I feel compelled to leave a comment because I watched about 10 other videos/shorts and this was the best by far. You made it so easy to follow along and understand what it was I was doing. I appreciate it, thank you!!!
Thank you! This is the best tutorial I have found online for these! And I love that you showed different ways to do the colors depending on how you arrange the ribbons prior to braiding. Just finished our daughter's for her high school graduation next week. Same colors and pattern! :)
You’re so welcome! Glad I was able to help you out 🤗 Awesome! Congratulations to your daughter! Happy Graduation! 🎓 Big hugs for taking the time to watch my video! 🫶🏼
This is a very nice tutorial. Our daughter is earning her master’s degree; her hood is yellow and blue and her gown is black. Those are the colors I chose.
I haven’t come across that happening. I always look for ribbon that’s long enough just in case that happens. So a good length of ribbon to buy would be at least 10 yards. Thanks a bunch for watching! 🤗
It's easier than it looks. You can definitely do it! Yes, you can use cord, string, small ribbon... whatever you'd like to attach money (flowers, bows, rolls, etc) and tie them onto the lei.
Hi there! I purchased these ribbons from Michael’s craft stores and they come in a roll of 10 yards. Usually that would be good enough but It depends on how long you want the lei to be as well. I always try it on myself to see if the length is good enough for the recipient. Hope this helps. If you have any other questions about the lei feel free to leave a comment 👍🏼 Thanks a bunch for watching!
Hi there! I couldn’t tell you the exact amount of time, but honestly it doesn’t take that long, just patients and a good show to watch 👍🏼 Thanks for watching! 🫶🏼

Hi! Love your videos! Would like to know, how many inches for each ribbon? I only have two spools and I have to cut 4 pieces. Thanks.
Thanks for the tutorial! Will 7/8 ribbon work with this pattern?
This is a very nice tutorial. Our daughter is earning her master’s degree; her hood is yellow and blue and her gown is black. Those are the colors I chose.
Thank you, I tried with a 1 in ribbon and it still worked great!
Probably the best tutorial I found!

Hi, is this a double ribbon lei or regular size?
What if you run out of ribbon and want to keep adding more ? Do I do a little not tied? ???
I haven’t come across that happening. I always look for ribbon that’s long enough just in case that happens. So a good length of ribbon to buy would be at least 10 yards.

This is so pretty. I think I can do this 😭 I am not crafty. Do you attach money to it?

Thank you ☺I thought it would be more complicated. 👍🏻
How many yards of each color do we need for one lei? 🤷🏻♀️

Do you sell ribbons?
A RT it
That is a stole and not a lei. A lei is like a necklace.
