I was ready to jump into the comments to defend you cuz the humor and the content is A+, but realized it was just self depreciation..... which tracks tbh.
I've watched this series 3 times cause I like it that much, and just now noticed you're wearing taupe Merrell Jungle Mocs (when you freeze frame your foot on the new workbench), my everyday shoe... maybe thats why I like it so much, good stuff man, you need another project like this!
The amount of education and brain rot in these videos have canceled each other out and now I feel dumber and smarter at the same time. But thoroughly entertained.
Thank you Thank you Thank you. I m researching to do my own jet ski rebuild and your vids are informative and the most fun to watch. Keeping playing with those tools and crank that shaft :)
If you don't know anything about them, you did very well. Common sense, and a some mechanical knowledge goes a long way. Nice work on the electrical box. Good videos. I hope you can keep the thing upright. LOL
Currently binge watching the rebuild series and laughing my ass off! Where did you find the replacement electrical parts for the MPEM? Surprised someone still makes parts for the old girl. Awesome!
Where did you get new rubber grommets and nuts for the electrical box? Also, can you hook me up with where you found those wiring diagrams and service sheets?
I got the electrical box nuts on osdparts.com. P/N 278000100. Can't remember where I got the service manual. Pretty sure I just googled "1995 SeaDoo XP shop manual". I could also email them to you if you DM me.
Those wires are hot AF. I'm gonna go open up my XPs fuse box. I hope I dont tear it up as bad as I did last time. Twirled up wires can do things u cant even imagine. I'm on it.
Hey, I need to do the exact same thing to my seadoo but the man I bought it from took the electronics apart, I have no clue where all the wires connect, do you happen to have any pictures or videos of where the wires go so I can rewire the whole electrical box?
Hello, I just bought a 95 xp 720 and it seems like it's not getting any spark. I checked the ignition coil and it seems like it's good, wondering if you have any ideas that might help me trouble shoot
Have you verified it's not getting spark? Remove the spark plugs and ground one to the engine when cranking, if you don't see a spark it may just be a bad plug.
@@reed.k.h well actually now it's a mute point, I found a form post that said to cut the wires back 1/4 from the boot and rewire, that got it running with a bit of effort. Then I cleaned out the air filter and adjusted the idle on the carb and now it starts first try cold start
Oh heck yeah! I bought a 93 or 94 XP650 model last year for $60 bucks and I just went out today and messed with it for the first time. Mine is in about the shape as yours was with the oily mess inside and they had disconnected the fuel tank and oil tank 🤬. I hooked a jumper box up to the very short battery cables and the starter motor turns but does not engage with the fly wheel. I guess that’s a start right? Lol 😂
@@reed.k.h lol well I need you to hurry up with part 4 so when I start messing with mine I know what to do 😂 I think I’m just going to send it with mine and see if I can get it running before I do any major work and staying true to my super cheap jet ski budget 😂
@@reed.k.h I did take the power washer to it today! Looks so much better on the outside now but still a oily mess inside. What did you use to clean the innards of yours?

Wanted to learn how to service my newly acquired old ski, but found entertainment instead... Now I want a new workbench...Can I get a link to what appears to be a Build-a-bench kit for basement trolls??
Sorry I couldn't help you learn to service your ski. As for the workbench, the design came straight from my noggin, so no kit unfortunately. Guess I'm letting you down left and right, oops.
@@reed.k.h Oh I did learn a lot, but I meant that can be greasy funtime too (as you have revealed). I just finished most everything fuel and electrical today (fired right up!)... Ahhh sweet seadoo rattle!... now for slowmo review of bench build to steal some Reed's noggin knowledge (you filmed the bench build so now you're two for two on the helping me up ya dink!) ... Your humor makes this solid gold

It is a legitimate shame you have so little subscribers. Your humor and editing makes me think we would be best of friends lol
Are you saying we would be better friends if I had more subscribers?
