For people that can't use their legs well due to disability, one thing he doesn't mention, is you can go throttle only, and you don't HAVE to peddle at all if you are incapable of doing so.
Hey Jon! That is correct. All of our models, including the XP Trike, come with both PAS and Throttle. This allows riders to either control the speed of the motor (PAS) or the eBike can do all the work allowing riders to enjoy their ride. 😎
@LectriceBikes I'm actually disabled, so I'm looking at getting this trike. As i can't use the pedals on a normal bike, and i can't balance very well. is there any way to replace the pedals on this with pegs that i can just rest my feet on? I'm looking for something to get around outdoors better, since I'm unable to ride a normal bike
Hey Jon! Great question. We have not yet had the chance to test out a lot of third-party accessories or upgrades at our warehouse so we don't have any personal recommendations for you, but there are definitely brands out there that fit our bikes! We would recommend reaching out to the members of our social media as these owners have excellent personal suggestions for customizing and upgrading their bikes. Please let us know if you have any other questions- we're happy to help!
that is me we just watched the video and did not realize I have to pedal the whole time as I have leg and muscle issues and cannot use a regular bike. How do I use the bike without having to pedal or will the bike move my legs for me.
Hi there! Pedaling is not necessary to ride, you can use pure throttle to get around! If your pedal cranks rotate with your wheels, your chain may be too tight and in need of adjustment.
Their customer service is is the bomb. My bike was dropped HARD. Both fenders were done. the fender pinched the tire I wasnt happy. We called and sent pics and videos, we have new tires 3 new fenders and wheels and tires coming. We have the original xps. im 67 years old with balance issues. cant wait to ride. THANK YOU LTRIC for caring for your customers.
Had problems after shipping. Adrian in service face timed me today and was able to walk me thru what I needed to do and send me additional parts needed to solve my problem.. Thank you for backing your product, I ordered another bike today for my stepmom.
Unboxed my trike, and very briefly rode it in my driveway (need to buy helmet). Worked perfectly. NO TOOLS except for scissors to cut the plastic ties.
Hey William! We always recommend and encourage riders to wear helmets when riding Lectric eBikes. As well, Helmet Wear Laws vary per state and we recommend checking them out!
Watched the video before our bikes arrived so we would be prepared. The video said we'd need all kinds of wrenches and torque wrenches. So we bought those, then they weren't needed anyhow!
Just received my XP Trike today. Am very impressed by build quality and ease is putting it together. The only obvious glitch was that the right side back fender had been bent into the tire. Sounds as if this a problem others have had. That said, we bent it enough that it wasn’t hitting the tire so that it would move. Haven’t taken it out on the road yet, tomorrow is Sunday so traffic will be better for us.
Hey there! While we are happy you've received your XP Trike, we're sorry to learn about the fender. Kindly email our team at contact@lectricebikes.com with the issue and photos and they'll be happy to get you taken cared of. Thank you!
Just got my bike today. I had the same issue, the right fender was bent and the back wheel wouldn’t spin/ turn. Called customer service and they said they would send a new fender. I can’t wait to ride!!😂
I wish they named the video unpacking, preparing, and first ride lol I would have watched it sooner :) Great company! They are so quick to respond. They are sending me a new fender as one was bent on arrival. Can’t wait to ride!
Rode 3 miles yesterday, smooth pavement in a gated community so no traffic issues. Got it upto 12mph. Very happy with my purchase. Looking forward to receiving the saddle with back rest.
I am expecting delivery soon. I watched the video. I was of the impression that it came completely assembled. Is it NOT? The video shows a detailed assembly.
Hello Yvonne. "Fully assembled" indicates that the ebike is already put together for the rider's convenience. Since we have to ship our eBikes in a folded state, it will require approximately 15 minutes to assemble. 🙌
Fenders getting pushed into the tires seems to be a common problem. It happened to me also. It was the only thing that was a problem. It took a lot of arm strength to fix it.
Hello Siobhra. We apologize for the damaged fenders on your XP Trike. Our team has enhanced the shipping process to prevent any future damages. If you haven't already, please contact us by email at contact@lectricebikes.com, and we will send you replacements. Thank you!
Just recv'd mine yesterday. I got almost all the extras on except the mirrors which seem to be quite difficult. I will check out the video on how to do that. The "first ride" video was helpful and well done as it did mention things that I did not read in the owners manual...like turning ON the battery. It's still charging and I have to buy an air pump before i can ride. I'm excited to ride my trike.
I was a bit concerned about battery theft, but I'm glad to see it locks in place. I know it won't stop a determined thief and that security is about delay, but still.
Hey there! We're stoked that your XP Trike has arrived and that the battery security feature meets your expectations. Be sure to keep us posted on your adventures. 🙌🏼
Ah, thank you for letting us know. We do offer a steel Bike Lock which allows riders to keep their ebike safe while doing a quick errand. We also encourage riders to register their eBike online and keep record of their S/N. 💪🏼
Hey Ralph! Thank you for sharing your feedback with us and we're stoked that the video was very informative for you. Shall you have any questions, please let us know. 😃
May 17, 2023 About 1:30 pm Wish I knew about this video. I cut up the box in 2 hours! Rest was easy. Left rear fender was bent. Local bike shop fixed. First week was awesome! Love this trike!
One week of adventures down, so many to go! Thanks for checking out our RUclips, we hope to continue providing value to our riders through these informative vids 🎥
Hello from Switzerland. Kellan well presented unboxing video. It did contribute to my decision to purchase the XP TRIKE. I too look forward to receiving this machine from far away Phoenix. Not an easy task to get it into my country and hope that LECTRIC will not let me down with a bike suffering of teething trouble I cannot resolve myself using Swiss engineering skills. 0:1. Have a nice day. Jack 0:11
On my way out the door on an errand one afternoon I nearly walked right into a large brown box and I knew exactly what it was. I called a friend and within 10 minutes thanks to your unpacking video there stood my beautiful trike in perfect condition, from headlight to tail light. You said it would ship in May and yes it did thank, you. I put 20 miles on it and she did great. An issue although, the premium XP™ Comfort Package Seat Post to stiff needs softening. Question how do I do it and do I need a special tool? Thank you for a great product.
The trike seems to be very well built. 3 areas of concern for us, (over 80) are the suspension of the seat, a pneumatic cylinder seat post would help. The back rest to slide back and forth is more important than up and down for us also. The recommended tension of the clamp to lock the seat post "an imprint on the hand" not practical for many persons over 80. The clamp to lock the post, at least on our 2 new trikes ends up too close to the battery to get fingers behind to open. Rotated half a turn would help immensely. A very positive feature is the white sidewall tires being reflective at night. Would the 31.6 diameter pneumatic seat post work ?
Hello Ben! Thank you so much for sharing your feedback with us. We really appreciate it because it helps us better understand the needs of our riders and allows us to make improvements to our products. Rest assured, we will pass this valuable information on to our superiors. Thanks once again!
@@LectriceBikes FedEx has updated the delivery date until tomorrow which is good because I have stuff I need to do before it gets here, stuff I should have done yesterday! 😂
@@JimmyYuma7 don't leave us hanging! Did it come in? Didja get a chance to ride yet? What are your initial thoughts? I want to live vicariously through you!! 🤣
Hi Anthony, in this case, your package is likely waiting to be received and processed by the carrier, FedEx. Please allow up to 10 business days for this next step in the shipping process!
Glad to see some are getting their tikes. Have not received anything about shipping of mine even with me placing an order within an hour after opening the site for orders. I've given up on it even getting here.
Hey Donald. For a better and precise shipping update on your order, please contact our Customer Service team at 602.715.0907 M - F from 9am to 5pm MST or email us at contact@lectricebikes.com. Thank you.
That's a nice tip to share! Yes, we recommend wiping the brake rotor down if you want to keep the system maintained well. Thanks for saving for one of our trikes!
thanks for the video, feel much more confident. Now i know i need rubbing alcohol and a bunch of Allen wrenches and sprocket set! i am on it, thanks again.
Hey Ben! We do offer the Comfort Package and Support Seat to offer a more comfortable ride. Be sure to check them out here: lectricebikes.com/collections/accessories
@@LectriceBikes it's back comfort not butt comfort that is most important to me and maybe others. Pneumatic cylinder in the seat post make sense, Try bouncing on your trike seat then try any cheap pneumatic office chair.
I Love My Trike!!! I had Every Problem That Could be Had!!!......Customer Service Stayed with me as I replaced Lots of Parts and Accessory parts..... All Related to Delivery//// NOW, I know my Trike and would buy another!!! It Is A GREAT Product from a Great Small USA Co. I Recommend This TRIKE Over Trikes that cost 100% more. I am headed to Fl. and I am sure People will ask me about my Tike and I will Happily recommend Lectric Bikes... Thank You All for Your Pride and Hard work to your Outstanding Product!!! Barb Robison from Va.
One thing that is unclear - turning things on. You mention turning on the battery and then turning on the display. When you arrive at your destination, do you turn off the battery? I'm trying out a friends for a few days to see your XP Trike will work for me. Thanks!
looking forward to the ride! for a “fully assembled” trike, it needs a LOT of work before getting it going. we’ve been at it for over an hour already, and we are not close to being able to ride. the co also assumes that the rider owns a full complement of tools. guess again!
Hey there! While the bike is shipped assembled, riders are still required to do some type of adjustments to get your ebike ready for the first ride. We also offer tools here for riders: lectricebikes.com/products/tool-kit?_pos=1&_psq=tool&_ss=e&_v=1.0
day 2 - we ordered a bike pump from amazon. two wheels filled fine, to 30. the 3rd wheel literally blew up. we have to find a way to get it to the bike repair shop…but even folded, it does not fit in our car. ever riding it seems more and more unlikely…
@@LectriceBikes i appreciate the quick feedback. i did order the tool kit. i still don’t know what we’re going to do about the tire. hoping to borrow a van. and hoping a bike shop has the correct tire…
Got my bike today and the back fenders are bent so I can't even move the bike. It's too late to contact support tonight but I'll call tomorrow. Excited to give it a ride so hopefully it'll be corrected soon. Unboxing wasn't too bad. Getting the latch to lock it after unfolding was pretty tough, hubby had to do it, same with pulling up the handle bar stem. Thank you for the video, it definitely makes it easier. Is there a video on how to install the front bar and basket?
Hey Debbie! We're sorry to learn about the damages to your XP Trike. Please do reach out to our Customer Service team and they will be sure to get you taken cared of. As well, here is the instructions to install your new Cargo Bundle: FRONT RACK Follow along using this guide: 1. Remove the headlight using a 5mm allen wrench; the fender will subsequently detach. Reconnect the fender using the screw and washer that previously secured the headlight. Then unplug the cable connectors. 2. Before installing the rack, attach the headlight to the rack by turning it upside down and attaching it to the insertion hole located at the front/bottom of the rack. Then use a 5mm allen wrench to fasten the headlight with the screw and washer. 3. Install the cable connector extension cord to the quick plug located on the headlight. Be sure to use your zip ties to fasten the extension cord to the outward-facing loops that are built into the frame. 4. Then install the front rack above the front tire. Use the hook, located above the screw holes on the front rack, to secure the wiring harness so that the wiring harness does not interfere with any turning movements. 5. Use a 5mm allen wrench to install the screws/washers to the mounting points located at the front of the bike. 6. Install the cable connector extension cord so that it runs through the middle of the suspension fork. Then connect the other quick plugs and you'll be ready to ride! SMALL AND LARGE BASKET Written instructions are below: Small Basket Installation: Place the front basket above the front rack while aligning the screw holes above the insertion points of the front rack. Use a 4mm allen wrench to fasten the screws/washers so that the front basket attaches to the front rack. Baskets are interchangeable with front and rear racks. Large Basket Installation: Place the rear basket above the rear rack and align the screw holes to the insertion points of the rear rack. The basket may be placed perpendicular or parallel to the rear rack, depending on personal preference. Use a 4mm allen wrench to fasten the screws/washers, connecting the rear basket to the rear rack. If you come across any questions, please reach out to our team. Thank you.
I received my e-trike on Wednesday, my rear fenders are also both bent and preventing the rear wheels from moving. I sent an email to customer support with photos. Awaiting response.
I watched the FedEx guy deliver it on my Ring cam. I think when they tip it onto the dolly the whole bike shifts to the back and then the fenders get scrunched against the box. Those small pieces of cardboard over the fender actually bend it.. at least that's my guess. I spoke with Customer Service today and they are sending new fenders (I sent photos per her request). Had to wait awhile on the phone but rather that than sit guessing on an email response. I have to say installing the front basket was a CHORE! The hex nut was very difficult to remove for the headlight! Took me about an hour to install it. Not nearly as easy as the video made it look. Getting better hex wrench's in hopes of replacing fenders not being so difficult! Still all in all, for the price happy with my bike and the customer service.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us and the Lectric community! We are glad we could connect with you on the next steps to help get this issue resolved. We will pass along your feedback on the other parts as well, have a great rest of your day!
I am saving to get one of these and I wanted yours because I live right up the road between Wittmann and Wickenburg. I keep having emergency expenses though. :( My cat got sick and that was almost $1000. Now my hot water heater ruptured and I don't even have enough saved to get one. Thank you for the videos and stuff though. I can't walk very far because of having osteomyelitis in my spine in 2022. I have a question though. I don't have any torque wrenches and if I did I don't know anything about tools. How much is it to get it 100 percent together? I can get my friend to pick it up with his pickup. I can do that, right?
Hello, I received the trike, I bought for my wife. It was all good until I unboxed it. Both rear fenders were bent inwards. The reflector on the left fender was bashed in (the metal behind it bent it) must have taken a hard blow to bend the heavy metal. I am surprised and disappointed that Lectric does not inspect its product closer before shipping it to the end customer. Tried calling the number, after going through a couple steps it tells 1 hour wat (tried it a few times same answer). I emailed them, got an automated response saying they will get back with me soon. Nothing so far (3 days and counting).... I hope they come through soon.
Hey there! Sorry to hear about the shipping damage your bike received. Quality is our first priority to ensure our customers have an excellent riding experience. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. Thank you for your continued patience! We hope to get you riding soon. Feel free to DM us with your name, number, and order number.
Yikes - did not know I would need all these tools that I do not own! Please advise customers, somehow, somewhere, to WATCH THIS VIDEO when the gigantic box arrives in order to find out all that stuff. Using my intuition, I wrestled with the damn box, got the bike set up and removed all the yellow tags, and then found the video. It would have taken me half the time if I'd seen the video first. It's excellent. It appears that others have also noticed that the back fenders are misaligned and rub on the wheels. And it looks like most did what I am about to do - try to bend them into the right position. Maybe this is a flaw in your packing? All that said, I can't wait to get out and ride!!!!
First off, why don't you email this video prior to the trike arriving? I spent quite a bit of time pulling out all the staples on that dang box!!! And I will not be able to do the assembly - so pretty bummed at this point. Now I have to find someone willing to do it in SW Wisc. Then I got the Tag Along Doggy Trailer that will need to be assembled. Gads am questioning why I even got this at the moment:(
I just ordered mine a few days ago. I had a stroke so hoping this gives me some freedom but as I've seen in a comment before I cannot pedal. How do i operate in throttle only ? what setting do I need to have it in ?
Mr. Miller could you please post a video of you on your trike and let us know how you like it. I have a Schwinn Meridian electric bike that I love but we camp and you can't fold it up to get into RV. Lectric trike you can. Will be curious how you like it. Another worry is that there is not a warranty. Thanks.
Hi Cathy, all of our eBikes, including our XP Trike, come with a 1-year limited warranty that is supported by our dedicated team of customer service representatives.
DID you see where Lectric quietly changed the expected date to JUNE? Been waiting for weeks, missing prime summer'/ spring riding weather.. my Dad is hot.
Hi there, that shipping date is for new customers only - if you preordered when a different shipping date was indicated that is when you can expect to get your tracking info! ⚡️
So wait, if you are in any PAS mode the pedals go continuously?? I have a 2 wheel ebike(different brand) and my pas only help when I pedal. Is this different on trikes? Also, are there gears to adjust the pedal difficulty in 0 Pas?
Wish I'd know about all of the tools required. I'm not sure I'll have them all. (How do I know when the proper torque is attained?) I'm really looking forward to getting my new trike out for an outing. Set up seems overwhelming.
Same here...the parking brake lever won't engage. When I pull the brake Iever I can see that the parking brake lock can't physical fit past the brake handle...so it can't lock.
Hey there! Sorry to hear about your parking brake not working. I think to better assist the situation you can send a message to our customer care team contact@lectricebikes.com they will be more than happy to assist your issue. please be sure to include pictures and order number as well, its always helpful! So I am trying to replace one of the rear wheels that was damaged in transit I’ve taken the bolt out of the wheel but cannot get the wheel off . Is there something else holding the wheel in place ?
HELP!!! The back fender of my trike is so BENT it is not even covering the tire! It is literally cutting into the tire! And the other back fender is not straight either! It cannot be ridden! What a disappointment!

Mine is setting on my enclosed porch have to wait for some help. Watching the fedx guy roll the box end over end has me concerned, guess ill find out when i open it up.
Hey there! We're sorry to hear about how the delivery went. If any damages did occur, please send an email to contact@lectricebikes.com outlining the damages and they'll be more than happy to help resolve this for you. Thank you so much!
The video indicates you need several tools to unpack and prepare the trike for use but the box says no tools needed for setup. How come there is such a difference?
Hey Debbie! The tools will be needed to remove the shipping products and just to make sure all bolts/screws are properly tightened before your first ride. ⚡️
I've ridden the trike a little bit. I live on a street with gradual but steady hills. Last night I took the battery off and brought it in from the garage because the night temperature is about 87 degrees. The next morning, the battery would not go back on its slide mount. It stops short of the key turned latch by about 2". What's the trick to sliding the battery down those last 2-inches?
Hey there, thanks for the comment! It is hard to comment without a photo of your trike, but it might take some fiddling with it to get it drop-in aligned and ready to ride! Like with all new tech, it can take some time for the mechanics, but if you need any extra support please reach out to our team with photos! 💙
My trike arrived yesterday. My brothers, who both hav electric bikes, will be coming to help me tighten everything up. Where is the page to register bike?
Hi Judi! We're stoked your Trike has arrived. To register your eBike, you will need the bike's serial number. The serial number is engraved on the headset of the bike, right above the front light. You can also find the serial number on the shipment label of the bikes' box. There are many online websites that allow you to register your ebike! We recommend Bike Index: bikeindex.org/ Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns, we would be happy to help!
You'll have to remove the light first, but it'll mount to the front rack once you're done! There is another service center video on how to install your cargo Package: ruclips.net/video/noK_t9rgXIw/видео.html
The parking brake on my new Lectric XP Trike won't engage. When I pull on the brake levers and then pull the parking brake lever, it won't engage. The levers would engage if I could pull the brake levers in a bit more, but I'm pulling them as forcefully as I can. Any way to fix this (or adjust the brake so I can pull it in a little further)?
Hey Thomas, we're so sorry to hear your parking brake hasn't been working as expected. Please feel free to contact our customer care team contact@lectricebikes.com. They should be able to help your issue. Also be sure to include your order number as well as any pictures showing the brake issue. We really hope this gets fixed soon and gets you back on the road as soon as possible. Hope you have a great day! ⚡️😊
I was so excited for my trike. This video just got me more excited. Great video. Mine arrived Tuesday. However during unpacking I found both rear fenders bent. Customer Servive suggested I try bending them straight. 😒 I did best I could then went to roll it around to test. Now I find one of the rear wheels is out of align and wobbles and scrapes. My XP 2.0 was rideable right out of the box, but boy the trike sure isn’t. Disappointed I can’t ride it yet.
Hi Rick, thanks for the compliment on the video and for bringing your shipping damage to our attention. We thank you for your continued support and patience as we resolve these issues and get you back on the road!
When I wrote the comment above I wrote out of frustration and disappointment. I was so looking forward to riding the trike, I still am. But please let me add I am wholeheartedly a fan and champion for Lectric Bikes. Their customer service is top notch and always responsive. Lectric is doing everything to help me getting on the road. There is no other ebike company out there I’ll support. Thank you Lectric, still the best. 👍🏻😁
We appreciate you, Rick! Thanks for sticking with us through thick and thin, we know you're going to love the Trike once you're able to ride. Hi I have a question I was i riding my trike and my dad noticed my bike left wheel was wobbling and the trike has a differential what do you think would cause the wobble wheel and I received a new wheel from you do you think that would fix the problem

Really an excellent product! My father in law bought one, but he was not able to ride it at all. So, we have to sell a brand new trike with no miles on it. Anyone interested?
My trike is headed my way and I'm so excited. I'm moving to a small town and I'm going to be a biking babe while I check out every road, shop, restaurant, park and tourist attraction.

We want to get you back on the road as soon as possible so let us know what more we can do to help. Hope you have a good day today! 😊
Hey there! Your warranty is active from the date of delivery. However, it's always a good idea to register your XP with Bike Index (bikeindex.org) in case it ever gets lost or stolen. Alternatively, you can check the shipment label on the box of your new bike. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
Got it today and pretty fast to put it together, the only thing is after putting the front basket I could not put the light in front of the basket because the power cord was too short even though it included an extra cord but unless you have to cut the outer wrap if not I don't know how to put it on? Anyone can help me with this problem?
Hi Lou, unfortunately this is the first we've heard of this issue and it would be best for you to reach out to our customer service team for next steps 💙
@@LectriceBikes In order to put the light in front of the basket, I have to unwrap the outer plastic shield, but I got it now, love the XP trike, Thanks for bringing the good product.

I found seeing the seat height a nightmare. It's very hard to get it tight enough that it doesn't push down when I get on. Seems a bolt and hole system would've been better. I finally had to hammer the little out locking arm down I tried and tried with all my light to push it but I couldn't do it. And if I lessened the screw any then it wouldn't hold when I went to sit on it. I'm 190lb., I don't see how someone that weighs 330 would be able to keep that seat from going down.

Hi David! We're thrilled that you're loving your XP Trike and we can't wait to hear all about your adventures. 🤩
I'm looking for something to get around outdoors better, since I'm unable to ride a normal bike

that is me we just watched the video and did not realize I have to pedal the whole time as I have leg and muscle issues and cannot use a regular bike.
😢😢
Unboxed my trike, and very briefly rode it in my driveway (need to buy helmet). Worked perfectly. NO TOOLS except for scissors to cut the plastic ties.
Let's go! Sounds like a great first ride and we can't wait to see the rest! 🤩
Need to buy helmet? Really?
Hey William! We always recommend and encourage riders to wear helmets when riding Lectric eBikes. As well, Helmet Wear Laws vary per state and we recommend checking them out!
Watched the video before our bikes arrived so we would be prepared. The video said we'd need all kinds of wrenches and torque wrenches. So we bought those, then they weren't needed anyhow!
Those wrenches will be great to have throughout your time as an owner and we're glad the unboxing experience was even easier!
I wish they named the video unpacking, preparing, and first ride lol
I would have watched it sooner :)
Great company!
Hey there! Thank you for your support and we're stoked you're enjoying your eBike! Be sure to keep us posted on your adventures.
Did you just bend until you corrected it. With my luck I'll snap it off or break it...then what?
I just sat and looked at it until I saw how it was bent. Then it was pull on one end and push on the front of the fender.@@beckyjustice-ns4oj
Hello Siobhra. We apologize for the damaged fenders on your XP Trike. Our team has enhanced the shipping process to prevent any future damages. If you haven't already, please contact us by email at contact@lectricebikes.com, and we will send you replacements. Thank you!
@@beckyjustice-ns4oj I took a chance and just used brute force to put the fender in its correct position. No problems since.
@JL-tc3pf mine too - delivered 5.21.24
I don’t foresee (yet) a circumstance in which I would be away from my bike due to my mobility limitations from Parkinson’s (no tremor).
Hey there! We're stoked that your XP Trike has arrived and that the battery security feature meets your expectations. Be sure to keep us posted on your adventures. 🙌🏼

Uh, not yet, I was referring to the vide, just doing my homework before I actually order. I don't have the money just yet.
Ah, thank you for letting us know. We do offer a steel Bike Lock which allows riders to keep their ebike safe while doing a quick errand. We also encourage riders to register their eBike online and keep record of their S/N. 💪🏼

Excellent presentation, as long as someone paid attention to all your great information, they should be well informed about their new bike.

Wish I knew about this video.
Wonderfully done! Looking forward to getting my trike!
Thank you Lynn! We can't wait for it to be with you either.
Just ordered my trike and I am so excited to receive it! I can give up my mobility trike and look like a normal person 😊
You're going to look and feel fantastic riding Lectric! 🙏

Hey Jack! Thank you for trusting us with your support. We look forward to serving you and getting you on the road soon. 🙌🏼
My trike showed up today! Unboxing it now and cutting off all the foam! Very exciting!

One person said to clean the breaks before testing so the pads dont get contaminated. Saving for our first XP trike.
That's a nice tip to share! Yes, we recommend wiping the brake rotor down if you want to keep the system maintained well. Thanks for saving for one of our trikes!

How do I adjust both back fenders on my trike so they don’t rub on the tires? Thank you!!

It seems like cleaning the brake rotors should come before inspecting/squeezing the brakes to prevent possible contamination to the pads.
One thing that is unclear - turning things on. You mention turning on the battery and then turning on the display. When you arrive at your destination, do you turn off the battery? I'm trying out a friends for a few days to see your XP Trike will work for me. Thanks!
Hi Jim, that is accurate. Make sure to switch off the battery once you've reached your destination.
looking forward to the ride! for a “fully assembled” trike, it needs a LOT of work before getting it going. we’ve been at it for over an hour already, and we are not close to being able to ride. the co also assumes that the rider owns a full complement of tools. guess again!
As well, here is the instructions to install your new Cargo Bundle:
FRONT RACK
Follow along using this guide:
SMALL AND LARGE BASKET
Written instructions are below:
Small Basket Installation:
Place the front basket above the front rack while aligning the screw holes above the insertion points of the front rack.
Use a 4mm allen wrench to fasten the screws/washers so that the front basket attaches to the front rack.
Baskets are interchangeable with front and rear racks.
Large Basket Installation:
Place the rear basket above the rear rack and align the screw holes to the insertion points of the rear rack.
Hi Salvadore, we are sorry to hear about this shipping damage and look forward to getting back to you as soon as possible 🙌
Do you have to push the button on the battery to get the display to work? How do you start the bike?

Awesome, thorough video!
Thank you! We're glad you liked the video!
What bike rack and lock is best for hauling?
I would like to know that too, it is too large to fit into any large SUVs
Counting the hours till the trike comes Friday. Thank you Lectric! A quality bike at a great price,

(How do I know when the proper torque is attained?)
I'm really looking forward to getting my new trike out for an outing. Set up seems overwhelming.
Just saw, it's arriving tomorrow~~~🤩
Does the battery have to be removed in order to charge if? I did it with the battery still attached/mounter.
I haven't been able to get my parking brake to work. Is there a trick to it? Or should I report this to lectric customer service?

I've ridden the trike a little bit. I live on a street with gradual but steady hills. Last night I took the battery off and brought it in from the garage because the night temperature is about 87 degrees. The next morning, the battery would not go back on its slide mount. It stops short of the key turned latch by about 2". What's the trick to sliding the battery down those last 2-inches?

Fenders pushed in when delivered. Brake light keeps falling off.
Mines worked for 2 weeks only still brand new won't turn on
Been on hold now for 15 minutes, IVR hold time said 1 hour. how's that for service?
Hi Blaise, sorry we're a bit busy with our Trike launch! If you send us a DM via Facebook or Instagram, we should be able to assist you via chat.
Would help to REMIND the shipping company to READ the direction on how to Handle the package. Mine was delivered on ITS SIDE n had a puncture! Fenders slightly bent. Still a nice bike
Hi Laurel, we're so sorry to hear about this! We do our best to package our eBikes and Trikes well, because a lot can happen in transit!
My fender was bent also. Not rideable until it can be fixed. Said I may have to wait two days for and answer from e-mail.
Thank you for contacting us! Our team is currently dealing with a higher number of inquiries due to our new ebike release and Black Friday promo, which has caused a delay in our response time. Please be assured that our team will reply to you as soon as possible.
When the breaks touch the handle bars how should I adjust them add brake fluid
Hi there, you'll want to squeeze the brakes a few times, this will allow more fluid to "pump" into the brakes and increase resistance. If there is no noticeable difference after about 30 seconds of doing this, please contact our team for the next steps! 🛠
Ok
Hi I have a question I was i riding my trike and my dad noticed my bike left wheel was wobbling and the trike has a differential what do you think would cause the wobble wheel and I received a new wheel from you do you think that would fix the problem
Hey Jacob. Thank you for reaching out and we're sorry about the inconvenience. Please reach out to our team at contact@lectricebikes.com as we would love to further look into the issue and get this resolved.

I wanna buy the Trike handlebars for the XP lite I couldn’t find them on the Lectric website?
Hi there! We do not offer the XP Trike handlebar for sale. ⚡️
@@LectriceBikes thanks 🙏🏾
I want one with fat tires if that's possible ?
Hey there! The XP Trike is only available with 20" x 2.6" tires! Sorry about that.
Is coasting possible?
Hi David. The XP Trike does have Cruise Control. ⚡️
@@LectriceBikes patiently waiting for mine.
Really an excellent product! My father in law bought one, but he was not able to ride it at all. So, we have to sell a brand new trike with no miles on it. Anyone interested?
Yes where are you located
Thanks
You got it, Rebecca.
I can't get the Stem to move. It's there something I have to push
It does have a latch/collar that has to be released prior to the stem being adjusted up or down past the minimum insertion point.
My trike is headed my way and I'm so excited. I'm moving to a small town and I'm going to be a biking babe while I check out every road, shop, restaurant, park and tourist attraction.
Thank you for your support! We look forward to getting you on the road soon.
I cant install the battery
Oh no! We're sorry to hear that If possible would you be able to reach out to this email contact@lectricebikes.com and let us know your order number and if you can include pictures that would be so helpful. We want to get you back on the road as soon as possible so let us know what more we can do to help. Hope you have a good day today! 😊
where do you register your bike for the warranty?
Hey there! Your warranty is active from the date of delivery. However, it's always a good idea to register your XP with Bike Index (bikeindex.org) in case it ever gets lost or stolen. To register, you'll need the bike's serial number. You can find it engraved on the headset of the bike, right above the front light. Alternatively, you can check the shipment label on the box of your new bike. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
Thank you@@LectriceBikes
You're welcome! 🤩
Thanks for having faith in our product enough to purchase and ride! Have fun with the new Trike! 🙏🚲
Would that box fit thru the front door of a house? Or what is the width of the box?
Hey William! Here are the measurements on the XP Trike box: 79 (L) x 101.6 (W) x 79 (H) and these measurements are in CM. ⚡️
@@LectriceBikes man! That was a fast reply. Lol. And really helpful. I thank you much.
Thank you much. Have a great week also.
That's why we're here! Thank you William and have a stellar week as well. 😌
Mine fit thru the 36" front door to my home.
Is there a weight limit on the bike?
Hey there. The XP Trike does have a weight capacity of 415lbs. Never exceed the payload capacity. Distribute weight within the guidelines: Max Rider weight 330lbs, Max Front Basket Weight 35lbs, Max Rear Basket Weight 75lbs. Let us know if you have any questions.
I thought it came fully assembled?
That is correct, it ships fully assembled! ⚡️
Q. Would you ever relocate the battery or make it so that the key isn't under the bike?
My trike arrived with bent fender and will will not turn.😮💨
Hey Liz! We're sorry to learn about this. Please email our team at contact@lectricebikes.com and we will get you all taken cared of. Thank you!
Oh looks good me wife will like that!

Somehow I got my battery to go down where it belongs. Until I find out how I did it I'll be charging it on the frame. That was a gimme...
Setting, not seeing
