An accomplice is a person who helps or abets or encourages the commission of a crime wherease co accused are the offenders who did that offence.. both accomplice and co accused can become an approver but the only different is. In case of testimony by the accomplice conviction can be given without corroboration but in case of co accused corroboration is must..

Before framing of charge: accomplice. After charge: co accused
