I’ve got the i8, none of the three remotes are mine, super expensive bed for a extremely shitty customer experience! Can’t get anyone on the line to help and left to RUclips videos that don’t help. Nice job. Buy a different bed folks.
And 1 yr after you I still can't get it . They sent me a pump and said it was compatible. I got the pump working now my bed doesn't move.sucks.@@edo-j1784
I purchased my bed in 2005 and it has been basically trouble free until the air pump remote failed. The old remote had a display which was not reading properly. I was informed that the original remote was no longer manufactured so I would have to get a new upgraded pump along with the new remote. Following the instructions on this video was difficult for me. I identified my new remote as the second one described (advanced duel air). Why is this setup video so short? It runs from 1:18 to 1:47 which is only 29 seconds. This portion of the video should instruct the viewer to select, “No,” when prompted, “Is this a new or replacement remote?” The question above is vague and misleading as I reasoned that I was certainly installing a remote which was new and it was a replacement for an obsolete model. Entering, “Yes,” led me down the wrong prompt path which resulted in a series of sync failures. After about an hour - with limited options left - I decided to enter, “No,” and all went smoothly from that point on. The binding was, at last, successful! Do you agree with my assessment that this should have been included in the video? The universal remote instructions are very lengthy and detailed. Please try to pair a new advanced dual air pump with a new remote by entering, “Yes,” to the above referenced question and see what happens.
I have literally attempted the remote setup on and off for two years and still this $10,000 bed doesn’t have a working remote. I call cyst support and always closed. I work during the day and don’t think about the bed until it’s evening time.
For the price of their beds they should be able to afford longer hours for customer service. Since a few months have passed, hope you got the problem fixed.
@@dquin2932 That's your answer to a $15K bed not working properly on a regular basis??? We purchased a $15K bed so we wouldn't NEED to call a customer support line every time the thing doesn't work. And, we DAMN-sure don't have the time to be sitting on the phone with customer support, even if they ARE open. Got, some irrelevant, jerk-off comment for that? So, according to you, as long as you have your note pad, calendar, and cell phone near by, then you should have no problems with your $10-$15K bed.... There's something floating in a third-world cesspool with more intelligence than you.
The cell app doesn't work any better, either. Their response every time we DO get ahold of them is "where's your router", or "have you changed wifi providers". I'd hook a cat5 network cable directly into the bed's computer if it had an outlet. For the price of their beds, this is disgusting.
should be one video for each remote......I got so confused......I have sleep number beds......our bed has a 5 button remote and separate remote for the flex frame with massage......I only needed how to set back up my remote after a move.....do I just plug in my 5 button remote or do I have to go thru the whole process again.....I could not tell because this video was a run-on of several types of bed operating systems.....very confusing

Great video. Where is your videos showing hot to use the remote and the app? If not please consider making one.

I got my bed back online 😎
Thank you!
need video on binding the remote to the adjustable frame -- all show binding the inflatable remote
Still getting ER error. The pump clicks but won’t bind with the remote.

that's what they make note pads for, and calendars on cell phones, to remind you of things.

Why is it stuck at 100 with dashes around it?

I am having trouble too...I know you posted your comment over a year ago, just wondering how you made out getting it working properly?
Great video but only covers 95% of the process. The rest is on the fly.
It is way too difficult for a 8k dollar bed
I have old remote sleep number...
@@sleepnumber how can I order new remote

You can't. They don't make them. Don't sell them. I had to find a very used remote on ebay for $75
pathetic bed
