This Army post is just down the road about 20 minutes from the National Park. It is off the highway a good distance , so it isn’t easy to see from the road. I used to attend church here years ago. 🥰 I still love to go back to visit. ❤️ Have an awesome week! ❤️

Such a nice tour Jennifer! 👍 Seeing the military base was really neat.👍 We have the Westover Air Reserve Base nearby and it's really neat to see the quarters and air shows there, cool 😎. Even though Allan was Air Force, we lived on this Army post for a year. We absolutely loved it! We walked around every day feeling so blessed as we viewed the mountains. It was very peaceful there. We loved attending the Chapel there as well. Now, we just go there to visit. 🥰❤️

Stationed there in the mid 80s. Very few buildings are familiar. I think the old barracks as well as old McAfee are gone. It was a nice post for duty... but busy for medics. Thanks for sharing!
