I was a kickboard rider as a kid up until boogie boards came out. Newport was the perfect place, the effing Black Ball was up all summer when the water warmed up, and besides keeping you ultra fit, you could get really deep on big surf with little or no consequences, just duck out the bottom. Thanks so much for your post, this brought back memories, and I'm glad to see people take alternative surfing to the next level.

Love the Rem horse on the side of the van. Great vid. We used to use Burger King trays when I was a kid. I bet these work much better.

It’s a Mini Simmons. Designed to be small (5’0”- 5’6”) but can also be made as bigger boards up to longboard length.
