Throwbacks are awesome and you know it, I actually subbed this way back in 2008 when they first went on this show, but I had to do some editing, since the wording was weird and timing was wrong.
Those who were Big Bang fans long enough to know me as that 15 year old crazy girl who keep giving Bong's clothing names, will probably remember Sam, Bong's first of many furry animals =)
Looking back, crazy memories bro.... this was when they just gained popularity through "Lies", and in order to maintain their status, they had to continously releasing new stuff and also went on many shows while preparing for their 2008 THE GREAT concert and MANY year-end shows which requires lots of practice and planning.
It was tiring and ridiculous to a point that all 5 of them has to be admitted to the hospital, Bong suffered depression because he didn't know why they have to be THIS busy. It was heartbreaking at the time for me, I broke down when Baby injured his ankle, it was getting so bad that YG had to clear off everything that January and Febuary so they can have some rest.
They came back after a 6 months hiatus (not really, because they were promoting "FOR THE WORLD" and "WITH U" in Japan) with "Haru Haru" and that was it, it was set, Big Bang's position in the music industry is solid. After that, they were able to go on releasing their music without all the busy schedules and shorter promotional period, many fans find it disappointing that Big Bang never go on variety shows like other idols or only promote for a month or so, while you have no idea how glad I am of the fact that they won't have to drain themselves again.
So those who say that Big Bang and 2NE1 thinks that they're better than other "idols" because they're not doing the same thing the other idols are doing, just know that it's because YG is more like a father figure to them than a CEO, he cares deeply for his kids.
I love it when SEUNGRI is the focus. He is just too cute
GD saying Seungri is interested in stocks and investments. 8 years later he owns number of businesses and holds stocks for popular clubs particularly one in Macau.

And, seeing this video I remember how much Taeyang admires Stevie Wonder, and they recently met him at the MAMA awards, aww can you imagine telling the Taeyang from 2008 "hey, in a few years you're going to meet Stevie Wonder and you'll be so big that you guys will actually present an award for him", i'm sure he wouldn't even believe it.

i totally agree with you. i don't want them to be exhausted to the point of being hospitalized ever again. they don't need to promote themselves by being on a million variety shows loosing sleep and feeling uncomfortable. i like seeing them happy. i thank YG for not pushing them to do extreme promotions. thanks for the throwback upload!

when i heard about idol group disband because of tiring , then i realized that's why YG does not allowed his artist to go to variety show.
this is because yg don't want his idol too tiring and effect their health. i love YG and his role not just a producer, but also a dad to them.
i love BB n 2ne1 because of their passion of music an their strong performance in stage. they don't need any variety show promotion, once they perform on stage they are like boom.
