Made this today. This was an instant success!! I did not bother chopping the veggies. Cut them into smaller chunks and pulsed them thrice in mixer for a course grated form. Quicker to cook that way. Also added one pinch of asafetida for that extra oomph! Thanks for the recipe!

Depends on the oil being used. Sesame Oil, Coconut Oil are all healthier alternatives.
