    Just some advice on video making. Many newbees mistakenly believe a video is all about moving pictures, as in moving the camera. In reality, the less camera movement the better. We get a little "seasick" watching every single shot moving. Decide what you want to show, and then set your camera up to show it before pressing record. Most preferably on a tripod. If there is to be a pan, say left to right, do it slowly and most importantly, steadily. Wider shots illustrate a scene better. For instance, you say "this is the v-berth" but all we see is a close up of a rope. You know and can see it's the v-berth because you are there and familiar with it. We viewers are limited to what your lens shows on the TV screen. Hope this helps.

      @@sailingjoco Another tip. Show a wider view. It's hard to fix in the mind what you are highlighting in frame in relation to the rest of your boat. Also stepping back for a wider view means you don't have to move the camera nearly as often. Which should help. :) Best of Luck.

    Welcome to the world of the HR352,
    Don’t be in a rush to get rid of those bits & pieces too quickly, store them a while before you finally ditch them.
    Yes this boat belonged to the ‘sailing family’ it was really too small for them as they were a family. The 352 is a great boat for two people to live aboard though. Be patient with it, it has a few quirks, especially when going astern, take your time with it.
    It’ll give you some grief at times, but the rewards will outweigh all the hassle. You’ll be out sailing when others are heading for shelter.
    Good luck from another 352 owner.

    Great choice of boat, the HR will make for a safe and reliable home. Do your important maintenance first starting with the things that keep you above water like through hull fittings, then go for standing rigging, engine, running rigging, etc. Making it liveable inside just for the basics at first until you have the boat sea worthy to a standard you are comfortable with. Looks like your on the right track as I see your already working on the electrical system😀

    I was very sad seeing the old battery charger and charger gauge thrown over like that. Suggestion: IF you have old gear like that and it still works there are many poor folks who would be extremely grateful to be gifted items like that. Being Canadian i'm sure you know about Kijiji. I understand you are new sailors so I don't wanna sound offish, but the sailing community is ALL ABOUT Helping others less fortunate than ourselves and passing on knowledge and educating our peers. With that I'll wish you guys the best in your new lifestyle and perhaps see you on the waters someday.
    Fair Winds.
    ps. Terminology. There's great books available to add to your boat library too.
    i.e. Bathroom = Head
    Living Room = Salon
    Kitchen = Galley
    Couches = Setee
    Peace Out = Ttyl
