Man, thank you so much for your time and effort to explain your settings. I have a 3070 and with your settings I cannot believe the difference. I will be playing ACC much more in vr now 🙂 Cheers
I had uninstalled ACC a while back due to it's shocking VR peformance, but after getting amazing results from using the settings detailed in your AMS2 video I decided to reinstall and give these a go. Wow, what a difference, I now get an incredibly smooth FPS performance and the graphics are no longer a complete fuzzy mess. The difference is quite amazing, thanks very much!
Thanks for taking the time to put up the guide. I also have a 3080 and I had ACC well configured for VR prior to the 1.8 patch. After that nothing worked in VR for me, until now. This is the first time I'm hitting constant 90 fps in my Reverb G1 and the image clarity has never been better, so thank you for sharing this with all of us.
Using a RTX 2080, I gave up on ACC years ago. Thanks to you, it looks great and runs at 90fps when hot lapping. 70-80fps at race start with 20 cars. Looking forward to your AMS2 settings.
I was strongly considering buying a G2, but was worried about performance even with a 13600k and a 3090 - this video makes me want to buy it right now! thanks for the clear and detailed instructions, very well done.
Thank you so much for this video. I am new to Sim racing and VR in general and this actually helped me out a lot. I only have a 3070 but the steps you shared significantly improved my performance. I am now able to play 72hz stable in most races. Thank you once again!
Like other commenters, I had gone away from ACC for a while, due to its horrible VR performance. However, your settings are amazing. I'll be playing a lot more of it again, I think :) Thank you!
Thanks very much for the vid. I've applied all the settings exactly as you have them (on a 3090 and Ryzen 7 5800x3d). However, I'm sitting more in the 75 fps range with dips down to 65. Any idea what might cause this? I know the HolographicShell was an issue before but, as far as I can tell, it was resolved.
@@wanderschikanentv Ah I see, great content by the way. Just got into VR sim racing. I think once you nail down the settings going back to normal screens is boring haha
"Great video and very effective. I finally got the results I've been seeking for so long with VR and ACC. I can see you have substantial experience in fine-tuning settings, and I was wondering if you could make a tutorial for Le Mans Ultimate. So far, there are few tutorials available on RUclips, and most of them are incomplete. Based on this video, you'd really help the community achieve something solid. It would also be really helpful to have a way to map a button for recentering the view. Thanks, and keep up the great work!" Michel 👍👍👍
Thank you so much. I nearly gave up on ACC in VR. With your settings I get solid 80 fps. AMS2 still looks better in VR but at least I can enjoy ACC in VR now.
This has been very useful! Im running a 4090 and i was able to use volumetric fog using your settings in open xr also mirrors and everything improved using it instead of steam vr. Thanx!
Holy moly ! this made the game playable again. Solid 90 FPS on an RTX 3090 w/ AMD 5950X - System is watercooled and OC'd. ACC is simply very terribly optimized for VR. Between you and @HAMVR you guys are awesome. Thank you for your hardwork on this community.
Lieber, herr wandershikanen.
Thank you very much, was trying many other youtube tutorials, did help a little, but with yours explanation finally running smooth on 4080 on high settings :))
Hi WanderSchikanen, thank you for this great tutorial. Will these video settings work with the original Assetto Corsa because I do not have ACC. I have a Nvidia RTX 3090 and the HP Reverb G2. Many thanks Count D
Thanks for a highly informative video! For the ACC settings, do you have to modify the display setting every time you switch from VR to a monitor display?
Hi, THX. For ingame settings, it is recommended to make 2 profiles in the graphics settings, as typically, flatscreen will allow more quality. OpenXR Toolkit settings aren't affected anyhow.
Thanks for the video, I have one question, what is the point of raising the ingame supersampling "vr pixel density" if we're then using a low resolution value? Isn't this like trying to play on ultra graphics on a 1080p monitor, wouldn't it be better to use medium setting on a 4K one? So in such case overriding resolution per eye to a higher value while keeping the supersampling stock?
PixelDensity is not a supersampling, it is more like how many pixels are used to construct the virtual world. It has important effect on the clarity of the outside world. Other resolution settings then "polish" the picture in an overall smoothing manner.
Did the latest nvidia drivers screw you over? I have been using openxr for months now and its been perfect. Updated drivers this week and now its unplayable, extremely low fps, jittering etc
Thanks for the thorough explanation! I have a HP G2, RTX 4090, and Ryzen 9 7900x and this is the best looking setup I've tried. Thanks @WanderSchikanenTV!! Its not as good as AMS2 and iRacing but pretty dang good. Since I only race in VR I'm pretty happy I can now play ACC - the gt3 physics is so much better than ams2 and iRacing! Fyi I was able to set most settings on high and epic with VR Pixel density to 120. There is a bit of shimmering on med distance cars but it's acceptable.
Thanks for the nice feedback! I'm surprised that you are getting stuck on rather low pixel densities with the 4090. I tried to push higher than 120. However, at 125-135, fps were degrading slightly but noticeable, and at 140, there was a serious breakdown of fps. I propose you give a try again to higher Pixel Densities, and after each adjustment, you fully restart ACC. Sometimes, ACC seems to get a hickup after changing settings.
@@wanderschikanentv I got some more time to play with the settings and it's much better now! I updated my original comment. Not sure what changed - perhaps I forgot to stop the HolographicShell as I'm running windows 11. Thanks again for sharing!!
Super Video, endlich läuft es bei mir im Game mit ner G2, 3070 und nem i7 der neuen generation auf 86 FPS. Das war wirklich der Gamechanger für mich, danke dir!!!!
Great vid, thanks! Clearly and logically presented so I could play it along while making changes. I'm hoping most of these will apply to AC and iracing as well. Are your headset settings within windows set to performance or quality? You like CAS better then FSR/NIS for Nvidia hardware?
I use the quality setting. CAS is in my opinion by far the best option for picture sharpness. Second best for sharpness is FSR (in OpenXR Toolkit) at 100% Upscaling at 70% Sharpness.
No Problems with the 90% scale in OpenXR settings? I'm also on Quest 3 an 4090. I have no performance issues but even with maxed out settings the picture was bad. With these settings things work way better! But the fish eye is a problem. The number of degrees are also different to the ones form the video, even when the percentage ist the same (90%)
@@Kaiserphysikant I can recommend to use my settings only as a starting point for your case. Your system is much stronger than mine, so these FOV limitatiins that I use for fps management are likely not needed on a 4090, and also custom resolution can likely be set much higher for you.
@@Kaiserphysikantme to with quest 3 i cannot use the field of view at 90%, when rotate my head also the world rotate a little. Do u have solved? Thanks
I race acc only in VR and it had never looked this good after following your guide - crystal clear. However when i started acc today (the first time after tweaking with your guide), the image quality was noticeably worse. There was some grizzyness in the image and also jagged lines (especially grandstands in the distance). I changed nothing from the last session to now. Do you have any idea what might be causing this ? Specs are 10900k & 3080
Hi Merc, what files exactly are missing for you? There are some files that need to be created - those parts are mentioned in the video. Otherwise, based on installation path, there may be some specific paths for your system. If you can provide more specific cases from your system, I can give you some guidance.
Hey mate quick one, what is your CPU time in the toolkit? I’m always at 11ms and seem to be CPU limited no matter what settings I run. Quite often get drops down to 80 with it always being the CPU thread that bounces up to 13ms etc. 5800x3d
@@wanderschikanentv Thanks for the reply, mine is usually just a bit lower, this seems to be the problem. I don't see any performance increase using FSR though, it performs the same if not worse and doesn't look any better.

Kudos to you, finally using my 4090 to make it pretty instead of just trying to brute-force some nasty looking things. :) OpenComposite and OpenXR Toolkit is really what seem to have done it for me. Running it at full Epic settings at 90 fps is amazing. Really well put together guide as well. :)
@@Bonoscot To get the game to look good and run decently, yeah, you have to. OpenXR Toolkit has been the biggest gamechanger to me. But you should be able to run the game at high settings in most cases even on a full LFM grid at least. :)
Verringer also mal testweise die Pixel Density. Falls das klappt, kannst Du danach mal die custom resolution im OpenXR Toolkit hochziehen, um die niedrigere PD zu kompensieren. Custom Resolution dürfte mehr auf GPU gehen.
Incredible, awesome. It is a drastical change in the game. Thanks a lot man. I will also try it for other games. I am using HP Reverb G2 and RTX 3080 too. Now I am trying to even improve using the OpenXR Toolkit override resolution feature. It makes a big difference in terms of clarity when I use it in Microsoft Flight Simulator. Did you have a try to it? I really recommend it, if you of course don't go over GPU limits (memory and or fps)
Does this Foveated Rendering depend more on the CPU instead of the GPU? I get messages about my CPU being the limiting factor. I7-9700K@5Ghz + RTX3080 here.
It is not exceptional for me to be CPU-limited in ACC in races. I have all the time ~3-4 ms in CPU due to the complex physics calculations. As for graphics settings, it seems that Pixel Density hast biggest impact on CPU. Try to lower it if you are unhappy with CPU, but of course, it will cost some image quality.
Thank you very much: I have install OpenXR in september but I had not try all the tweak yet, I’m sure you will be very helpful !! I run a Pimax 5k+ on a laptop with 3080 so I know I have to Keep lower settings than yours. Just one question: why don’t you use DLSS ? Same image with less fps or worst image? Bye
I'm on 4090, 12900k with Varjo Aero. I have found the biggest FPS killers are mirrors and number of visible cars. Personally I run with no mirrors and viewable cars between 11 and 16. With that I can run most settings on epic, other than the other know FPS killers in advanced settings, such as materials, which I run on High. Bloom, and fog off, and foliage lod quality to low. Finally car lod to 60%. With that I'm running, using Openxr. The Areo at 39DDP. Game is very clear. I only have FPS dops at the start of the race. On some tracks I do have view distance on High. The game does look inccredible now in VR. But my bank manager is not happy!
Thank you for your video, great tutorial! On the other hand if I follow your settings to the letter I don't understand I don't want the 90Fps... I have to reduce the 120% to 110% of pixels in the game options...(while I have 4070 Ti + i7 12700K + 64GB RAM) any idea? In addition, do you have an idea to still dominate the blur in the distance in the game? Thanks to you
What is your default resolution for HP G2? With your settings and a resolution of 3000x3000, my frames drop to 70 in some cases (Nurbur, mid day, 20 cars on track, first lap). I have to override resolution in OpenXR toolkit settings to 2400x2400 +-. Intel 13700 Kf, 32 Gb RAM 4000Mhz, 3080 Extreme.
I don't use custom resolution in ACC, and default is 2800x2800. My fps is also about 70 fps in first lap at Nürb, and increases to 85-90 when the grid stretches. I believe this is more CPU limitation than a GPU topic.
Guys i need help, I cant get the XR Tollkit to work. If i start ACC via Steam VR it crashes. If i start it via Oculus VR the tool is not working, no hotkeys are working. Somebody help.....
Question about Motion Reprojection. In OpenXR Toolkit I see that you set it to "Default." My understanding is that this causes OpenXR to use the setting from OpenXR Tools for Windows Mixed Reality. What setting do you use in OpenXR Tools for Windows Mixed Reality?
Hi, you need to press CTRL+F2 ingame to access the toolkit. If it doesnt open, then you are not running in Openx. Check my Dirt Rally 2 video for more info.
When I use OpenComposite, the left eye of the headset shows a red rectangle (I can't exactly see what's written on it, but it seems to be some sort of performance monitoring) at the top left of the view. Is there a way to remove it? And also the view is always not centered properly. I have to turn my head to the right to see "straight". Thanks!
The rectangle is probably the FPS counter of "OpenXR Tools for Windows Mixed Reality ". Open that program and search for the appropriate options. Anyhow, consider setting all settings to Default as the may interfere with OpenXR Toolkit. As for the view, press Ctrl+Space to recenter it. You can also map to a button. Most VR games have such option.
@@wanderschikanentv I did follow so much tutorials without making it right. I can't beleve what I have now. 😃 Sorry, question, If I follow your video for AMS2 and AC, I will have to resetup OpenComposite everytime I pick one of those games ? Thank you !

@@wanderschikanentv WOW! Finally got a chance to try out these settings…the game looks absolutely stunning! Not sure what exactly you mean. I can see the HUD of ACC ingame, but it is not visible in the video because I saved the video material from the pancake screen via Nvidia recording.
Hallo, danke für das super Tutorial, hast damit vielen Leuten VR wieder schmackhaft gemacht. Thank you very much for your video. It was an absolut game changer for me. Before that ACC looked like crap in VR. Now it just blowes my mind. I must admit that I still have trouble in online races (LFM, 30 opponents, 15 cars visible; my PC: RTX 3080, i5 12600K, 16GB DDR4, SSD-HD). FPS drops significantly compared to AI races and its stuttering. Furthermore even when alone on track I´m often CPU bound (+ 4ms) and I experience stutters. CPU usage though seems to be low (30 to 50%). So I´m not sure what the problem is exactly. I fixed the "CPU-bound"-problem by disabling Turbo Mode and turning on Motion reprojection in the OpenXr Toolkit. CPU App times dropped significantly (from 12 to 5ms), I had no more stutters and everything is super smooth now. My settings for online races still need some fiddeling. Please keep up the good work. Looking forward to see more from you.
Hi David, thanks for the feedback! I'm also CPU-limited at ~+4ms. I'm not enough expert for CPU-benchmark to compare my CPU against yours. What I realized is that PixelDensity seems to have a big impact on CPU (a bit unexpected, I would have guessed that it affects more GPU). You can give a try and lower it to check whether it would help, but it will clearly lower image quality. I'm not going often for multiplayer races, but I had very fluent and very stuttery races on LFM. I thought that it was a matter of quality of connection. I suggest you optimize your settings in an offline environment. Last but not least, thanks for sharing your setting with motion reprojection in OpenXR Toolkit. What are your exact settings? Motion Reprojection "ON", that's clear, but what about the second line below, "Lock Motion Reprojection"? 45 fps?
@@wanderschikanentv Thanks for the hint with the pixeldensity. I´ll try that. Concerning motion reprojection I first used the unlocked mode. This was perfect on the trainings-server (8-10 other cars) or offline but gave me trouble on the race-server (35 cars in total). So I locked the FPS to 45 on the race-server which worked well but not perfect. There was no more time for trying, but I´ll hang on.
@@davidcallau2542 Do you have issues with color transparency of HUD elements when using Motion Reprojection? For me, track map, timetable and similar all have black, intransparent background; car radar also has black contours. Do you know how to get rid of this? Because otherwise, MR works really well.
I have noticed that only in the pits. As soon as I Start driving, everything is fine. But I must admit, that I reduce HUD elements to a minimum. No map, no gear and speed signs. I activate the timetable only at the start-finish-straight. Maybe reducing the HUD elements helps.
@@davidcallau2542 OK, good to know, so it seems to be natural that I see the black backgrounds. I'm also switching most HUD elements off, but the radar is most noticeable for me, as it is not blending in and out so smoothly.
I followed your settings exactly and i cant seem to get above 78fps. I have an Nvidia 4070ti as well. Could it be that im broadcasting what my vr sees on my monitor?
It may be a CPU-limitation. What CPU are you on? You can try practice run without AI or race with lower number of opponents. Also, try lowering pixel density to 110 or 100. Anyhow, I'm also not getting 90 fps all the time.
@@willstuart6666 OK, then it should work. Double-check the opencomposite settings, restart the PC. Start Steam, but make sure that SteamVR is closed. Best to start Windows Mixed Reality manually. Thank you very much for this outstanding video! I have gotten it all lined out with a Varjo Aero and RTX 3080 but one thing that happens once or twice a lap is the frames per second tanks down to 15 fps for two to three seconds and then comes back to the upper 70s and 80s of fps. @@BillLee3 glad to hear! For Features on RTX4090, my favorites would be bloom and volumetric for immersion and even higher Pixel Density or Custom Resolution for clarity.
Make 2 custom settings in the Video settings of ACC, one for VR, one for screen. Start ACC via Steam either as screen or SteamVR (will then Bypass to OpenXR). When running in VR, always check Pixel Density in Video Settings, it may get reset to 100 by a bug.
Hi mate ! First of all i would like to thank you for your great video and tutorial. I was always using ASW on to have stable FPS. Now with your settings i can reach stable 80FPS without it. But unfortunatly, i have a weird problem. If you have any idea what is causing that.. When i launch the game using steam VR (open composite is well set up with openXR ON), when i'm moving my head, the image is following my head movement. To be even more clear, when i'm on the menu and looking on the right, the menu follow my movement (that's the same while driving). After some tests, i feel that is specifically the HUD which is following my movement. When i launch the game directly with oculus mod or with steam Vr (without openXR), everything is fine. Any help will be apreciate. Have a nice day !
Hi Paul, I don't have own experience with Oculus. What I can say, that in early days of OpenComposite, I had to start ACC multiple times before it worked. Typically, the game would lock up in a frozen state where the main menu or loading screen (don't remember exactly anymore) follows the head movement. I then killed the game via task manager and restarted until it worked. Maybe this is some similar issue?
Second thing that comes to my mind, is that there was some sort of parallax effect of the hud in the past, which happened when you set Pixel Density different from 100. For testing, set PD to 100 and see if the issue vanishes.
hi, thx for your how-to, that is great to have real better performance. I notice that the option hiddenMeshVerticalScale for open composite not do anything on mine setup. I tried to use 0.2, 0.5, 0.6 0.8 and 1 without any change in game. FPS is always the same and my view is not cut vertically.... My configuration : Intel 10700k, NVIDIA RTX 4080, HP Reverb G2 EDIT : found the problem, I had to replace manually the DLL openvr_api.dll from the version of open composite web site....
@@wanderschikanentv what other settings you would change if you were on a 2080ti.. Iam hitting 80fps average with 25 cars visible, pixel density set to 110 and mirrors on mid..
Try to lower mirror fps to 45. Otherwise, I'd see, you already have a decent result. Reason for not hitting the 90 fps is probably CPU, not GPU. Take a look at your fps in hotlap, probably you are at 90 there.
@@wanderschikanentv I'll give it a try with the mirrors, and yes in hotlap it's 90 fps.. Biggest advantage for me is that the cars aren't floating any longer!! Thanks for answering, see you on track!!

Hi Oliver, it seems the game doesn't start in OpenXR. Are you getting a blue triangle animation in the headset when ACC starts, or a black one? Blue would be correct, black indicates that you are still in SteamVR. Close SteamVR. Start Opencomposite.exe and switch once to SteamVR and back to Opencomposite. Then, start ACC from Steam with the SteamVR option. You should get the blue triangle animation in the headset, and CTRL+F2 should work now.

Great vid and explanation, bro! Now with openXR toolkit / OpenComposite I reached stable 90fps on my RX 6700 XT. For some reason the "Fixed Foveated Rendering" don't appear for me in toolkit settings on ACC, some guess? But on F1 22 foveated shows up and works well
plugged in all these settings 2 days ago and ACC looked amazing. Was getting 80+fps with G2 and 3080. Now game keeps crashing. I get to menu and when I try to start session it just spins the 4 balls in Reverb and eventually says fatal error. Tried switching back to SteamVR and it's the same. Thanks for any help.
Switch to SteamVR in Opencomposite. Then, go to ACC Folder and search with Windows for the location of OpenVR_api.dll and delete the file. Then, do integrety check for ACC via Steam so that original openvr_api.dll is restored. start opencomposite and switch to OpenXR again.

You are welcome!
Thanks, and enjoy VR!
Thank you so much for this video. I am new to Sim racing and VR in general and this actually helped me out a lot. I only have a 3070 but the steps you shared significantly improved my performance. I am now able to play 72hz stable in most races. Thank you once again!
Perfect, great that you are getting good performance!
Like other commenters, I had gone away from ACC for a while, due to its horrible VR performance. However, your settings are amazing. I'll be playing a lot more of it again, I think :) Thank you!
Glad you like the settings!
This made a huge difference with reverb g2 & 7900 xtx. I tried lots of guides for Acc vr headache, this is the best one. Thx a lot.

You will have to select the ingame settings manually.
you completely changed ACC for me. Until now I thought I wasted my money. Thank you kind sir.
Have fun!
Hi, iv a got a Ryzen 5 5600x paired with a 3060Ti. Would this combo be enough to play ACC with the G2 even with compromises like lower video settings?

Thanks for fir this video. Works fine with Quest 3 abd VD
Nice! Thanks for sharing your Quest 3 experience!

Hi, you need to press CTRL+F2 ingame to access the toolkit. If it doesnt open, then you are not running in Openx. Check my Dirt Rally 2 video for more info.

@@wanderschikanentv Ah! Yes, this PC is recently upgraded, pretty much an entire new build, and it's been so long since I've installed Windows, I forgot that is something I need to do, thank you! :) I'm off to follow the rest of your instructions, thank you! :)
@@wanderschikanentv Sorry to pester again, but I was going to copy the text for the engine.ini file from the RUclips description, but I noticed that the text in the description does not match the text on screen for your file, especially for the audio part. I'm mostly referring to the fact I see "AudioDevice=HP Reverb G2 (2....more)." Can you look over the text in your engine.ini file again please, and update the RUclips description if it isn't too much work? I'm hoping to use your settings. :) Thank you!
@@JoMaMaz don't bother with the audio part, it is individual Base on your devices. It will not affect fps abs quality. Just modifiy the sections from video description .
@@wanderschikanentv Ok, thank you. So, I want to copy Core.System down to what portion? GraphicsAdapter 0? Also, I have an HP Reverb G2 V2, not Occulus, so do I copy that part also? Last question! 🙂
@@wanderschikanentv yeah I will mess around with it more. My CPU is a AMD Ryzen 7 5800X

Any idea what is causing my error?
Hi Will, which headset are you using?
I'm using an HP reverb g2 v2.
Thankyou for the reply. Also, once I get opencomposite and openvr working, how do I open the game without involving steam?
@@willstuart6666 OK, then it should work. Double-check the opencomposite settings, restart the PC. Start Steam, but make sure that SteamVR is closed. Best to start Windows Mixed Reality manually. Then start the game from Steam with the SteamVR option. If everything was set up properly, the game will bypass SteamVR, and you are able to access OpenXR Toolkit inside ACC.
Thankyou. This worked!! The image is much more clear but my fps still occasionally drops to 65. Still better than Steam vr though.
Thank you very much for this outstanding video! I have gotten it all lined out with a Varjo Aero and RTX 3080 but one thing that happens once or twice a lap is the frames per second tanks down to 15 fps for two to three seconds and then comes back to the upper 70s and 80s of fps. Have you seen this happen before and know how to remedy?
Thanks Sir!
Hi Jeremy, thanks for the feedback! No, I don't see such big drops on my setup.
ACC looks awesome on my Varjo Aero/3090. It was a mess on the Rift S/1080ti.
This really transformed my ACC experience in VR. I never thought it was possible to race ACC with 100% clarity and acceptable graphics. This is it! Thanks a lot for your effort to share. I don't know if you race on rF2? I'll definitely try these settings there as well!
Curious about your feedback on rF2!
I didn't do the engine.ini changes because I was scared of doing it wrong. I also don't have the opencomposite.ini file in the folder you mentioned and I don't know how to make ik it myself. But it seems to work fine without those. 70 FPS at race start and 90 FPS during race. Even night races! Amazing!

Could you please advise me on how to go get from the previous step of creating the ini and changing the json, to opening ACC and adjusting the open xr settings as shown in your video? Thank you Ryan
You start the game via the "Start with SteamVR", however, as you have selected the "Switch to SteamVR" option in OpenComposite, the game will start in OpenXR. Please refer to the link in ACC forum out of the video description for more detail. You can see whether it worked by the color of starting animation. Hi Sean, before you revert, try a re-start of the PC. Also try to switch in OpenComposite.exe once to SteamVR and back to OpenComposite. I don't really have an experience with such big drops of fps, unfortunately :-\

Thought I had followed your guide exactly, but I'm only getting 62-69 fps on a 4090. It APPEARS quite smooth and clarity is the best I've ever seen from the game, but really disappointed with that FPS given the card. I've gone back through it twice and DID try the HolographicShell patch (I think MS fixed that between your post and now and it didn't make a difference). Still at 85-90fps in menus and 59-69 fps in game, with very little change depending on in game settings. Note: very little running in background other than hardware services. Any ideas? Final note, went back to SteamVR and it stays at 90 fps even with a number of in-game settings much higher though OpenVR looks better. My OpenVR settings are identical to yours.

I AM running newer versions of OpenVR and nVidia drivers since that's what they had for download..... It does appear to be some kinda frame cap issue because nothing much in game affects the fps.
Absolutely no idea what I changed. Maybe just a few reboots. But now it's stuck maxed out at 90 fps. Guess I'll start carefully turning up a few things to see what else I can improve since I'm on the 4090 versus your 3080. Again, game looks SO much better than it ever has before. Great guide!
@@BillLee3 glad to hear! For Features on RTX4090, my favorites would be bloom and volumetric for immersion and even higher Pixel Density or Custom Resolution for clarity.
Thank you! If I want to go back and forth between VR and single screen, what would be the quickest way to go about it?
I also wanted to ask if by any chance you know if open xr also works with Pico 4. Thanks a lot
Hi, sorry, I don't have experience with the Pico 4.
Did you try? I can have a good performance with Pico 4
hi, thx for your how-to, that is great to have real better performance. I notice that the option hiddenMeshVerticalScale for open composite not do anything on mine setup. I tried to use 0.2, 0.5, 0.6 0.8 and 1 without any change in game.
FPS is always the same and my view is not cut vertically....
My configuration : Intel 10700k, NVIDIA RTX 4080, HP Reverb G2
EDIT : found the problem, I had to replace manually the DLL openvr_api.dll from the version of open composite web site....
Perfect, thank you for your positive feedback!
