I'm testing uploading in UHD (4k), so let me know if you notice a difference vs my normal HD res uploads. Just a quick reminder for all you early bird viewers, it's still processing my upload so the playback resolution seems to be capped at 360p currently. 🤮
I'm not putting my final floor under my cabinets. It will be cheaper and if you decide to change the flooring out because of wear or because you decide you don't like it, it won't be under your cabinets. I'm using 80/20 for my cabinets and will be anchoring the frames to my plywood floor. Nice Ceiling! You pay a lot of attention to the small details. That can be good and bad. Thus, the three weeks to build your ceiling.
Glad you are making progress on your van build. You are giving me the confidence to follow in your footsteps, putting the van on order!! Please keep the videos coming. By the way, the ceiling looks beautiful. You have made me a subscriber... A little late, but am on Team Erik Johnson now. I suggest you stay away from plank vinyl flooring in a van, solid flooring will be your friend!
Love the ceiling, beautiful wood but still not to dark. when it comes to the floor my plan is to have it divided between the garage area (under the bed) covered with coin pattern flooring and the van's main area will have some more traditional flooring. All the electric components and plumbing will be in the garage area on top of the coin floor.
Yeah, part of why I'm leaning towards laying down the flooring first is for the water tank and system, so that if anything did leak it'd leak onto the waterproof flooring and not just the treated plywood.
Thanks Raymond! I love seeing all your comments on my videos. You're always so supportive, and I promise you it makes a bigger impact than you would imagine!
I finish my transit T&G ceiling and concluded about 2 months later I wanted to add Starlink. Also, not happy with WeeBoost. My experience tells me WeeBoost is a POS. Don’t recommend pushing multiple wires through those glands. I have two installed on my van. One for the solar positive and negative and one for the Wooboost and Starlink.
and you will be looking at it every morning and every night - worth the effort :)
My thoughts exactly!!

Exactly, I just keep waffling on whether the ease of replacement is a higher priority vs the security of having a waterproof flooring throughout. 🤔

Glad to hear you're enjoying the content! What is the ETA on newly ordered vans these days?

Can I get you to build me one later on? Love it! Keep up the awesome work!
Ha! You don't even want to know how much it'd cost. 🤑

Do you have a finished product.
How’s the van coming along? You still on YT?
Sadly, the van project has been on hold for the past year. I'm still here though. I'm currently editing my next video, but it's not about my van.
