    A great demo with Tom Quayle’s characteristic subtle virtuosic musicianship.
    Going out on a limb here, but I predict in a few years, a team of Fender negotiators will travel to Spain to discuss a multi-million dollar business arrangement with Issac Vega. I not bought outright, the new Trem (if the dollar$ are right for Issac) will be Stamped “Fender VegaTrem,” and at first, will be available on Fender Custom Shop Strats. It’s that revolutionary, and that good. Doubters will always doubt, trolls will always troll, but I believe the Vega Trem evolution/revolution of the Stratocaster bridge will win in the end, (except for, of course, the population of vintage ‘purists’). Just thinkin’

    Late to the party as usual--frankly I was completely stunned by the installation video and then this incredible demo by Tom Quayle! Perhaps the trackers on my laptop are that good, I've been irritated lately by the lack of my ability to pull up on my Highway One Strat that I got last year. It's got the standard Strat bridge and I miss not having that ability to pull up to varying degrees like I can on my Charvel and a nice Custom partscaster with a Kahler bridge. The limiting of expression can be a drag. Bravo VegaTrem for doing this retro-fit floating trem! Also impressed with the stability of it...nice! It looks to be a ton smoother than the standard Strat bridge as well. Will have to order one soon.

    I have a US Super Vee Bladerunner tremolo on my strat, same kind of blade pivot principle, very stable and solid, it also retrofits to a standard 6-screw vintage setup without any alterations to the guitar, with the exception of the recommendation for an upgrade to the nut where necessary, Tusg by Graphtec or similar. Bladerunners are quite hard to get in Europe, I had to buy a cheap strat copy with one to get it. The VegaTrem looks like a great european counterpart.

    • @tonekilltech
      @tonekilltech 11 месяцев назад

      The Vega Trem fits both the 6 screw vintage and 2 point bridge without any modification (different models for the different types). Where it beats the Bladerunner is that the size of the bridge plate allows it to be pulled up without being stopped by the top of the body.

      No to forget there's nothing revolutionary about their design. They have basically copied the design of Super Vee BladeRunner trem. Besides that the BladeRunner offers same quality at a lower price. This trem is like a bad overpriced copy of BladeRunner.
      As of tuning stability the only trem that I've found excellent in terms of stability are the ones built by Ola Strandberg. Those headless trems look weird but are highly stable, Floyd Rose doesn't come even close to it in terms of stability. Of course they sell at a hefty price.

    Looks great, sounds cool, but from this and other videos, it looks like it suffers from the normal screw-in arm issue of having a bit of play in the arm. To be honest I got just as good results with a Goto 510 bridge in my Partscaster for a third of the price.
    Only caveat is that you MIGHT have to modify your cavity for the Gotoh to fit.

    • @VegaTrem
      @VegaTrem  3 года назад

      Precisely one of our benefits, this part is designed so that there is no slack at all. The VT1 fits perfectly without modification to standard fender stratocaster measurements. ruclips.net/video/RzXPO-aBrhI/видео.html

      @@VegaTrem thanks for the reply. I have no doubt that your trem is a great product, but a lot of feedback on these and other promo video suggests that it is far too expensive compared to your competitors.
      Your VT1 now costs over 300 Euros to the UK, including import tax - about the same price as an OFR. I can get a 2-point Gotoh 510 for 80 euros from Thomann.de, which to me plays just as good as your VT1. Until you acknowledge that you are overpriced and do something about it to make it more competitve you may struggle to boost sales. My concern is the ball ends of the strings floating around. But the locked saddles so there's no side to side movement is excellent. To say it could hold tune as well as a Floyd Rose is nearly impossible. If strings are locked at both ends and you've got a knife edge bridge, how can you top that? The zero mods to your guitar is definitely a plus with the Vega-Trem. 👍
