Yes, you can do a lot, but the truth is... Whoever's using Canva is not creating designs, theyre just drag and dropping to get a quick banner. I look forward to advertising 10 years from now :)))
AI is super expensive tho. That's the main reason a lot of company opt to Canva. I personally use Affinity for customization (much cheaper option than AI) and move all elements to Canva so a lot of non-designer people can edit things like information in flyer. I don't think it's fair to compare both as both have different purposes.
It's not only like $20/m for a student or just for the app itself no cloud it's cheaper than $70/m. Affinity is fine as well most beginners use that. thanks for sharing your opinion.
Canva is good in its own lane. However, Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator, GIMP, Affinity Photo & Designer, even MS PowerPoint are much more powerful than Canva for serious graphical work.

Adobe Illustrator has always been for professional illustrators & creative graphic artists. Canva is a quick solution to drag fonts & images for ideas or making image collages.
Yeh Canva is the go-to design tool though for most marketing teams or non desing teams in companies so you can't deny them. Adobe illustrator is still #1 for logos, patterns and identity design.
A Combo of both would be good, ha ha. The ease and intuitiveness of Canva with all of illustrator and photoshops features. I Like how Canva Is like a combo of photoshop and illustrator, don't have to switch back and forth, and I like it's magical writing AI tool. But how Canva is at the moment Adobe is still better if you are wanting to Graphic Design for a living. Tech seems to be taking off pretty fast lately, I wonder what it will be like in years to come - hopefully have AI assistants that can do all the work while I sit back and get paid, ha ha.
im a beginner for pod stuff. So firstly i wanna learn canva. Then i wanna learn Adobe illustrator:) this is my future plan. But is it true i dont know :(
Learn both Canva there isn't a learning curve it's so simple with templates its drag and drop illustrator takes long time to master but worth if you want to do custom LOGOs etc.

It's one subscription for Adobe and You get all apps secondly adobe express is the same a Canva now and it's free
Hands down adobe is the most powerful tool. I can perfect any item in adobe especially for super huge design resolution.
