Need to do it on my bmw, how got the new seal . It has a sponge side and a rubber one ! Which is the one facing the outside!! No indication on how to install it !! Any help ??
This would have been extremely helpful if you showed us what that seal looked like up close given this model is now discontinued and if we could see the shape of the seal that fits on the windshield we could maybe find an alternative that will work
It is the same for all Chrysler vehicles. The wind deflector is a anchored by a lanyard on each front corner. Each lanyard is held in place by a screw. Each spring is just stuck into a hole in the track of the sunroof. To remove the wind deflector just unscrew the lanyards and lift up on the front of the deflector and it will come out.

Take down the headliner and push some weedeater string down through the drain holes at all four corners. You can also pour some water into the drain tracks and see if it comes out at the bottom of the car just infront of the rear wheels for the back drains and behind the front wheels for the front drains.
Please keep posting these kinds of videos. There's a Frostbite Blue Scat pack right around the corner from me and the only deal breaker is that flipping sunroof. Why does anyone think cutting a hole in your roof is smart?

No really, I'm an old geezer and if there's one thing in life I learned is to always look at the up and down sides of any purchase you make. Sunroofs can whistle, rattle, and leak. In addition they add weight to your vehicle and take up precious head room We have a 2017 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with the panoramic roof. We've had no issues with it, however, we do keep it in a garage. If it was my choice, I wouldn't of got it. But the old lady made the decision.

Drop the headliner down on the suspected side so that you can gain access to the opening of the rear tube. Using a thick weed eater string push it down through the tube to clear the blockage. If you use compressed air you may cause the tubes to separate where they have joints.
VIEWERS NETWORK the seal is the first and main layer of protection. Any water that gets past the seal is supposed to flow down the tracks into the drainage tubes and out the bottom of the vehicle.
No I have not replaced the drip rails but I have drop the liner in my car and it is impossible to take out of the car without breaking it so you can just drop the liner then work around it.

Brian Davis you can adjust them so it is worth a try.
Brian Davis I would also check to see if there is any debris in the tracks that may be blocking the movement of the sunroof.

Why don’t you like sunroofs? They have problems but they are pretty convenient. Idk why im talking though my charger has a sunroof and im in Alaska

Drop the headliner then use weedeater string to push down the holes.

The brackets to attach your glass to the lift arms should already be attached to your glass when you get it so you shouldn’t have to buy anything.
