I'm looking to get sober soon myself. I went to a show of his in Detroit this year. I even picked up a couple of records. A few weeks ago, an old warrant came up when I was pulled over. I go for an interview for drug court soon. I'm 45 and haven't done time since my 20s. But I've never been truly sober. I'm down to light beer daily. The last 2 years. I beat the oxi's, the heroin, the benzo's , the vodka. I'm am on light beer now. This charge is a defining moment in my life. If drug court does not except me. I'm looking at a couple. More year in state prison. Pray for me. Shit Ben. Tell me how to handle this. Anyway, it goes. I'll take it on the chin like a man. Anyone reading this, please tell me some decent advice.

Man I found Benjamin Tod when I went down a folk music/underground country type rabbit hole that spun off my listening to Bob Dylan, to hear him cover one of the greatest folk artists of all time is perfection. I’ve listened to this song a good 20 times or so the last few weeks.
I can’t believe that you don’t have more recognition than this at this point. I think you’re one of the better country singers in the business right now.
I've loved Dylan and Baez as long as I can remember. Such a big part of my life, as your music has also in these last few years. Thanks for a great version of an awesome song ❤
Hey Benjamin all I want to say that your songs have really helped me in the last 2 years. You did amazing on this cover and keep them coming because every time you drop a new song I’m one of the first to listen. Keep up the good work and god bless✌️.
My favorite living artist. I feel literally every single word he’s ever put out. And don’t sleep on the little missus. She’s a slayer with that fiddle.
Thank you for coming to Detroit. I drove down to see you there. I even picked up a couple of records from you. I haven't added to my vinyl collection is some time.
Good to see the homie Benjamin back at it again. Check out the background. He's inspired me to play his songs. And now I will learn this one. Capo on the 5th...
That was wonderful! I have only heard that song from the 1975 Rolling Thunder Review version with Bobby and Joan Baez. I really dug this one. So much so that I will be finding the music and lyrics tomorrow (I think I have them in a Dylan songbook). I play gigs around Taiwan featuring an American vibe. I appreciate when fellow musicians introduce me to or remind me of cool songs to play. Thanks and once again, great job!
Looking good sounding even better than ever I'm proud of you an your journey is inspiring I'm also proud of my journey an hopefully i.can be inspiring to about 9 years ago when I firs heard your music I was an messed up on alcohol an drugs as anyone now I. Sober as well the only thing sure in life.os change
Great work Ben! After reading your descripton, I took a little look at "The Bootleg Series Live 1964" tracklist and saw it had two of my favorite Bob Dylan songs(Don't think Twice and The Times They Are a-Changin). Thanks for sharing! It was great to hear these song again, and in a more raw way.
Love it! Thought I remembered that Ben was making a honky-tonk record, I wonder how that's coming. It sounded cool so I hope it's coming. Hope y'all have a great year!
FYI-if you saw any of my other comments sorry in advance Lol I’m in Taylor county, local blacksmith. Technically I made you and the wife matching fixed blades 5+ years ago but couldn’t ever figure out where to send em Lol if you’ve still got a pile of burnt barn debris in the way, come spring I’ll happily help ya for free!! In exchange for alittle of the wood and some steel in the pile. Also, you gotta take these knives and do something with em haha 😂 skin a deer, cut a steak, throw em, WHATEVER!!! Lol 👍
One James Hetfield ,"Yeaaaaah!!!!," for my good friend Benjamin whom I've never met but know so well sangin' Bob Dylan how it was meant. You're looking sharp Ben, as my WWII Gear Uncle would tell me. I was a tortured soul growing up, as a young man, and as an adult until about for years ago after a great fall, my final rock bottom. It was then I had to either change how I thought, as I had been sober for 8 yrs then but was more miserable than before when opium chose my way for me. So I gave someone else the reigns for a bit until i could buy in to what they were selling, and I did. My old man reminds me of your grandpa Ben, he was a pastor I rebelled against hard against living in Appalachia, and he's the one after all was broken and done helped me start over. Four years later he's 74, losing bad to cancer and not long for this world, maybe not even the month, but bc held my head up out the water when he did I've been able to care for him and my mom who just found out the other day has a mass in her brain after recently her health went downhill fast at 72. I'm 39, feel 63 in my body, but my mind is strong again I Believe. If it weren't for my Father, a lot of Grace, and many a sleepless night your music I wouldn't have made it. So for the part you played I preciate it.
I've been listening 2 'Girl From the North Country '.... Like their interpretation of Dylan's 🎶 music. Btw ... Have U ever considered doin a cover of 'Rock Salt & Nails'? I've been listening 2 Buddy & Julie Miller's cover of the song ... Nothing more needs 2B said ... Check it out 4 yourself sometime Damn🎶 Well, I've rambled on long enuff. Take care of yourself & your Family. Wishing U All the Best in the New Year Peace🙏
Ben you look like a 20 year old kid…just so much healthier it seems. Good for you my friend
Lol he's Benjamin Button now.
