YES !!!! i am a total beginner in FPV, since 3 weeks i have started to learn and practice on an simulator in accro but not easy(*). I searched for a good FPV learning and i believe i fund it !!!! Thanks , by surfing i discovered you video 2 and loved it (how to stop / slow down. The way you explain it GREAT !!!! So now i feel extremely good, i went back to this first video that confirmed my positive feeling .... Thanks so much .... Jean Luc from France 69 years old 🙂 (*) it looks me days to calm down my drone in the simulator, to down the "rates" which is the key to start, so frustrating when the quad is overreacting. Now with apprentice rates and expo, i can enjoy. I use TRYPFPV which is a great new simulator but i will go to liftoff and get your maps to train on. I am used to fly RC models and DJI assisted drones(with googles) but i have discovered this FPV world and Accro / Manual is an other world for sure, total freedom and extreme pleasure to fly. Thanks again
Awesome Jack! I'm really looking forward to the rest of your training video series. I truly believe this is what the new FPV pilot Community needs right now to help everyone to learn, grow, be safe and have fun!!!
thanks for the video. im just starting right now to fly in ACRO mode. very usefull and well explained. its not a easy start for those who never tried Acro mode.
Cool video, i think im ready to fly, about 60 hours in simulator. Installing my tracer rx today and well see what happens with my real quad. Thanks for sharing your technique.

This tutorial looks more pro than the old ones, good work! I can't wait for the rest!
Thank you Jack, I'm full of bad habits from flying toy drones and now that I'm getting started in racing quads it's hard to learn how to fly Air mode... Just got a 3inch (FullSpeed Leader 120) and really want to free style, will follow your tips religiously, eh eh... All the best
Day 1 with the simulator and feel pretty darn frustrated to say the least and been flying normal drones for past 3 years professionally....an entire new world!
I cant use the simulator I went straight for the goggles I’m on day 4 now flying fpv doing laps of my field following a path that’s to the side of it more and more precise and getting lower to the floor with every pass and managing to do flips and rolls , been through so many props and kissed the floor loads of times but what a rush . I’m taking the kids 5 aside goal out next time to work on my gaps , or lack of gaps as my first couple of runs may end up
Can you please recommend a controller to use for this, as i have bought it but my Devo 7 just does not seem to want to play . Please let me know from cheapest to best,,ty
So, my understanding is that the ground effect of FPV is similar to the safety height of helicopters for a safe return to ground level. Do I have that correct?
The problem i am having in velocidrone is the yo-yo effect where its hard for me to keep the quad level while flying and before i know it the quad is going up, down? HELP!!
Too much throttle for the Angle your quads pointed at giving you lift not speed in a forward motion , I’ve been struggling with that myself this last 4 days but getting lower for longer with every pass I make it will come just practice practice , I can roll flip get upside down out of a dive now trying to get lower and going to use an airgate to start to aim for the gap maybe that will help progress flying a little lower , well that’s how I’m doing it and it seem to be working ✌🏼✌🏼🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️😜
In short less throttle or tilt the nose in more giving you more forward motion ( proper pilots is any of this anywhere near how your supposed to learn haha)
I have two emax tinyhawks and a emax babyhawk as my first 3 proper racing quads . Can I ask , why not start in angle or horizon mode ? Wouldn’t first hovering be easier on the last 2 ?
on the DJI sim my roll is on the left stick and yaw is on the right. When I fly on lift off my roll is on my right and yaw is on the left. How do I change it so that the DJI sticks are like the ones on my Liftoff simulator
These are different controller modes. In the US most people fly mode 2 which has your cyclic (pitch/roll) on the right and your accessory (throttle/yaw) on the left. You should be able to pick your controller mode in settings.
HELP, ive watched the FPV Ac videos, download link, but cant run the hover lesson, this software has to be the most unhelpful interface i have ever seen, can some one tell me how to load the leassons into game , as i am lost
I can't hover at all. I use Liftoff with Jumper T-Lite controller, and all drones are bouncing like a backetball balls, also a slight changes in pitch/roll axis turned out in flying rapidly
I am a newbie. Someone told me that. Focusing on liffoffs too much will ruin your skills and the feeling of being real in real life. Is is correct bro. My fealing is if pratic good in sim the in reallife will be much more easier

i've been trying for the last hour to download this. can you give us a hint?

After subscribing to the ad-on via Steam I couldn't find it in the Liftoff tutorial section, where I expected it to be. After several attempts at different methods of downloading the ad-on I asked my gamer son. You'll find it in "Free Flight", "Drawing Board". Just thought I'd get this out there for the next guy.
This comment will probably never get a response but I'm frustrated. I am completely new to this world of drones. So I'm using your tutorials to know what to learn in order. every time I try to hover. The drone goes completely up and if I remove a little power it collapses. I take the throttle to the middle of the second line below and it doesn't move until I almost reach the third line. I have calibrated the controller thousands of times and I don't know what to do. pls help.
the five degrees is a really shallow angle that will help newer pilots get used to flying. When they graduate from this excersie, then they will increase the angle
Could have done with the music being much quieter as it's very distracting and over powering .... Otherwise a good video , The overly loud music let's it's down as it's a tutorial 👎
lift off is the shittest simulation ever, specially if you play it with xbox controller. I really hope FPV is not like that. Wrost frustrating experience ever. I can't basically do anything. Do you have some decent drone or setup for playing with xbox controller?

Thanks. Very useful for me coming to fpv quad from rc car
this got me really good at flying thanks!
Good information for me who just gettin into fpv.
This is what I needed. Thank you 🌞

so very nice
Awesome! Big THANKS
Please do more videos like this, good
I love fpv
That cricket pitch looks fine af tho😍😍
Watching these before deciding to buy the DJI FPV
I’m trying to learn with the DJI fpv sim and it’s so hard. Feels impossible haha
I find Simulators are harder than real life , just can’t get in with them
Thanks!!!!!!! love it!
thanks you teacher
The drone whisperer. Training on drone while using Machine learning on other dji drone.
This is very helpful. Thanks
left stick down is throttle up for you?
Is that reccomended instead of throttle up left stick up?

@@stoneddruid8457 is the simulator accurate like real flying?
@@stoneddruid8457 nice! Yeah I ordered a TinyGO and going to practice on that outside too over the simulator kind of lame.
Simulator is horrible , I watched video after video and just went for it
Great tutorial..sub u bro!

ps4
Which controller would you recommend (I will be using it with PC at first time)? Thanx in advance!
Hi Jack, where is your academy / training for new FPV pilots in Cape Town. Seen in your training tutorials which are very informative??
Great video. Thanks!
How much is a feet
Please do more videos like this give a like that he will see
These are pretty much the only videos I'll be posting going forward :) Already have another 7 of these scheduled and another 42 planned.
FPV Academy yhea thanks I'll be waiting for this!!
Is this all in acro ?
What do you think of freerider?
what the fpc cam called? looks cool

Shall we just say throttle control 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
Hey guys what I ended up doing is tightening or wratcheting the Throttle, yaw stick which now give me greater control and less yoyoing!!
When you refer to mode 2 is that a betaflight mode. I'm running raceflight. Trying to study and go to aims before I go back into the air
Are there special drones that can be used with. Fpv goggles

Putting yourself in a bigger disadvantage will increases your future ability.
Why the throttle is below the center?
Was this recorded w a drone?
How is your throttle Control setting for CC3D? Im starting, but the throttle makes my quad keep going up when It take off....
Hello,

very good tutorial and im late

How should we find 2 flags like that?!!?!
You need to buy this flags xd
How do I download the simulator?
You can download it easily from steam. It costs around 20 bucks. Maybe there are cheaper g2a keys available....
The link is a dead end
Why 5 degrees? People have been recommending me 30 degrees.
the five degrees is a really shallow angle that will help newer pilots get used to flying. When they graduate from this excersie, then they will increase the angle
This is sooooo frustrating ☹️. Trying intermediate controls in drl sim. It's seems so difficult. Teaching myself how to drive manual was easier.
driving manual is basic.

The training was not useful 😀
talking so fast
#1 thing you should NEVER do is fly within a foot or 2 of your body
Awesome lesson, really thanks.
