Some VIPs sleep on the maknae, but they don't realize just how intelligent he is. He's very cognizant of BigBang's image and how they come off to the public. Out of all of them I feel like he is the most savvy when speaking on shows. He intentionally takes on the role of the silly mouse in their cat-&-mouse portrayals on shows just to give the other members something to comfortably talk about and to also get laughs from the audience. I feel like he is also more out going and better at bridging the gap between YG artists and outside artists. He's a smart businessman.

Take lesson, improve and move forward.

Seungri looks so beautifully content in this, I like this side he's so calm and I always knew he does all that firing up for comfort. He's just someone who is all about "make people feel good first" and he almost can't stand negativity and his concern of the happiness and laughter of others show how much of an incredible individual he is, he makes me smile just by looking at him.. :)

That is just their way of showing Seungri how they care for him. Surely if you don't care about someone, you won't comment right?

So I'm just binge watching old Bigbang videos and I want to say I am so proud of you. I know you are feeling a great amount of pressure for your solo activities right now. Please do know that you did really well on your album. You didn't just fill the space on VIP's hearts but you showcased how talented and intelligent you are. The Great Seungri is REALLY GREAT album, all the tracks are worth listening to. A job well done indeed. You improved so much through the years and I am sure your hyungs are so sooo proud of you. Congratulations Seungri! You deserve all the recognition💛💛💛

i watch the whole video before seeing the comments, I didn't even notice they are bashing Seungri. They were just curious on how seungri manage his first solo, how he thinks and feel while doing it first time and since he did all the composing, writing for the music. Why would they make fun of him when its his first solo, most of the time they joke around with him. If the rest of the member criticize him after a performance that is because they recognize his talent and gives him advice off camera. I think Seungri already receive praises for his first solo from the members and it doesnt need to be shown on camera all the time.
As same as critics don't you think? Why is a critic better than a praise in camera? What is best for promotions and public image? Sorry but the last part does not make sense to me. As an artist I would prefer my member to tell me how to improve privately and with respect and not when they are recording me and I can't defend myself as I would like to. That's not nice. Sorry.
i think u have read the last part wrong, can u please quote it so i will know which one is not nice and if I wrongly wrote it to be misunderstood then I apologize. As I have putted my words together in the last part, it meant the same as yours, it does not need to be shown in camera that Seungri has received formal criticism by his members because we all know that some fans seeing that would not receive it so openly. That was not criticism they did on camera, they were lightly joking around which we all know they have close brotherhood. Most of us have seen them joking around on camera and sometimes fool around about their performance but it does not mean criticizing them thoroughly to make them feel bad. I have remembered Seungri received a lot of formal criticism from GD as artist to artist not by hyung dongsaeng relationship with a full 3 page length SMS talking about what should be done and not do and sometimes calls him after his performance recording and advice Seungri of his performance. GD did it off camera but Seungri revealed it on his SeungriTV that he appreciates it a lot because it helped him get through his first solo smoothly. :) 5 years of watching them, Seungri is the type who says blunt words but does not mean it(he gets in trouble for that), who is really mischievous but looks out for everybody, and when the hyungs is present he listen and behave... :D
seeing seungri with glasses makes me want to faint already. I like seeing how serious he is about his work. Its something that we rarely see in bigbang shows where he likes to act funny. Tbh, i think the real seungri is the one who thinks alot. The one who usually has deep thoughts if u get what i mean

They've been together for almost 7 years. They've been there done that. They trained together remember? They know each other's strongpoints and weaknesses more than we fans do. They criticize and complement each other because that's how they care for each other.They're more like brothers than just co-labelmates. They're like siblings who bickers each other but when someone gets hurt, they are very much more supportive than that.
Stop saying that Seungri needs more love and recognition because he's already receiving a lot from his fans, his company, his family and specially his hyungs.
His hyungs and sunbaes put up their pokerfaces because obviously its on cam. Words are carefully expressed whenever there are cameras around but when they are by themselves i'm sure they give love,support and recognition to the maknae for a job well done.

Wow!! This is 2017!! this my first time watching this video, I knew then how big of a star V. I is, full of talent, beautiful face, angelic voice all in one package. I will never forget when he was asked I think that was from happy together show, i'm not sure if that's the title of the show, my apology ??? Seungri was asked what his job with BB group, he said " to make them (4 guys) successful", how amazing this guy's character is, and little did we know that he is the one that gives life to BB, and his over all package his face, voice, and his character was and is a valuable assets of BB, and he'll leave an indelible mark in Kpop industry!!!! awesome and great job V. It was really adorable when Seungri said that he was nervous and stuff and -(they were surprised to hear it,they actually thought he may be bluffing)- they started saying nice things about his performance which cheered him up and I mean they've given their genuine opinion. It felt a bit fluffy.
I think this is super cute. And also kinda love that 3 of them use corrective lenses when not on stage. Also cute that Yongbae admitted he wears shades on stage to help with nerves so he can focus on the music.
Seungri is such a good sport, I see him get harassed in so many videos and he still takes it like a champ.

Their interaction is honestly how real siblings would be like. Everyone loves to rib the youngest...And the older siblings absolutely can’t stand it if the youngest, the baby, starts acting all serious and mature when the baby they knew was always so cute and bouncy. It’s hard to accept. Hence the ribbing.

It's a shame that I could practically feel Seungri's anxiety while watch this.... I mean they all want to do well and and they all tease one another but Seungri seems to be the only one who shrinks into himself when it comes to having his hyungs see his work. It's just sad that he seems to view himself as being inadequate when around his hyungs. Hopefully, he'll get the recognition he deserves. :)
I totally agree. I think he wants to please them b/c he's younger; its like looking up to an older sibling, but You don't want them to over shadow you either. I think he's grown as an artist/performer. We don't know what the members said to him after/before the video was shot, so maybe they did tell him other positive things.

I don't think they were bashing Seungri, but trying to give him good feedback to work with. They want him to get better and if they don't give him a bit of tough love, then he won't. You know they weren't bashing him because at the very end, they told him he did very well and even asked when the next solo was. They generally enjoyed it, they just want their maknae to improve and tough love is the best thing to improve with. Hell, Top hyung didn't say much of anything bad about Seungri's performance.
