Extremely good video on Air Canada’s business class. Once, from YYZ to FRA, I made the mistake of eating the chicken dish. I wasn’t feeling too hot after when I woke up near Frankfort. Started getting sick in the Lufthansa business lounge bathroom and it continued all the way to our final destination in Cairo. Never again will I eat chicken on an Air Canada flight!

Living in Atlanta, married to Delta/SkyTeam (I like my Platinum status), I'm jealous at the quality of the International Airlines available on Star Alliance members, Singapore, Lufthansa, so many others. Well, we are heading out to Dubai in November, AC had business class flights for much less than half the price of Delta or Air France, so I grabbed some tickets. I booked 787 service out of Toronto, they substituted a 773, but what the hell. Plane looks great. Catering could be more interesting, but it isn't economy warm sandwich in a cardboard box. Definitely looking forward to the trip. And we've got a 4 hour layover to hang out in the Maple Leaf lounge! Great video.
I'd be interested to hear what you think about Dubai. I've only transited through the DXB airport. The city seems too artificial for my taste but I could be wrong. ✈️
David: if you are booked in AC international business class then you are also eligible to use their “Signature Suite” in Toronto: it’s a much better lounge similar to a 5-star a la carte restaurant, premium food and premium wine and drinks. It’s very exclusive and only available for paying AC business class customers.
Hey there. You caught Montreal on a good night, with another one of our stellar sunsets we are known for. We look West from Home so Sunsets are a nightly event !! On a really clear night, with winds blowing the right direction, we can hear aircraft take off from PET from our apartment down town. (We live in a high rise building) The sound travels well around and over the mountain to us. Yum a goodie basket with Chocolate in it. Breakfast looked tastier than dinner did !! YUMMY !! The Business Class Product looks nice and comfortable.
Yes. I'll have to come back to Montreal one day...and also fly Air Canada again 👍✈️

Great video. Yesterday (April 21/22) I took the same aircraft type on AC Toronto to Heathrow. The menu was identical. I too had the chicken, and agree that the taste was actually better than the appearance. The biggest let down was the crew who barely managed a B minus performance. I had not even stowed my carryon and the attendant was rushing to take my dinner order. Two of the four items were not available (yes, the cabin was full, but this seems to happen frequently). No introduction of the purser, no passenger name recognition, and completely unintelligible French on the passenger announcements. All of the Business Class crew seemed angry and annoyed to be staffing this flight.
That's a pity. They ran out of the other main courses on my flight but I wasn't surprised as I was the last to be served
But the crew on my flight were friendly enough. No complaints.
@@iFlyTheWorld As mentioned above, I take this flight next month. Noticing the menu items - 2 of them have mushrooms and I am highly allergic to mushrooms. Are there strategies to ensure one gets a seat in which they will not run out of something that my body can actually tolerate?

@@paulcoleman8574 AC takes meal orders strictly based on elite status priority. So they tend to serve their top tier 100K or 1 million miler customers first because these people typically spend $20-$100K per year with with AC. Which makes sense given that these guys are their most loyal/valuable clients.
@@kiddo817 so an elite on an upgrade ticket gets a meal priority over someone who say just bought a straight up biz class ticket?

I'm taking this flight on the 25th - however it's on a 787-9 instead of a 777.
How hot (as in spicy) was the chicken? It looks delicious. Not quite sure why they are serving a menu with 3 of the 4 dishes laced with hot peppers.
It wasn't hot at all. Just creamy hoummus.
@@iFlyTheWorld good to know. Seems to be a tahini sauce which I like. I'm guessing the harissa marinade here is of a mild variation. Will probably order this seeing as the pasta will be spicy.

Because I don't like the sound of my voice. Plus it can be really annoying having the video maker go on and on spoiling the video. The image and captions can speak for themselves.
Air Canada business class seats is not good as Air France and Cathay Pacific business class.
The breakfast sucks - everything is COLD n I loathe at the plastic bag clad croissant!! The main meal is just ok - don’t expect anything nice like lobster or cod etc. I wouldn’t waste money flying Business with AC. Always go for good Asian n M East airlines like Singapore n Etihad
AC does serve cod, it’s a pretty standard J class dish. Just wasn’t chosen on this flight. As for lobster… given how many people are allergic to shell seafood most airlines have removed them from catering, it’s a health hazard. I fly AC regularly for international flights and can attest that it’s one of the better J products compared to the likes of UA, Delta, AA.
I don’t think Singapore and Etihad are serving the routes between Canada and Europe.😜
