First Look: Hoka Skyflow

- Thanks for checking out our initial thoughts on the Hoka Skyflow, coming out in mid-July. This model falls into a new niche area of cushion for Hoka. It combines pieces of several popular Hoka models and blends them into this new "runners" Hoka. We are excited to get this model in the shop and we think how this shoe is positioned on the Hoka Family Tree that it will be pulled and requested by a lot of longtime Hoka fans. I have had two pairs of Mach 5’s and I was thinking about getting the Mach 6. After watching this video, I’m seriously considering the Skyflow. I wear an 11.5 US men. Does the Skyflow fit like the Mach 6? Also, I’m training for an Ultra right now. Would you take the Skyflow over the Mach 6?

Here is a question I have . How is the top for room. I have to wear insoles and I have a hard time finding shoes with enough room. And Hoka is my preference. I cannot wear Boni anymore. The Clifton barely fits my insoles. Arahi , which I love, do not allow me to wear insoles at all. I was going to try these.

Very good review other than you not trying it yet, now I was looking for this shoe a year ago and will not use the bondi cuz exactly what you said it is now the real old guy standing shoe or walking you hit it for sure, im 63 I'm nursing and injury but I prefer cushioned shoes so I can go further even if slower so at the end of the run I'm not to beat up, I hoping this is it, now I would rather run trails and i do run about half trail and half road , I tried the mach 5 in my last 21k and it wasn't good for 13 miler but for 6 miler yes but again that's me, im really thinking seriously about this shoe of not to ugly and by the way I have 2 pairs of clifton 9s and they are my go 2s, but looking for a softer midfoot or all around softer but not clown shoe(bondi). I wish more of the brands would follow Adidas. The adidas sl2s released on sale at sub 100 at their normal 130 price. Couldnt pass that up on an amazing shoe and will probably buy another pair at full price. . 160 seems a bit stiff in the market.
Does the Skyflow run narrow or wider?
You should do a store tour sometime also I was on your site going to order the new balance fresh foam more v5? They are on a bunch of other sites but I didn’t seem them on your website. Will you be getting those in?
I can't unhear that Bondi pronunciation
Asics has a similar problem with the 'split-brain' of shoe choice. Do I do the Novablast-SuperBlast-Edge Paris, or the Nimbus-Magic Speed-Sky Paris. So hard for non-elite runners to know which one to pull.
Is the rocker the same as the Clifton?
