- After a slow start and shaky QB play, the Rutgers offense hit another stride en route to a 2-0 start. Topics include Athan Kaliakmanis finishing strong through the air, the depth at wide receiver, the dominance of Kyle Monangai, the stability of the offensive line, defensive development, thoughts heading into the bye week and more.
Enough in these first two games for both the Rutgers optimist and the pessimist. Optimist: As always Monangai, a glimmer of a passing game, some improvement on the O-line. Pessimist: Defense inconsistencies (yes, some key guys hurt, but concerns on depth). Overall, showing improvement from last year and I couldn't be happier about Michigan and Notre Dame!
My brother finally got a workout with the cannon, Keep scoring.
Truly very worried about the DLine. There are tons of effort needed as an infusion to see some serious improvement. Love the OLine what a difference a great coach and players willing to significantly improve has been demonstrated. Watching all the other conferences games.
Wesley Bailey hasn't played yet this season. Tyremm Powell and Flip Dixon haven't played either. RU should be getting them back for Virginia Tech, I'd imagine.
Virgina Tech has looked extremely beatable
2 weeks to talk about injuries status and Virginia Tech....quick vacation 😅
Is this the earliest we’ve had a bye week? Seems weird.
With conference expansion, you now have 2 bye weeks
if you dont want the Gavin supporters to bring smoke then stop dropping his name. you act like he never threw a deep pass. STOP IT, it sounds personal. Mantis had a good 2nd half but it was Akron. Im not gonna dis him like you all Dissed GW. We'll get a better look at Mantis from here on. Kyle is elite, hope Schiano doesnt get him hurt. Sam Brown is done.
@@haaniymccoy2587 I was a vocal supporter of Gavin and harped on his potential for a long term. It’s fair to point out the differences we’ve seen so far. Also who is Mantis? Thanks for watching just the same.
