  • Introduction - CFA Level 1 Free Lecture (2022/23) by Kunal Doshi, CFA
Here’s the list of all my Past recordings of CFA Level 1 Lectures, Raw and Unedited. Hope you like and enjoy it and find it useful.

    Background:
2 years back, on the occasion of my Daughter's birthday, I launched CA Final Course Free on my channel and everyone gave a positive response which motivated me to come up with the idea to launch one of my past courses free on my channel and I made it a task to launch one course every alternate year or perhaps every year.
    What is this?
Here is the playlist of all the Topics/Subjects of CFA level 1 which was applicable for 2021/22 and also for 2023. Although it's not exact as per the latest notes, the concepts remain the same. It is a live classroom recording, absolutely unedited and completely raw, so apologies if something during the class was not accurate 100%. Also, my English might not be at its best so ignore the grammar and accent-related issues.
Should I use this for my CFA?
The concepts are almost the same however, some cosmetic changes remain every year.
Someone who goes through this entire playlist will realize how this is similar to the new syllabus in terms of concept.
But If you are hoping this to exactly match the new curriculum then I suggest rather join my latest Live batch.
The purpose of this uploading is:
    1. It's my old recording (let me get it straight) so it is better to upload it instead of keeping it in a hard disk
    2. Those who wish to learn by doing self-study but might need some help or concept clarity can use this and I know it really matters for many who cannot afford or have no time to join a paid class.
    3. For Those who wish to join my class, it’s a kind of demo as to how my online class sessions are and of course, you can make a call about buying my recordings or joining a live batch.
    4. My personal goal is that in the next few years, I wish to upload the latest recordings of around 8-10 courses free on my channel and I'm working on it.
    Why am I doing it?
Well, because education has given me everything in life to date I think over the next couple of years I can create My Portfolio of all the courses that I am able to teach and make it accessible to as many as possible so that there are many who cannot probably reach out or cannot afford they can perhaps see my videos and get whatever help they can.
Conclusion - Who can use it:
So overall you can use these videos as a beginning tool or you can use them as a complimentary to your existing class or existing lectures that you have taken or notes that you have taken.
So this will be kind of not a loss for you For sure it will be really helpful when I have shared my methods/techniques of understanding concepts through my lens.
    Reach out:
If you have any queries or any doubts you can reach out to me at my below contact details.
You can also post your comments and feedback about how you find the lectures, were useful or not.
You can give me your suggestions in the comment box I will be really glad to improvise myself.
    Socially:
You can also connect with me on LinkedIn on Instagram where I post a lot of informative Notes and short videos and of course, you can subscribe to our RUclips channel for more such information.

the 100% up and 50% down happened recently as well loll, I was reading the other day about "Lyft" and they had mistakenly misquoted their earnings report and market went frenzy lol, until they made the statement that instead of 50 base points they had miswritten 500 hahaha

In your example of ryan cohen, it is not 0% return. assuming he invested same amount in apple and wells fargo and lets say 100 in apl and 100 in wf. So 100% return in apl will become 200 and 50% downfall in wf will bring the value to 50. So total he is left with 250 compared to his initial investment of 200 i.e. return of 25%. Here Arithmetic mean is applicable

It is an example of a same stock in 2 years time period, which has 100% up in first year and 50% down in the second year. In this scenario the arithmetic mean would be 25% but in real if you calculate the actual value increase of the stock it would be 0. So this is a situation where arithmetic mean can be misleading.
it's not about the portfolio of stocks. In your example the arithmetic mean is applicable and correct.
