When I hear this I think of my parents, and how lost I’d be without them. Every time I visit I’m reminded of the fact that they are getting older and the pain that fills me when I think of losing them🥺
I read your comment just by chance...Nothing prepares you for the moment of saying goodbye to your parents. What will hit you the hardest are all those things you didn´t say, all those questions you didnt ask...so...say, ask, kiss, hug...it will be never enough but believe me, it´ll lessen the pain and partially fill the void that becoming orphan is going to bring to your life.
I think this song is absolutely beautiful especially for those of us that struggle with depression. It makes me think about my son who struggles with rejection and depression. What a talented young man. Thank you for sharing your music with us.
This year on AGT it’s been all about second chances or a Second Song for example this gentleman and the other gentleman named Connor Johnson have proved to the judges a second chance or second song gives them the recognition they deserve
I’d like to say this song spoke to me. I was just thinking tonight of who could take care of my pets if I wasn’t here anymore. Then I heard this song. It’s like everybody hurts REM. it reminded me we all go through rough patches. Thank you 🙏
Omg This was my favorite audition ever I think you’re so talented and you deserve to win this competition of your career I can’t thank you enough you are amazing person I really appreciate your support you have with your family it’s always been so special
@@DanTUtilizerYes. Television relies on keeping your attention, in the hopes you'll stay tuned long enough to watch a few ads. That's how broadcast television makes revenue. To that end, producers will do whatever they need to do in order to make a segment interesting or controversial.
No, not really. Many comes to the audition with a song they believe would be good for the audience and the judges, a selection from the mind. And when they perform it, there will be something missing. Their heart is not there, they ”play safe”. And Simon notices it right away. And that’s why he ask if there is a second choice. And sometimes there is (the producers of the show ask the contestants to bring with them more than one song in the case the judges doesn’t like the first one, and sometimes - actually quite often - it’s not but the performer gives a chance and time to reherse a different song and comes back later. But it’s edited into one performance when it’s broadcast. So the part when they go out and reherse a different song and comes back later, is edited out for the broadcast. So it looks like they suddenly comes up with a 2nd song, but in reality it is a couple of hours or more between the first and the 2nd song. I know several that audition before lunch and then comes back inte afternoon with a new song. And when broadcast it’s edited together so it looks like one audition when it’s actually two.
I got chills from dis dude singing his OWN song I can feel the pain and the suffering and I only get the chills from singers who are really big and have a beautiful beautiful voice, he may not be hitting high notes but that’s what not needed all he was doing was telling a story beautiful plus his voice is amazing👍🏽
You who read my message: we never know each other, but I loved to send a message from a stranger and passing person. I wish you a day full of joy, happiness and happiness for your heart ❤
Good morning my friend. We may never meet but Thank you for wishing me happiness! Yes, I suppose I'm your stranger! I wish you the same for your life, much happiness.
Congrats to Our very own local SF bay area boy makes good, CAL very smart & talented Kieran Rhodes! What an excellent song composer, piano player, & singer ! This song is so good ! Thanks for sharing your talents with the world!
Glenn J. 1 second ago Even though he's a self-taught pianist/singer - we've seen many 'self-taught' singers - Average -. He'll need to start learning 'music theory', reading music, and play the finest of the Composer history of the ages -- this boy will have a Long road to trek.
Maybe somewhat scripted but still a great performance. If it wasnt he wouldnt have the second song so quick talk about it without hesitation and then say I hope it can resonate with you. But I still love it and listen to it a lot.
Can we please stop with the bullcrap fake redirects. Asking them to stop singing a song that sounded fine and then wow the audience with another song, one that honestly sounded just like the first one.
Even though he's a self-taught pianist/singer - we've seen many 'self-taught' singers - Average - especially if he's at the Berklee school. This is all an act. Simon is so phony and this kid's talent is mediocre at best. After the first few notes from him I knew he was a dud. The judges "Yes" votes were for his sob story, not his talent, which he has very little of.
Simon never said he was doing a horrible job, hence his immediate apology for the interruption. Simon just wanted to hear an original from him. And it worked out great IMO.
If it sounded the same as the first one to you, that's your opinion. To me, it's the most beautiful song I've heard in a long time and I would pay money to hear it live along with a lot of people in the comments. To be honest, I don't really care about his sob story. His voice is extraordinary to me because it feels therapeutic listening to it and he's hitting all the notes in tempo and in key. It takes talent to touch people with your art. He did that to me. Not with his sob story but with this song. I listen to its studio version daily.
less than mediocre talent. It's all an act when Simon stops a performer and asks for a different song. Their four "yes" were sympathy votes. I don't give a damn about sob stories. Everyone has problems in life, but sympathy should not trump talent. AGT is supposed to be a talent show, not a pathetic sob story theater. AGT has some awesome talent. This kid has none.
Your are tough. I see your point. However, it was a good song. Let’s see if he has any range. If he continues playing the same type of music, then I agree. Look, I don’t get Billy Ellish. To me, all her songs sound the same and are depressing. I may be older, be I feel I keep up with the times. And I grew up when the music was great and the artists had “ range”.
He got a good voice and a talent which can play piano and sing, i remember nightbird i hope she’s happy in heaven now were going to miss her angelic voice 🤍😞
So if you don’t have range, you can’t be singer? Go ahead and you write a song that resonates with whole arena of people so much that you can hear a total silence. Try to play piano and sing for the first time on a national television and do it like he did. Stop trolling from your computer when you have zero talent or guts to chase your dream like this boy is. All the sob stories on competitions like this are pushed by writers and each contestant has to sign a contract where it says that they can introduce each contestant how ever the shows wants.

This song always brings me to tears, it's so full of emotion and beautiful. Hope to hear more from this artist in the future.

is your son fat
He reminds me of Tokio Myers. You can see him feeling the music he’s playing. It’s taking him back to those memories. A genuine artist.
Agree.
🙂Have a lovely day.
I just heard this for the first time. This is beautiful. Not just the message of the song but the musicality, the chord progression is just beautiful.
Such a beautiful soul ,,, beautiful voice .. he will change people just by this song alone .
Great kid but Simon knows what needs to be done and pulls that extra talent out of these folks auditioning. Simon is great at his job!
You know, that this is all staged, right?
I’ve seen him perform live at the library in Boston and he’s absolutely incredible
he nailed it with resonating with Simon. Bravo young man! 👏

Incredibly talented.
With great personality.
I love Tokio Myers, and love Kieran Rhodes just the same.
All the best on career/life.
The next John Mayer, on the piano. Best of luck to this talented young man!

It’s a mix of Coldplay lyricism and the sound of Mumford and sons. Beautiful.

Wonderful, his tone, and his voice really have splendid combination. 👏 I love it, ❤️ 😍. Hope he will go further

Wish he played both songs.
the amount of goose bumps i got
its alot
the amount i got this
its alot
The texture of his voice remind me with Daniel Shawn (The Voice Australia 2019).
Thank you.
He is on fire 🔥.
i,must cry,WOW,thanks Kieran.
Reminds me of The Fray
that is one beautiful song
He's like the second Charlie Puth. Except Charlie got famous in a different way. Charlie Puth is a pianist and he went to Berklee too.
This kid probably went to Berkeley
If you write your own songs always sing it because they love to hear your material
WHEN is Kieran's next audition on AGT...it's been a whole month!!
He got eliminated in the next round

What is the prize?
Don’t want spam. What’s your phone number?
The ¨Bravo¨ From Sofia Vergara, was missing the ¨Manny¨ Boy, I was waiting for the Manny
John Mayer of the piano, I felt the same kind of vibe from him
I'd love to see him do a colab with Jacob Collier...

He is himself not like any other which is why he wrote the song. Now he needs help to guide him keep him from that dark spot. Howy lift him up
Male version of Regina Spektor❤❤❤
Like him...

This is not suicide silence, and I have been met with great disappointment
Je me reconnais tellement....
His cord riff in that song sounds a lot like blink-182's what's my age again
I remember they didn't put this guy through after they gave him a yes. Such a shame and wasted talent. Sometimes I don't understand their reasoning.
Sick of these singers on this show

seems fake and set up so he can play his song
why is it geared towards women and not men?
