What a monster. I recall my first time hearing him on Dark Funeral’s Angelus Exuro Pro Eternus album. And I was floored. I had never heard a drummer play that fast with that kind of endurance. Hands and feet playing well above 200bpm with out a break. I’m glad you were able to get him in studio, as we all know he’s not one to show face. Great job, Marthyn.

Im looking forward to his next projects. I really enjoyed his sound in Angelus Exuro pro Eternus and tracks in Where Shadows Forever Reign. The transitions were beasty and felt like an interesting story was being told.

Nils is a beast, my favorite extreme metal drummers are, horgh from immortal, the guy from krisiun, that guy martin that played drums for kataklysm on the serenity in fire album was probably the fastest drummer i have ever heard but i dont know much about him. Then there are the ones that have sadly died like the guy from vader and the guy from decapitated.I also like power metal drummers like Mike terrana from rage and axel rudi pell and the drummer of orden ogan, mr black from primal fear, jorg michael who like mike terrana has played with everyone, bands like rage, stratovarios, running wild, many more,
Marthyn I feel I should mention the drums are sort of clipping - you may want to bring the level on the brain down some! This is some interesting content for sure, though - even for non-drummers like myself.

I wouldnt be surprised if Nils could play Lucifer Incestus even much faster than 275bpm. With his speed even 300 bpm seems to be in the realm of possiblity, however crazy that sounds. That is not supposed to make you ashamed at all, but I wonder if you were thinking about that too. Shame that kicks sometimes dont play at that speed on youtube.
