Ive left an extra hogue pistol grip hanging from a tree in my back yard. My plan is to leave it there a full 12 months until christmas 2025 just to see how tough the overmould is. The hogue grips fit my hands perfectly.

I took the water jackets off and only broke 5 bolts. Simple fix really, just take the head cover to a drill press with some Kobalt drill bits and drill out the stainless steel bolts left in them and retap with 5/16 standard tap. Problem solved. Just make sure you round out the water jacket cover bolt hole threads when you re-tap or, if you can find them, use partially threaded bolts. The problem was I couldn't find any 1 inch partially threaded 5/16 standard bolts, so I drilled out the water jacket cover bolt holes to have no threads in them (which they don't anyway). In the manual, it says to clean out the water jackets every year. Now, I'm replacing the poppet valve. Hope this solves my problem. My engine would run fine at WOT for about 5 or 10 minutes then go into reduced RMP mode.

Just got back from a week stay at Alligator Point 8/6 - 8/12. This time of year the fishing is not very good and the place is saturated with crab traps. The only thing I was able to catch was catfish. I used cut mullet / shirmp / fish bites / and fished every day for a week without success. I was told October was the best time to come fish in that area. Other than that it's very peaceful and has plenty of wildlife. Highly recommend a day at Wakulla springs / Crums bait store / My Way seafood

I know its an older video now but since part of it is dealing with cheap trigger fix upgrades I couldnt help but mention and recommend a JP 3.5lb reduced power AR spring kit. Like 10$ online most places. Ok, so maybe not as quick and easy to install as the trigger set screw and the grip, but def doable for most guys if you are mechanically inclined at all, and you have a mil spec trigger installed, def within DIY reach zone if people just follow a how to vid. But anyhow, I agree the grip is frickin awesome. For the money, its the best. The only thing I can recommend above it is a straight up G10 grip if youre looking for the absolute BEST in grip traction but then again youre looking at a 100$ item too

This must be at high high tide as usually a SPRING on low tide....ya can’t get to camp on low tide...thus make sure your watching tide times....otherwise you’re stuck.
