COBRA Commander's daily brief. Stasi is also the Crimson twins commanding officer, but she doesn't micromanage the Crimson Guard though she's fully aware of SieGie activities she allows the twins to function with a certain degree of autonomy. *THE NIGHT CREEPER LEADER* The Night Creeper Leader is the operations chief of the COBRA Command Intelligence divison and runs the day-to-day operations of COBRA Intelligence. He'll make assignments and identify things that COBRA needs to get more information on in addition to crunching the numbers to see how much a particular assignment will cost. He'll compile the briefs that are put together by Night Creeper analysts and together with the Baroness formulate the Commander's daily brief. The NCL is one of two people, (including himself,) that knows what the Crimson Guard's true mission is. Outside of C.C., the Baroness, the twins, COBRA High Command, and Destro, (Stasi and Destro are in relationship and couples talk,) everybody else in COBRA thinks the SieGies are nothing more the Commander's security detail. The NCL makes promotions which the Baroness approves and he recommends COBRA, (Night Creeper Officers,) to begin SieGie training at the Springfield Genius Academy. *The CRIMSON GUARD COMMANDERS* Tomax deals with the running and oversees the Crimson Guard operating in the private sector of while Xamot deals with the ones operating in the public sector. The Crimson Guard are either in the seats or power, (i.e. C level officers in corporations, upper management, senior positions on a politician's staff, or they're in a position to influence public policy (the language in bills or goverment regulations,) a corporation's operating procedures or policies. Stasi, Tomax and Xamot also go over the list of candidates of Crimson Guard cadets that will be submitted to COBRA Commander for his approval. This is how I utilize the SieGies. A SieGie will be assigned to a think tank like the Federalist Society (who recommends judges to the federal bench.) The SieGie will recommend another SieGie to a federal judgeship. A SieGie who is a lawyer will be positioned to be clerk with with an appellate judge. Once in this position when the opportunity arises the SieGie will put language in the judge's decision that could be useful to COBRA at a later date. A SieGie who's in media, (i.e. managing editor at a newspaper,) will have to ability to run stories that are beneficial to COBRA, bury and/or kill stories that would be detrimental to COBRA or run or kill stories that would be detrimental to COBRA's enemies and adversaries. As I mentioned in "How Does COBRA Make Money?" - www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-joe-toys-modern-general-discussion/521589-how-does-cobra-make-money.html#post5706411 A SieGie in a governmental agency like the F.D.A. can fast track E.E. products to market or hinder an E.E. competitor's to market by tying it up in red tape. A SieGie at the Patent and Trademark office can "lose," an E.E. competitor's paperwork. In the evident an COBRA operative is arrested and has to go to trial a SieGie assigned to the local D.A.'s or U.S. Attorney's office, (and their global equivalent,) will be assigned the case and will either fail to get an indictment or fucked up at trial so the operative can beat the case on appeal. If need be a Crimson Guard that is a judge will be assigned the case and he'll make rulings beneficial to COBRA depending on if the COBRA needs a conviction at trial or an acquittal. What makes the Crimson Guard truly dangerous is the insidious nature in which they work. They're moles in every sense of word. When their machinations are found out the damage has been done and the SieGie has either went to another job, he's retired from his cover job or assigned to be a part of Commander's garrison. The Crimson Guard are the commanding officers of the of the Night Creepers in their sector and the Siegies compile relevant intel that is sent to SieGie analysts who then compile a brief for the twins and the Baroness. The Night Creeper officer may work directly with a SieGie, (but often times they don't.) Also, the Night Creeper Officer doesn't know that the SieGie is in the Crimson Guard, they just think the SieGie is a higher ranking Night Creeper. The Crimson Guard's training include an in depth analysis of Robert Green's The 48 Laws of Power, The Art of Seduction, the Art of War, Think and Grow Rich and How to Win Friends and Influence People. Also, included in the SieGie training are four segments on sexual manipulation where SieGie cadets are taught kegels (and they're encouraged to practice the kegels on their own time,) and in class instruction from pimps and prostitutes. I've modeled Entensive Enterprises after the real life Carlyle Group, (which is a private equity firm.) Just as former President George H.W. Bush and former British Prime Minister John Major sat on the board of the Carlyle Group, Extensive Enterprises also has former heads of state on it's board. It needs to be noted that while he was a board member of the Caryle Group President Bush continue to receive his daily intelligence brief and this how COBRA gets a lot of it's intel, directly from the source and this how COBRA stays a step ahead of the JOEs. It's not that these former heads of state are COBRA agents, it's quite the contrary they're sharing the intel in hopes that they'll make money and strengthen their stock profolios *The RED NINJAS* Unofficially known throughout COBRA Command as the "Commander's Hittas," the Red Ninjas are COBRA's equivalent to the CIA's Special Operations Group. The Commander utilizes these COBRA operatives in operations that he doesn't want COBRA directly tied to but he doesn't want to outsource to the Z family, (Zartan and 'em aren't cheap,) These are also the operatives that perform assassinations. Vypra is the commanding officer of the Red Ninjas. I mentioned earlier that in my JOEverse there's two people outside of COBRA High Command and Destro who know what the Crimson Guard's true missionn is. Those two people are the NCL and other being Vypra. In my JOEverse the NCL and Vpyra are in a relationship, (and as with Stasi and Destro,) couples talk and the NCL likes to run his mouth, (either bragging or venting,) and truth be told there's things about COBRA and SieGie intel operations that Vypra shouldn't know. If C.C., the Baroness, or the twins knew that Vypra had an extensive knowledge of COBRA intelligence ops they would both be killed. Though Destro is privy to certain sensitive information the Baroness doesn't go into great detail about it whereas the NCL is tellin' Vypra all of the business. *The NIGHT CREEPERS* The Nights Creepers are the field agents and analysts in the COBRA Command intelligence community. They're the ones who do the actual spying, identify possible double agents, and find possible weakness in targets that can be exploited for sabotage. The Night Creepers are trained in ninjitsu, (as well as modern forms of espionage,) and martial arts, (i.e. Far Eastern fighting systems as well as Krav Maga.) The Night Creeper candidates can either apply to join COBRA intelligence or they're recommended by their superior officers. Their training includes an overview of Robert Green's The 48 Laws of Power, The Art of Seduction, the Art of War, Think and Grow Rich and How to Win Friends and Influence People. The "Z," Family For operations with a high degree of difficulty, a high probability of getting caught, and where COBRA Commander wants absolutely no connection to COBRA Command he'll outsource these assignments to Zartan, Zarana, and Zandar. These assignments are usually at a minimum six months. The Commander will also utilize the "Z," family to cross reference and confirm intel in addition to making sure COBRA intelligence operatives and those working with COBRA are still playing the "home team." The "Z," family will sometimes work with the Red Ninjas and Zandar will do a dry run on Firefly's assignments by confirming the security patrols, making sure keys and access codes are functional, and targets where it's supposed to be.
McGilli! What up my guy! So as far as my collection, I never really thought I'd become the guy that has hundreds and hundreds, maybe thousands of figs....but here we are... LOL! As far as Cobra troopers, I have probably 25 or so if I include infantry, officers and Python patrol. I also have the 2 female troopers.. Traditional vipers its probably 15 or so, including crimson vipers and PP. Two range vipers, two alley vipers, two televipers, 15 or so BATs (regular, crimson, PP and artic), 8-10 ninjas (blue and red plus Vypra), 2 crimson guards, 6 HISS personnel plus the fire team (on the way).... I think that's it for Cobra soldiers. I'm still hunting Eels, crimson alley vipers, and snow serpents. Loving your head cannon! It's very well thought out. I don't know what you do for a living, but your writing skills as far as coming up with stuff and connecting it is top notch! As always I appreciate the love, insight, and knowledge!
Great work Data. It's nice to see that even after 40 years my original design still holds up.
