@@McBreezyCTF After what they did with Boba Fett, honestly don't have any faith the Andor series will be any good. Disney can't not make it fluffy, and it's a tremendous disservice to both the content and their older fans.
Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru have always been criminally underrated imo…most of us met them in Episode IV and then a few minutes later…bam…crisps. Hope they’re well developed in this series.
They are barely characters I doubt casual fans of Star Wars who don’t consume all of it even know there names I hope they get some character development
that's because they are literally transferred plot devices from the John Wayne film "The Searchers", as is the Anakin searching for Shmi scene. Scar's camp and the Tusken camp are practically identical
If they have built an entire two-seasons show (and more Mandalorian seasons in progress) in barely characters, they won't even care about these side characters.
For me since childhood and Phantom Menace Obi-Wan felt like the main character who should have more story and advanced story between movies. I've been watching the fight between Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon vs Darth Maul more than 100 times and Duel of the Fates was hitting hard every time. Now it felt like catharsis
I used to think the Obi-Wan & Qui-Gon vs Darth Maul fight was really cool, but then someone pointed me to a YT video called "Star Wars: The (Totally) Phantom Menace" by FirstManOnTheSpoon, that goes in detail to how *badly* choreographed it is. So many missed openings, that fight should've ended in just a few minutes. It's a "Hollywood movie fight", it's showy while very much not practical -- that is, not how a real lightsaber fight would happen.
Between seeing Ewan back as Obi Wan, the music, the visuals.. hearing Vaders breathing, and it actually meaning something. Chills. Tears. Still shaking.
Always felt Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan was one of the absolute best character portrayals in the Star Wars trilogies. I sense great potential for this to be a fantastic series.

For the first time in this franchise's history, three of its most iconic songs have been combined into one. Duel of the Fates, Battle of the Heroes and Anakin's Dark Deeds, unified as one, completes Vader's fall, and introduces us to Obi Wan's long pain of guilt. It is such an beautiful combination of music it is. A surprise to be sure but a welcome one.

@@gatheringparty239 I would imagine a lot of the music from the prequels will be making themselves known, gotta get that nostalgia for all the millennials
I could see John coming back to do some new themes. But, he'll probably just provide some compositions and the showrunners will take that from there. Otherwise, I feel like John is getting old and probably wants to slow down.
Fun fact: Kid Luke is also played by Mark Hamill. Using CGI and deep fake technology, they were able to superimpose childhood pictures of him onto a CGI model of a child.
It was a cool moment. Its interesting think Luke would see this old man in the distance intently staring at him many times growing up. Kinda freaky too
SPOILERS Just finished the series, it had its ups and downs but the final battle between Obi-Wan and Darth Vader had me forget all the downs. It was truly a masterful take on their character arcs, especially Obi-Wan's. I'm thankful for this series because it got me into Star Wars for real, more than the sequels ever had. Ewan and Hayden's acting really carried the show and captured me. I hope to see them in more Star Wars media!
This is probably the last time we'll be seeing Ewan and Hayden as their respective characters. I honestly cannot wait but at the same time don't want it to be over

After The Mandalorian and even more after The Books of Boba Fett, my hopes are SO low. Everybody said TBOBF was going to be the best thing ever and we all know how it turned out. But who knows, at the same time many people like The Mandalorian.
GREAT to hear Ewan again, and I'm really excited about Hayden not only making his return to the franchise (where people will give him respect), AND to live it up in the Vader portion of Anakin's life!
For the Prequel Generation of Star Wars fans, this is our Episode 7. I couldn't be more excited and happy to be a Star Wars fan, today is a wonderful day. I'm praying that we see Natalie Portman in a flashback scene - that will be the true Prequel reunion for us Prequel generation of fans.

One of my main hopes is that the show starts out with the famous “This is master obi-wan Kenobi. I regret to report that both our Jedi order and the republic have fallen…” in Ewan McGregors voice
Obi wan is my favourite character. He’s everything I aspire to be. He’s the true hero of Star Wars, he went through so much and still stayed true to himself
Let's be real, I think the Inquisitors would have lost to Obi Wan easily in a serious fight unless he's holding back (Since they're pretty new at this place point)
@@recitationtohear That is an issue with Obi Wan - he's such a master of lightsaber combat that nobody stands a chance. Remember when Darth Maul came looking for him after all that time? They played it right though. Kenobi would absolutely trash any Inquisitor. Maybe if Vader comes knocking....
Reminds me of music in the the World of Warcraft cinematic trailer. Also sounds epic as hell. The song is called World Of Warcraft - Seasons Of War and I mean the part that starts at 0:35.

The nostalgia for us who are now adults and grew up with Ewan and Hayden as our heroes. Honestly can't wait this is what I've been looking forward too the most
I'm willing to wager that Cal Kestis will appear or be mentioned in some way. I can imagine that he will be teased at the very end and thus either a live-action series will be made of him, or a 2nd part Jedi Fallen will be announced.
The inquisitors won't be on Obi Wans level though unless they nerf Obi Wan they shouldn't be much of a threat. Cal isn't well trained at all so of course they're more of a threat to him

They are barely characters I doubt casual fans of Star Wars who don’t consume all of it even know there names I hope they get some character development

For me since childhood and Phantom Menace Obi-Wan felt like the main character who should have more story and advanced story between movies.
