Thank you so much for this video! I’ve been looking so long for someone demonstrating the comparison between this model iPhone and Sony, it seems to me like Sony is more worth the money. Maybe they don’t have the zoom capability or the fancy new macro technology, but the light filter is much more advanced to me. It looks more how real life looks. And when back lit by the sun it doesn’t wash things out! Like it’s more applicable to more environments. Seems like apple is trying to show off in a lot of ways that sacrifice it’s basic performance.
Many reviewer had same issue problem as you had with iphone 13 photos, it looks too digitized, too contrast, too much sharpness. I dunno how apple stuffed it up? Sony looks way much better! I have iphone 11 and photos look much better than newer iphone 13. Sony Xperia 5 III did fantastic job you demonstrated of all photos including video, its very natural looking too. Thanks for showing us review.
Did you take those night time photos using a tripod/mounting? Also I think the iPhone doesn't like to use the telephoto lens in low light. It looked like a main lens crop This Xperia seems to do very well with colours
Thank you, very much! Now I have Xperia XZ1 and decided to buy the new smartphone. In Ukraine the prices now: Xperia 5III 128mb. - 750 USD iPhone 13 pro 128mb. - 1 140 USD. The choice is obvious. Moreover, Sony generally shoots better. aptX HD support is also important for me when having Sony headphones. It's a Sony!!!

Xperiaは写真についてはiPhoneといい勝負（個人的にはXperiaの方が自然で好き）だが動画については勝負になってない...
ともかくXperiaはDレンジが狭すぎてiPhoneの不自然な明るさにも負けてしまっている
動画性能さえまともになればかなりいい機種なのに惜しいですね

Apple did a Samsung with the "added contrast" creating crushed blacks look. It seems that there's too much going on now with the processing.
@@RennieAsh Thats why I don't like too much of it, it kills the image. Should have been more of mild contrast would be fine with it.

この辺かなー。sonyは夜景でもコントラストある絵でしっかり解像する。自動HDRが改善され、Dレンジもかなり広い。
iPhoneはお手軽なインスタ映えのために、やたら明るくする補正が効いてしまっている。イルミ撮る時なんかは良いんだろうけどね…。

iPhoneは夜間望遠レンズ使えないし、色おかしいし、ノイズ多いし。
今現在Xperia 1Ⅱを使ってます。
マークⅡ時代よりもDROやHDRの処理が賢くなったようで静止画はiPhone 13 PROよりXperia 5Ⅲの方が美しく感じます。
ただXperiaの広角レンズは色味の調整が甘くiPhoneの方が色味が安定している気がします。
望遠レンズはXperiaの方が質感が省略されずに正確に写し出せていると思います。
動画に関してはやはりiPhoneの方が安定感があるようでXperiaはダイナミックレンジが狭すぎですね。
この辺りはマークⅡ時代の欠点があまり改善されていないです。
Xperiaは未だに動画のDROの調整がうまく行ってないように感じます。

画像処理エンジンでカメラの性能は決まります。ピクセルは旧式の安物のサムスンセンサーを使ってますが、画像処理が優秀なのであれだけ綺麗に撮れるのです。
Xperiaは自然な色の再現にこだわっているので、暗い所は暗く写す様に設定されています。
ですから比較対象としてふさわしく無い。と申し上げました。
