Go for it. If you don't like it. the benefit of Plasti dip is you can remove in in about 30mins. One thing I learned though is spend extra time on prep work. Taping everything off.
Thank you for bringing forth your opinion. This was an inexpensive motorcycle and didn't feel the need to waste $1,000 bucks on a professional. I sold it as is I made a profit though. So it worked out. But if my 2021 Ducati ever needs a paint job I'll be sure to take it to a professional.
@jim toone, that’s an unnecessary comment. Like Silverback mentioned, Plasti Dip does a solid job of protecting a bike and giving a temporary change in color. With that stuff, it’s never about high end quality
I know a utility knife can get the job done, but an X-Acto knife would be a lot easier to get into smaller curves for precision.
