  • Around 400 Ukrainian women are in Russian captivity, including civilians detained in the occupied territories. The fate of many of them has been unknown since 2014. Usually, captured Ukrainian civilians are accused of extremism and espionage. During detention, the women are often raped, humiliated, tortured and forced to dig trenches for the Russian army. Meet Ludmila Guseinova and Elena Iagupova, two survivors turned activists who have escaped from Russian captivity, and hear the story of Elena Fedoruk, a mother and grandmother still imprisoned to this day.

      Russian authorities actually reacted and provide conditions for immediate release of those two female prisoners. I think it's repulsive that someone who literally exterminate the whole people along with babies and women actually raise a voice against anyone. After genociding the whole continent of innocent smiling unarmed people you should be fucking silent as a stone.

    Excellent, moving, compelling and detailed report. It is mainly about two very brave women but also about many other victims of Moscow's oppression. Thank you. The modern Moscow gangster imperialists follow the manual of brutality of their KGB or Chekist predecessors and idols. As Elena said: "There is no law there [in the temporarily occupied territories]." I hope that Elena and Artur, and Ludmila and her husband, will share many years together, and that Elena Fedoruk is freed soon.

    I couldn't watch the whole thing. The remarkable courage of these people is astounding. It breaks my heart to hear their stories. That such horrific acts were perpetrated against such good, decent people. I'm heartbroken that Russians would do this to people who are their brothers. Shame on them. They have no honor.

      Yes, the Russian Imperial Romanov family, Nicholas II of Russia, his wife and 5 children were shot and bayoneted to death by Bolshevik revolutionaries in 1918. Also murdered were the entourage.
      I don't know how one can murder children. 😔

    If Russia is expelled from Crimea and Eastern Ukraine I think it is incumbent on the supporters of Ukraine to ensure there are no reprisals against the ethnic Russian population. Also Ukraine should look to Rwanda for help to overcome such ethnic hatred.

      In Crimea, the indigenous people are the Crimean Tatars. And they are now being oppressed, actively being imprisoned, and being mobilized for war. The Russians do not spare them. So why should they be pitied?

    Well let’s talk about what azov and sbu doing this for years and the cases held by the UN . This is never acceptable in any conflict but there would be no conflict if kyiv better control on there armed forces harming civilians in the east. Blame your country for instigating this in the first place

    • @leonaessens4399
      @leonaessens4399 3 месяца назад

      What absolute nonsense. Azov again, eh? You are forgetting to mention that back then, the Russians were attacking Ukrainian territories, too, and were literally driving Russian nationals into Ukraine to create a Russian majority in those areas. Then they started talking about how those regions should really become part of Russia because Russians outnumbered local Ukrainian populations. It's an age-old tactic. The Germans did it in Czechoslovakia and Poland, too, before World War II.
