No beautiful Hollywood types here!! Just ordinary high school kids making music together, and it makes a beautiful sound!!!
I asked a random girl for a dance ..during this song at an ELO concert ..slow dance with a beautiful stranger.. nice memory...great song
I've been an ELO fan since 1976. My sixteen year old son discovered ELO on his own and he loves this song. It's great to see this music has enduring appeal.
The only thing AT&T every turned me on to, was one of their jingles one year...
these guys ROCK! lead singer is GREAT, keyboard chick is great w/a fantastic smile and the drummer is KICKASS!
it's 2020 where are these kids today? Tyler get a recording contract? TALENT.
Hello, how are you?
Have you been alright through all those lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely
Lonely nights? That's what I'd say
I'd tell you everything if you'd pick up that telephone
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Hey, how ya feelin'?
Are you still the same? Don't you realise the things we did, we did
Were all for real? Not a dream
I just can't believe they've all faded out of view
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Ooh-woo-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
Doo-wop, doo-be-doo-doo-wop, doo-wah, doo-lang
Blue days, black nights, doo-wah, doo-lang
I look into the sky (the love you need ain't gonna see you through)
And I wonder why (the little things you planned ain't coming true)
Oh, oh, telephone line, give me some time
I'm living in twilight
Oh, oh, telephone line, give me some time
I'm living in twilight
Okay, so no one's answering
Well, can't you just let it ring a little longer, longer, longer? Oh
I'll just sit tight, in shadows of the night
Let it ring forevermore, oh-whoa
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Doo-wop, doo-be-doo-doo-wop, doo-wah, doo-lang
Blue days, black nights, doo-wah, doo-lang
I look into the sky (the love you need ain't gonna see you through)
And I wonder why (the little things you planned ain't coming true)
Oh, oh, telephone line, give me some time
I'm living in twilight
Oh, oh, telephone line, give me some time
I'm living in twilight
Oh, oh, telephone line, give me some time
I'm living in twilight
Oh, oh, telephone line, give me some time
I'm living in twilight
I thought this cover was impressive. Some of these kids look so young (all grown up now) and they all ready had such talent. I kind of got the impression the drummer was a little unsure of herself but she nailed it. Loved the keyboards, all of it was great.
I love when she sings like she climbs into the song
The singer is great every time.. this and Beast of burdon were amazing
i want to hear a full album with this voice
Check out Tyler's cover of David Bowie's Heroes. It was emotionally devastating.
Well done 👍
TYLER ROCKS !!!!
Tyler Thenstedt coming into her own!! Sining and strummong the guitar at the same time is a milestone!!
SINGING!! NOT sining!
I might say she is also playing that Paul Smith guitar that was made famous by Lauren Connor!!
She finally ditched that dress and got a pair of jeans and a nice shirt!!
Talented
love Taylor she is just go she can sing everything
Absolutely LOVED this. Just wonderful.
Tyler has become an amazing performer. Check out her cover of David Bowie's "Heroes" from this summer's AllStars tour. It honestly gave me goosebumps: ruclips.net/video/c-LuTq-7ZGk/видео.html
An incredible performance- gave me chills... rock on! Thank you.
SOR, is one of the best things to happen in a long time, I think the reasons are obvious.
Thought that is it sounded like off the hit record on it the 1970’s band stars!!
lead singer does good job of covering Jeff Lynne's high vocals, love it when SoR switches a puts a female on a male lead
Honestly, they have a lot more female voice students than male (in my experience), so you're going to see a lot of that on my channel.
@@MidWestConcertVideo2 My son was in SoR Charlotte, and it was the opposite. But the ones they had would knock your socks off.
@@blpadge2 I'm most familiar with a handful of locations, most in the Chicago and Kansas City areas - and the AllStars which usually have equal numbers.
Charlotte is a great location, producing quite a few AllStars.
By the way, check out Tyler's performance of _Heroes._ Tear your heart out: ruclips.net/video/c-LuTq-7ZGk/видео.html

Jeff would approve :)

Man I love this song and these guys nailed it Tyler what can I say talented beautiful and a musician to go girl
Так искренне, неподкупно нежно, с любовью. Спасибо.
Umm what's a telephone line.
I dunno that's the name of the song.
Okay.
"Phones used to be hooked up to wires? Whatever, Boomer."

Cracking 👌
Some of these that Ive discovered, draw me back occasionally, not really due to any particular reason (song, venue, performers, etc) but nevertheless, demand my revisiting. This is one of them, excellent performance by the singers/musicians/recorders/lighting/mastering. Perhaps it is the matchup of all involved ?... In any case, top 5 of the many MCV has shared
Also most sounded like a band off of the electron orchestra light band but didn’t
You have to admit, that is a pretty high bar to reach.
Should be in all schools.......the outlook of life would be so much different.....daughter picked the guitar up,and she enjoys it
ELO are from BIRMINGHAM!!
Tyler nails it. She nails every song she sings. It would be nice if we could purchase downloads. Thanks Tyler!
They are all so adorable, and beautiful and talented!
I saw ELO live in Montreal 1976 in an outdoor stadium. You guys nailed it! Well done!
Sincerity always works (provided you stay in key, which she did)... great vocal delivery.
One of her teachers especially praised her pitch.
My favorite.... MCV really captured the totality of this presentation.
Fantastic...some more please..
So good. Everyone did a great job.
I`ve been playing 50yrs. and I couldn`t do better.
Where’s the string section
Absolutely a beautiful performance Tyler nailed the vocals and the rest of the band just awesome brought tears to my eyes thank you all 😊
Wonderful. Bravo everybody 👏 🙌 👌
great performance + usual xcellent job by MCV
Thank you.
I did not know for some reason that E.L.O.is a british band till about 7 years ago, I thought they were from california go figure. their a little on the softer side, but y'all nailed it I have a live CD of them it's preety darn good . so are y'all.
If you get a chance, check out Tyler's performance of Bowie's "Heroes" with the AllStars. ruclips.net/video/c-LuTq-7ZGk/видео.html
Génial, j'adore
Absolutely wonderful performance
Tyler Thenstedt is one of my favorite performers. Did you check out the version of Heroes that she did?
MidWest Concert Video yes hero’s brought tears it was so good
An all-time favorite song of mine and the lead vocalist here does an excellent, pure and clean cover. Everyone in the band rocks! And my nephew Coltrane is always a joy to see & hear- Love it!
Very well done.
loved it
Tyler sings well
This didn't come from hands, fingers and voices. This came from hearts.
Good job.
Great cover
Beautiful!
Jeff Lynn everybody 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🤘
I saw on a rock doc that alot of artist come to Jeff lyne uh when they have a piece their working on and not sure how to complete it
Have him take a look
any body know if she has facebook or some page on you tube were I can followe her or some ting like that
AWESOME!
"Fillmore East" jersey ... nice.
Parabéns a todos os alunos que participaram dessa rica apresentação
Drumming fail 3.57 lol
That's a hell of a hair to split. What were you doing at her age? Looks like you're just playing video games at whatever age you're at. She wins.
Not a bad attempt. Mix engineer wants shooting and its badly out of time!
2 hours with this band and I'd have them sounding twenty times better. The biggest thing wrong with this band is conference. You can clearly see they are not comfortable. , as soon as the song finished they couldn't wait to get off the stage. 2 hours is all I need.
Watch some of my complete concerts to get an idea how they're usually organized. They're trying to perform a long show, between 1.5 and 2 hours, and there are complete (or nearly complete) band changes every song. So they have to keep it moving. In some AllStars shows I've literally seen drummers step in and take over the beat from the other drummer while switching seats on the drum throne.
But with more than 300 locations around the us and other countries, there is a constant need for skilled teachers, and if you think you could bring something to the program I would urge you to apply.
You aren’t aware of SoR stage practices.
