A coin sorter and deposit machine is a type of automated teller machine (ATM) that is used for sorting and counting coins. These machines are commonly found at banks and financial institutions, including the Commonwealth Bank in Australia.
The purpose of a coin sorter and deposit machine is to allow customers to quickly and easily deposit large quantities of coins into their accounts without the need for manual counting. Customers can insert a bag or container of coins into the machine, which then sorts and counts the coins and automatically credits the deposit to the customer's account.

Umm I'm not too sure but with mine I'm pretty sure u put the coins in and then u get a receipt and then give it to the person in the little cubical thing haha and then they give u cash? Is that how that work can I just get cash back for the coins?
You are right. However, it seems they have changed the conditions. You must be their customer and money will be deposited to your bank account.
@@byohappiness oh ok well I am a customer and have an acc but it will go straight to my acc or because I'm a customer i get it in cash?
I would recommend you to check with the bank as I am not too sure if they still can provide cash. In my case, it will be deposited to my account in the same day, the waiting period will be shown on receipt.

Commonwealth Bank, it is nationwide.

I honestly feel like crashing a trolley into my local anz coin machine it jipped me $400 now for a fun day trying to recover it so pathetic my kogen coin counter works better compared to the anz coin counter
