Just so you know this is an UNBOXING video, not an INSTALLATION or SOUND video. It's written in the title of the video! I just wanted to show off what I got and talk specs about this system. The installation video comes out this Thursday!

exhaust debates, ahhhh. you can't go wrong with HKS, you're gonna love it! i ran a jdm itr exhaust on my first eg. had to trim a lil, but factory 2.5" exhaust from 200hp na car.... sounded/performed b-e-a-utifully, along with the oe appearance. then ROARED to tanabe racing medallion. i remember it came with a sticker, noted a 50-state legal compliance.

HKS sound great, not loud or raspy, I have hks high power silent and no compliant, can't go wrong with real Jdm parts.
HKS is a badass exhaust I have one on my 00 hatch sounds great no ricer sound! Nice deep aggressive tone. 👊🏽👍🏽💪🏽
Nice! If I were to get an aftermarket exhaust for my 91 Civic I would get an HKS, they are actually the most quite one available for the EFs

My exhaust on my Ek was custom a little. It went under the rear arm too. I autoX’d the car. Big asr bar in rear and no front bar.

i have buddy club spec II and its like you said its a race car thing and plus its really really loud specially you used your civic regularly
but don't get me wrong sound so good as you pop vtec and i also have it in a 3in pipe lol

Do you plan on getting a performance N/A cam for your d16y8 with this being a track build? Just curious since you got your new exhaust with natural aspiration in mind
I would eventually like to get into building up a d-series with more performance oriented parts for keeping it naturally aspirated, yeah.
Refine Movement sounds awesome can’t wait to see that process. You should when you get that far get the d16z6 crank. From my understanding it has more oil passages and will really help for a built y8 if you do your d series engine build on the engine you have in the EG currently

Honestly if you cared about horsepower you would at least have a B20, it's perfect for the track and it has torque
Hmm....you probably should not have posted this without an installation.....it just sucks that you talked about it all videoan we saw jack shit that we truly care about an that's the sound of it and its cost.i personally believe in building your own set up over buying something expensive that does nothing at this level. I custom built setup can be tuned in a way that gives you a unique advantage over the others that just buy a fancy costly part
