Absolutely fascinating to watch this. Who knew that your house was actually next to the beach. All you need now is a bucket and spade and you can build a sandcastle.
Hi Barry & Max Loved watching your pool build found it really fascinating to watch it come together. The building crew got so much done in just a day & worked really well together. Looking forward to watching it progress, I bet the end result will be fantastic ❤ xx
Hi Guys Another great vlog I would be the same as Maxine stressing every step of the way. Every build is the same when we had our two storey extension done I thought it was never going to end but all was good in the end and very well worth it but I did not think so at the time xx
I'm excited for you both that work is beginning on your pool installation. It is sorely needed in Floridas' heat. I have family on the west coast of Florida who have pools and they are put to great use by the young and not so young. Looking forward to future installments.
Hi Bazza n Maxine. Those guys worked quickly and purposely with care. I'm very impressed. They got a great deal done in a short time. Can't wait to see what happens next. Try and relax, if these guys are anything to go by, you're in good hands!! 😊
Watching this made me realize that as a new build at least ours didn't have the issue of irrigation pipes and sprinklers to contend with. Also, watching those guys with the machines working with each other was almost like watching a choreographed dance. Looking forwards to the next installment mate.
It was amazing to see them all “dancing together” outside. I asked them how they did that and they just said they work with each other every day so know what the other person is thinking
It’s going to be amazing guys! Can’t wait to see more of the build as it goes along. Pool party at yours next year??? No budgie smugglers allowed Baz!! 😂
I get nervous and stressed as well when work is being done Maxine, but it'll be fantastic when finished. A pool is needed in the draining heat we have. I look forward to seeing the progress! 🌴 😊
Hi,thank you for sharing. Wow, good start long way to go.Lots of pool parties to look forward to next year.Whose going to cut the ribbon on pool opening day??😂.
I feel your stress Maxine and it’s not even my house. I think when you have any work done it’s an anxious time. Glad it’s all gone well so far and hope that continues!
Hi guys, best vlog ever absolutely loved it but then I’m in construction lol we are back out in 4 weeks looking forward to a dip lol only kidding keep safe Andy and Vonnie
Max and Barry what a fantastic group of guys you had doing your pool, we did like the hedge pulling. Barry do you always work from home if so how are you managing with all the building work going on. Love the vlog you put out very much appreciate. Your on my list to meet up next year if treatment goes ok, will pool be finished by spring? The lodge guys will love pool when they visit. Brilliant as always, max keep your eyes 👀 on those men ❤️❤️
It's been challenging , today, they were drilling into the side of the house all. It gets old after the first 30 minutes. Hopefully done early next year
Looks like a really good start to the pool project. Just a pity you live in your house, I’m sure with such a pool and deck, when finished, you’d have plenty of interest to Park going holidaymakers. Keep em coming.
Rainbird sprinkler company has a great service where they design the sprinkler system for your yard. You just outline your yard on their graph paper (application) showing the location of all trees, shrubs, and bushes and provide other information like water pressure and volume (gallons/minute) and they use a computer to design your sprinkler layout. They provide a diagram showing each sprinkler head location and provide a parts list of all the parts you need. They charge you $15 for the service so they're probably hoping that you will buy their parts. I used their service for my front and back yards and my yards get watered perfectly even. Great service.
Huzzah! That went VERY smoothly. I occasionally have nightmares of putting in my last pool in Aridzona. We hit caliche about 2 feet down and had to blast it out. Only added $20k to the costs (1988 $$) 🤬😭
Well, I suppose anyone who bought before COVID can finance a pool with the increase in house value since then! The house I’m sure was a super investment but I wonder how pool additions in Florida hold value? Nice fun addition either way!
We were lucky buying when we did, we could not afford the houses around here now. You tend to add between 30-40% of the pool value to the house, so you should never add one to make money
I hate oak trees! The roots of ours destroyed our driveway, grew around our septic tank pipes amongst other things.Having to rake up up to 40 bags of leaves periodically wasn’t fun either..
So exited for you and your Family! What an undertaking. Just out of interest, do your neighbours have pools? Sending you my best wishes, it’s going to be brilliant! ❤
I feel like they look like very professional team of contractors, and have made so much progress in short period of time! Very exciting 😊
Yes they do
I’ve never seen a pool being built so really enjoyed watching this one. It’s going to be a great investment. X
Hopefully , it is fascinating to watch
Wow Barry, you hosting the Olympics! It'S big an fabulous, i cannot wait till it's finished.
Only half the size of the pool we had in Virginia, that was olympic length
Great first vlog for the pool construction series. I definitely think it’s going to be a good investment and you’ll have a new space to enjoy too.
That's the plan!, thanks for watching !
That’s gonna be bloody marvellous 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you, we hope so
All therapeutic watching the works ❤️❤️. Wonderful Vlog 👏👏
Thank you so much 😊
No wonder you are anxious Maxine with all that mess -so glad we had pool already built. Still it will be fantastic when finished
We are looking forward to that day, believe me !
When finished ! Everyone welcome to TPB water park fun 🤩 taking shape guys 🤗

Absolutely fascinating to watch this. Who knew that your house was actually next to the beach. All you need now is a bucket and spade and you can build a sandcastle.

WE are very excited for it to be finished and all the mess to be gone
It’s going to look fantastic when finished look forward to watching it come together

I feel your pain your lawn was so beautiful
Also cost money to keep that way (gardener and weed control company) that I wont have to pay now
Brilliant. Very interesting.
Thank you
So excited 🎉 can't wait to see it finished ❤😊
Same here :-)
It's going to look great 👍
Thanks, we hope so

Awesome! Thank you!
Very interesting vlog...hubby mentioned how new the machinery looked that they were using....looking forward to seeing the rest....❤😊
They seemed to have all the right gear for the job
Hi Bazza n Maxine. Those guys worked quickly and purposely with care. I'm very impressed. They got a great deal done in a short time. Can't wait to see what happens next. Try and relax, if these guys are anything to go by, you're in good hands!! 😊
They seem to be good workers and good quality work
Watching this made me realize that as a new build at least ours didn't have the issue of irrigation pipes and sprinklers to contend with. No Budgie smugglers , au natural
@@ThemeParkBazza that’ll really please the neighbours 🤣
Only on the backstroke :-)

We will keep you updated
Hi,thank you for sharing. Wow, good start long way to go.Lots of pool parties to look forward to next year.Whose going to cut the ribbon on pool opening day??😂.
We cannot afford a ribbon cutting ceremony now ;-)
I doff my tartan hat to Crazy Scottish Neighbour's ingenuity for the bush removal
He knows how to get things done for sure. Hope you appreciated the bagpipe music I put in for his segment :-)
I’m like Maxine. I get a bit overwhelmed when there’s big jobs being done.😅. All worth it in the end. It’ll be lovely.😊
I am sure it will
Seems you have really good tradesmen for the pool xx
I think we got lucky with a good referal
I want one of those diggers. Once they get going they really do!
They looked like fun to operate
Loving these vlogs ❤☝️
Why thank you
I feel your stress Maxine and it’s not even my house. I think when you have any work done it’s an anxious time. Glad it’s all gone well so far and hope that continues!

I think it may be a bit longer , they are hoping to have it done around the end of the year
Loving the pool series but I feel for Max looking out over what used to be her lawn. Hopefully when it is done it will have been worth it
Hopefully the new view is better

Thats the plan :-)
Well they work quicker than they do in Spain haha. Mañana and all that. 😅
They work quicker than most of the contractors in Florida
Looks like a really good start to the pool project. Just a pity you live in your house, I’m sure with such a pool and deck, when finished, you’d have plenty of interest to Park going holidaymakers. Keep em coming.
We picked this area because no short term rentals allowed , its very residential hence very peaceful and quiet

Good to know but Crazy Scottish Neighbor has me covered

Wowsers not only cost but I bet the house shook a bit
I hope when its done you are gonna have a pool party meet up lol
Ohh I could charge and make money back :-)

Is it compulsory for a pool fence in USA? We have to have child proof fencing in Australia.
Yes you have to have a barrier and the cage acts as a barrier, also all the door and windows to the pool must be alarmed
it will be great to have a pool are you having a cover over the top
We are having a cage round it
I hate oak trees! The roots of ours destroyed our driveway, grew around our septic tank pipes amongst other things.Having to rake up up to 40 bags of leaves periodically wasn’t fun either..
The trees were the first thing we took out when we moved here, too close to the house
Will you be putting up a fence so you have privacy in the pool? Also are there alligators in the lake there?
We we will be putting up a fence at the end. All water in Florida has Gators , our local one is Swampy
So exited for you and your Family! What an undertaking. Just out of interest, do your neighbours have pools? Sending you my best wishes, it’s going to be brilliant! ❤
Yes our next door neighbor has a pool and there are many in the area
I still use a landline phone.
We did until we moved to Florida 3 years ago
Hope there aren’t Gators in that lake behind the house, you might wake up one morning to find it swimming in the hole 🤣
Thats why a fence will be installed once the pool is done :-)
