I purchased this safe at the local Cabela’s and took it back within an hour of purchase. It’s not well-built and was difficult to program. I eventually purchased a VAULTEK and have had it for about 3 months. The VAULTEK is light years ahead of the Hornady. It’s easy to set up and built like a tank.
sorry, i wasn't clear. the stickers work fine unless they are in close proximity of the phone. So if i hold the sticker against the phone and move it close to the safe, it won't open. if i leave the sticker where it is and move the phone away, it cycles fine..until i bring the phone back close. this happens whether the sticker is on the phone or on the outside/inside of the case. the case without the phone works - so the interference is definitely the phone. additionally, it's specifically the metal on the phone i think b/c i have the same result when the phone is off. I saw someone else complaining about this and Horrnady suggested putting pieces of paper between the phone and RFID chip. no dice.

stickers don't work with my iphone... inside or outside the case.
The sticker works before you put it on the phone or case but not after? You may need to clear it out and reprogram them again.

Had mine for 6 months and the unlock mechanism already broke. It’s a POS.
