  • We have learned about God the Son and God the Father in the previous episodes. In this video, Pastor Ted Wilson talks about the third Person of the Trinity. He is invisible but existent-God the Holy Spirit.
Our fifth fundamental belief says: "God the eternal Spirit was active with the Father and the Son in Creation, incarnation, and redemption. He is as much a person as are the Father and the Son. He inspired the writers of Scripture. He filled Christ's life with power. He draws and convicts human beings; and those who respond He renews and transforms into the image of God. Sent by the Father and the Son to be always with His children, He extends spiritual gifts to the church, empowers it to bear witness to Christ, and in harmony with the Scriptures leads it into all truth."
The Holy Spirit convicts us of our sins, leads us to repentance, and transforms our lives to be like Jesus. He also helps us understand the truth God has revealed in the Bible.
“His work is to define and maintain the truth. He first dwells in the heart as the Spirit of truth, and thus He becomes the Comforter. There is comfort and peace in the truth, but no real peace or comfort can be found in falsehood…Through the Scriptures, the Holy Spirit speaks to the mind and impresses truth upon the heart. Thus He exposes error and expels it from the soul” (Ye Shall Receive Power, p. 13).
Moreover, the Holy Spirit “strives” as Genesis 6:3 says: "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever…" He also “teaches” as in Luke 12:12: "For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say." He convicts as John 16:8 notes: “And when He comes, He will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment.” Also, He inspires as 2 Peter 1:21 indicates: "For prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit." Lastly, He sanctifies as 1 Peter 1:2 states: "...the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ."
We see the Holy Spirit's activity and involvement in some remarkable events in the Bible.
For instance, He was active at Creation, "hovering over the face of the waters" (Gen. 1:1,2).
Jesus told Nicodemus in John 3:5, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God." He was referring to the necessity of baptism by water and the Holy Spirit.
During Jesus' incarnation, an angel told Mary, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One Who is to be born will be called the Son of God" (Luke 1:35).
Jesus acknowledged the anointing of the Holy Spirit. He said in Isaiah 61:1, "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound."
Also, before His crucifixion, Jesus assured His disciples: "These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you" (John 14:25, 26).
In Acts 10:38, Peter preached to the household of Cornelius, saying, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power…"
To conclude, we are to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit by surrendering ourselves to Him and allowing Him to transform our lives. He was sent to teach, guide, comfort, encourage, and transform us. However, the choice is ours to accept Him. But Jesus warned us about the consequences of resisting the Holy Spirit.
With this, let us heed the call given in Psalm 95 and repeated in Hebrews 4:7: "Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts."

“Christ has given His Spirit as a divine power to overcome all hereditary and cultivated tendencies to evil, and to impress His own character upon His church.” (DA 671.2)EGW
The Holy Spirit is Christ himself in spirit form not a third being that the Roman Catholic Church has made up. These jesuits have infiltrated all doctrines.

Who or What is the Holy Spirit?
To truly find out who or what the Holy Spirit is, we need to use the WHOLE council of God and not just a few verses like many people do. So what does the Bible say about the Holy Spirit? Let's start off with the Old Testament. But before we do, let me make an important point. Any major doctrine we teach MUST be supported by the Old Testament. We cannot teach a doctrine that is only based on a couple of verses in the New Testament. So let us look at a selection of Old Testament verses:
Genesis 1:2 ...'And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.'
Joel 2:28 ...'And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.'
Genesis 41:38 ...'And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?'
1 Samuel 10:10 ...'And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a company of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them.'
Psalm 51:11 ...'Cast me not away from Thy presence; and take not Thy Holy Spirit away from me.'
Isaiah 63:11-12 ...'Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put His Holy Spirit WITHIN him? That led them by the right hand of Moses with his glorious arm, dividing the water before them, to make himself an everlasting name?'
Now if you search right throughout the Old Testament, you will not find one reference to a third being of the Godhead. What you will find are lots of references to God the Father and Jesus Christ whom He was to send to save us. ALL the references to the Holy Spirit are revealed as the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit being God the Father's own Spirit, which He GAVE to His Son Jesus - Isaiah 42:1 being an example ... "Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.".
Now the New Testament and inspiration supports and clarifies what the Old Testament teaches even further and shows us clearly and specifically that the Holy Spirit is also the Spirit of Christ.
Romans 8:9 ...'But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.'
1 Peter 1:11 ...'Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was IN them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.'
Galatians 4:6 ...'And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.'
"The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God; it is also the Spirit of Christ. It is that divine, mysterious emanation through which they carry forward their great and infinite work." (Uriah Smith, GC Bulletin, March 18, 1891, pp. 146,147)
"Here we find that the Holy Spirit is both the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Christ." (E. J. Waggoner, Christ and His Righteousness, p. 23, 1890)
"We learn from this language that when we speak of the Spirit of God we are really speaking of his presence and power." (J. N. Loughborough, Review and Herald, September 20, 1898)
"The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ, which is sent to all men to give them sufficiency, that through His grace we might be complete in Him." (Ellen G. White, 14 Manuscript Releases, p. 84)
"While Jesus ministers in the sanctuary above, He is still by His Spirit the minister of the church on earth. He is withdrawn from the eye of sense, but His parting promise is fulfilled, 'Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.' Matt. 28:20. While He delegates His power to inferior ministers, His energizing presence is still with His church." (Ellen G. White, Desire of Ages, p. 166)
Notice what the apostle Paul says in 1 Corinthians 2:11 ...'For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is IN him? even so, the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.' ... So Paul is saying that JUST AS no man knows us apart from our OWN spirit INSIDE us, likewise no man knows God, but God's own Spirit which is ALSO in Him. Paul is saying it's the same concept. God's Holy Spirit is not another being, but God's own Spirit.
Matthew and Luke talk about a certain event. Look at what they both say ... Luke 12:11-12 ...'take you no thought how or what thing you shall answer, or what you shall say: For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what you ought to say.' Now we will read the same account recorded by Matthew, but notice the words he used to describe the Holy Spirit. Matthew 10:19-20 ...'take no thought how or what you shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what you shall speak. For it is not you that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.' So Luke says the Holy Spirit would teach us, but Matthew reveals that 'Spirit' to simply be the Spirit of God the Father.
Now take a look at Jesus' own words ... John 14:10 ...'Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.' You see? Jesus Christ and the Father. And it is THE FATHER that dwells in Jesus and in us. In other words, the Spirit of the Father that dwells in us.
Also, take a look at what Jesus said as He prayed to the Father ... John 17:21 ...'That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.' Where is this so called third person of the trinity? Jesus is clearly revealing the Godhead as the Father and Son, that's it! No third equal divine being, just the Father and Son. And they are one in spirit and mind, just like the believers are one in spirit and mind.
So it wasn't a 'third being' of the Godhead that dwelt in God's people. It was the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Christ, which is the same Spirit, as they share the same One Spirit. See the following verses which confirms this:
Ephesian 4:4 ...'There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling.'
1 Corinthians 12:13 ...'For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.'
Ephesian 2:18 ...'For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.'
"They have one God and one Saviour; and one Spirit--THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST--is to bring unity into their ranks." (E.G.White, Testimonies, Vol.9 p.189)

Its too sad that these leaders are willfully teaching the very doctrines of Catholicism ..and are leading us back to that tyranny..
      👇🏾👇🏾
"These men who have been trusted to keep the fort have well-nigh betrayed it into the hands of the enemy." (E.White, Testimonies for the Church, Vol.4, p.211)
They're no longer the voice of God but voicing for the very enemy of souls..
IS THE CONFERENCE THE VOICE OF GOD?
Some Adventists believe the conference will always be the voice of God. In the early years Mrs. White described the opinions handed down by the conference in session as "the voice of God." If we look at later statements by her, we will find she changed her opinion over time as the conference changed and became less obedient to God. If the conference was a faithful organization, making Bible-based decisions, not popularity-based decisions, not following the world, we would be able to consider it to be the voice of God:
1899 "Let those in America who suppose the voice of the General Conference to be the voice of God, become one with God before they utter their opinions." Testimony to Elder S.N. Haskell 11-16-99
1899 "It has been some years since I have considered the General Conference as the voice of God." GCD 2-24-99
1901 "That these men should stand in a sacred place to be the voice of God to the people as we once believed the General Conference to be, that is past." GC Bulletin 1901, 25
1901 "It is working upon wrong principles that has brought the cause of God into its present embarrassment. The people have lost confidence in those who have the management of the work. Yet we hear that the voice of the Conference is the Voice of God. Every time I have heard this, I have thought that it was almost blasphemy....We have reached the time when the work cannot advance while wrong principles are cherished." Man. 37, 1901
1901 "Year after year the same acknowledgment was made, but the principles which exalt a people were not woven into the work. God gave them clear light as to what they should do, but they departed from that light and it is a marvel to me that we stand in as much prosperity as we do today." GC Bulletin, 1901, 23
1909 "Every individual soul has a responsibility before God, and he is not to be arbitrarily instructed by men as to what he shall do, and what he shall say, and where he shall go. We are not to put confidence in the counsel of men and assent to all they say unless we have evidence that they are under the influence of the Spirit of God." RH 7-1-09
We know the conference has become more rebellious since Mrs. White's day, so we can be assured they still are not the voice of God today.
Just as Mrs. White said repeatedly, we are repeating the history of ancient Israel in our rebellion. Why would we think the conference has a license to commit this sin and ancient Israel did not?

I am sorry to say that your whole position on this issue is not inharmony with what the Bible teaches..it is your creed.
Is the Holy Spirit a Third CO-EQUAL Being?
The Trinity doctrine teaches that the Holy Spirit is a being that is CO-EQUAL with the Father and Son, and that means equal in EVERY SINGLE WAY. No exceptions!
So if the Holy Spirit is a separate being equal to the Father and the Son as the Trinity doctrine claims, then why are we “never” told the Holy Spirit loves us? And why does the Bible “never” teach we are to love, worship, or pray to the Holy Spirit?
Because it cannot be a third CO-EQUAL being with that being the case.
If the Holy Spirit was a CO-EQUAL being then it would have also seen the Father. “Not that ANYONE has seen the Father, EXCEPT He [Jesus] who is from God; He has seen the Father.” John 6:46. How can the Holy Spirit be a literal being and yet never have seen the Father?
Luke wrote that no one knows who the Father and Son are except each other. This makes it impossible for the Holy Spirit to be a literal being who would have to be able to reveal the Father and Son if it was. “All things have been committed to me by my Father. NO ONE KNOWS who the Son is except the Father, and NO ONE KNOWS who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.” Luke 10:22
If the Trinity doctrine was true, 1 John 1:3 would say, “truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit,” but it ONLY says the Father and Son. Why? Because the Holy Spirit is not a literal being but the Spirit of God. So our fellowship is only with the Father and Son. The same applies to 1 John 2:22-23. John says nothing about denying the Holy Spirit for the same reason.
Ellen White said, “The Father and the Son ALONE are to be exalted.” - (E.G. White, YI, July 7, 1898). She did not say “The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are to be exalted.” She specified ALONE.
The thrones of God and His Son are spoken of, but a throne for the Holy Spirit is “never” mentioned. If the Holy Spirit is equal to the Father and Son, why is a throne for the Holy Spirit “never” mentioned?
    Ask yourself these simple questions.
Why did the Father never speak to the Holy Spirit?
Why did Jesus never speak to the Holy Spirit?
Why did the Holy Spirit never speak to Jesus?
Why did the Holy Spirit never speak to the Father?
Yet the Father spoke to His Son over and over again all throughout the Bible, and Jesus spoke to His Father over and over again all throughout the Bible.
So how can the Holy Spirit be a CO-EQUAL being when it never speaks to the Father and Son?
The answer is simple. Because the “Spirit of God” is just that. It is NOT some third being called “god the holy spirit.” This phrase occurs nowhere in Scripture, but originated from the creators of the Trinity doctrine being the Roman Catholic Church more than 200 years AFTER the Bible was written.

Those who are daily seeking for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit will produce the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-26). They will testify to the work of the Holy Spirit. The way they treat others in their thoughts, words, and actions will uplift Christ.

THE SECOND COMMANDMENT, THE TRINITY AND THE OMNIPRESENCE OF GOD
I always wondered what was so significant about the second Commandment that Rome found it necessary to remove it altogether from the Ten Commandments. But it appears that there is a fundamental truth in that Commandment concerning where God's presence is that is intended to protect us from all forms of false worship.

The second Commandment tells us that we should not bow down before any image. This implies that God is not in any image. Which means that God is not everywhere. The Bible tells us that God is in heaven; and heaven is not everywhere. Heaven is above the earth and that is where we should direct our worship to God, where He is. He knows everything that happens everywhere and can go wherever He pleases but His abode is in heaven where Jesus, our High Priest and intercessor, is presenting our cases to Him. - "Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens" (Heb. 8:1).
Furthermore, both the prophets Daniel and John saw God in heaven with the angels gathered around His throne and Jesus being separate and distinct (Dan. 7 and Rev. 4, 5). Daniel said "the Ancient of days did sit" (Dan. 7:9) and "one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days" (Dan. 7:13). John said "one sat on the throne" (Rev. 4:2) who was worshipped as the Creator to whom it was said "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created" (Rev. 4:11), with Jesus appearing before Him to receive a book and power and authority, as the Lamb who was slain, while the angels sang, "Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever." (Rev. 5:13).
God is not everywhere all at once like a vapour while part of Him or an image sits on the throne representing Him. God Himself sits, of whom man was made in His image after His likeness, "made after the similitude of God" (James 3:9).
Logically, if God is everywhere, He can be worshipped wherever He is. One could then bow down and worship before a stone, a tree, a person or any object, not as worshipping the object but as worshipping God, since God is in it. That would open the door for the worship of false Gods as no one would be able to tell the difference whether you are worshipping the true God or not.

It would not be consistent to forbid worshipping before an object if God is in the object and one is worshipping, not the object, but God who is in the object. This is evident in the experience of the children of Israel in the wilderness. God appeared to them in a cloud and they were not forbidden to bow before Him in the cloud - "And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud" (Ex. 19:9), "And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door" (Ex. 33:10). If God is not in a particular place, say in an image, it means that there is at least one place where He is not. He cannot be everywhere and not everywhere at the same time.
The idea that the Holy Spirit is God present everywhere was precisely the argument that Dr. John Harvey Kellogg put forward to justify his pantheistic teachings. And Ellen White told him that he was wrong. Initially, he said that God was in everything. And when God instructed Ellen White to oppose it, he modified it by saying that at the time of his first presentation of the matter in the book "The Living Temple" he did not believe in the Trinity. Because of that, he said he had not given a clear explanation of the matter. He went on to explain that he had now come to believe in the Trinity and could better explain his idea. The new explanation was that it was not God the Father, but God the Holy Ghost who was everywhere and in everything. Ellen White told him that he was wrong. And we can see why. If God the Holy Spirit is everywhere and can be worshipped, it is a doorway to replace worshipping God and Christ in heaven entirely.

Another modified version of Kellogg's idea is that the Holy Spirit is really Christ himself or both God and Christ in an omnipresent form. This is also not correct as it places God and Christ on earth rather than in heaven.

The pioneers of Seventh-day Adventism stated in their Fundamental Principles of faith published in the 1889 Yearbook that God was everywhere present by His representative, the Holy Spirit. At face value, this would suggest that this representative is omnipresent. But it is perhaps more consistent with scripture to say that He is everywhere present by His representatives the holy spirits. Holy spirits are ministering spirits sent from heaven - "And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man." (John1:51). "Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?" (Heb. 1:14).

This is consistent with the Hebrew word ruach and the Greek word pneuma that are translated in the Bible as spirit. These words are also translated spirits, thus indicating that the Holy Spirit need not be seen as one individual being who is omnipresent but many spirit beings representing God everywhere.

From this perspective, there is no denying that the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, sent at Pentecost is a person - only not a God-being to be worshipped. Like the Angel of Revelation 18 who comes down from heaven with the latter rain - a similar occurrence as that which took place at Pentecost except more extensive - the Comforter would be seen as a messenger sent by Christ from heaven, as stated repeatedly in John 14-16. Ellen G. White describing the latter rain speaks of a mighty angel from heaven being sent to do this work and further said, "Angels were sent to aid the mighty angel from heaven" (Ellen. G. White, Story of Redemption, p. 399).
It should be noted that Jesus's warning against blaspheming against the Holy Spirit is not implying that the Holy Spirit is more to be revered than Jesus Himself. Jesus went back to heaven and promises to return to this earth to take us to His Father's house in heaven. He left the Holy Spirit to guide us until He returns. If we reject that guidance by blasheming against the the Holy Spirit, there will be nobody to guide us. The situation is similar to what God told the children of Israel in the wilderness - "Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him." (Ex. 23:20, 21). It is simply warning us not to reject the Holy Spirit's guidance. It is not forbidding us seeking to understand who the Holy Spirit is or what the Holy Spirit does.
So, there we have it. The church has now fully accepted Kellogg's idea. Ellen White said that the initial presentation by Kellogg was the alpha of deadly heresies. She said that the omega would follow shortly afterwards and would be accepted. And it did follow shortly afterwards in Kellogg's modified version, based on his acceptance of the Trinity. And the church has now fully accepted it - that God (the Holy Spirit) is everywhere and should be worshipped. So, based on current practice, Jesus is worshipped, the Holy Spirit is worshipped but the One true God is almost entirely ignored. Jesus, praying to His Father, made it clear who the "only true God" is and identified Himself as the one sent by God - "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." (John 17:3).
Nowhere in the Bible is worship given to anyone else except the one seated on the throne who is referred to as "LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come" (Rev.4:8) and to the Christ, the Lamb, as it will be in the new earth - "And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it." (Rev. 21:22). God is the Father of Christ. Accordingly, Christ, the Lamb is seen with "an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads" (Rev. 14:1). It is the name of the Lamb's Father that will be written in their foreheads.
Whatever one's concept of the Godhead, the term "godhead" is used only three times in the Bible (Acts 17:29, Rom. 1:20 and Col. 2:9) and in none of these places is the expression used to replace the idea of God being a single individual who has a Divine Son who is worshipped alongside Himself. And not even once does the term "godhead" in scripture allude to the worship of anyone else.
All worship should be directed to God and Christ in heaven. It is not about where we are when we worship but, like sending a petition to the king of England, we do not send it to Spain or Australia but to him in England where he is. Similarly, Jesus in teaching us how to pray directed that we say, "Our Father which art in heaven".

We should not be praying to nor worshipping anything on earth. We should pray to God in heaven, approaching His throne through Christ, our Mediator, and we should direct our worship to heaven where God is. This is the substance of the second Commandment that Rome has removed.

The Holy Spirit for those who want to see beyond.
Let's compare the physical network of the internet as a body and the transmitting antennas, as being the Spirit, and computers, as being people. When the network wants to transmit an ebook, or an image, a film, the antenna does not need to leave the body and go to the person's house. Thus, the Holy Spirit is part of God's body, when he wants to transmit something to people, or perform some physical phenomenon, he does not need to leave God's body, in the same way that the antenna transmits, the Holy Spirit also transmits waves energy that can accomplish everything he wants. The Holy Spirit can speak, intercede, and grieve, because the Holy Spirit is the spirit of God, who is holy and has all the senses that we have, as we are his image and likeness. Other times the Holy Spirit is mentioned figuratively, for example, being filled with the Holy Spirit. Of course, the Holy Spirit will not leave the body of God and enter us, it is the spiritual waves of the Holy Spirit that penetrates our body and we are "filled" with these vibrations and can produce the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit. We can symbolically say that we are full of the Holy Spirit, as we are, literally, full of the fluids that emanate from the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is part of a person who is God, the other part of God is the infinite universe. We can call the Holy Spirit God, but we must understand that the Holy Spirit is a part of God, the spiritual, energetic part, the spiritual "brain" that directs everything and that emanates its radiation to the entire universe and through this radiation, everything happens by your will.
How can I prove this in the Bible? We are the image and likeness of God, we have a body and a spirit that gives life to that body. Thus, our spirit is the image of the Holy Spirit and our body is the image of the body of God. Our body is made up of atoms, which is a miniature of a solar system. The body of God is formed by solar systems that make up the infinite universe. If we magnified our body trillions and trillions of times, we would see the universe, each atom would be the image of a solar system. If we reduced the universe trillions and trillions of times, we would see God, but that would not be possible, because the universe is infinite. When God reports that he sends his Holy Spirit, do not take it literally, as the Holy Spirit remains in the body of God, only energetic vibrations of this spirit reach people and as they are emanated by the Spirit of God, we can symbolically say that it is the Spirit Holy.

You can claim the promise that “…All who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons” and daughters “of God.” (Romans 8:14, NASB). What great news for us! The Spirit’s work is for you to behold His life, His goodness, and see your hopeless state. This is for the purpose that you may be led to repentance (Romans 2:4). It is the conviction of sin, and Christ‘s righteousness, that leads you to salvation. And it is through the salvation experience that you will begin to grow through the Spirit.

Why do you not want to cling to the biblical language that was given to us when the Bible says the Spirit of God, then it refers to His Spirit, not God the Spirit, if we apply this thinking to every thing that is possessive of God such as verses in which it says the hand of God, then should we call His hand, God the hand?
Here are a few more Scriptures all pointing in the same direction that the Father and Son alone are to be exalted.
How many Divine Beings are praised by the whole creation? Two. (Rev 5:13)
How many Divine Beings were involved in the counsel of peace? Two. (Zech 13:7)
How many Divine Beings are involved in the judgment? Two. (Dan 7:13)
How many Divine Beings are involved in the everlasting gospel? Two. (John 3:16-18)
How many Divine Beings will the believers have fellowship with? Two. (1 John 1:3)
How many Divine Beings will the unsaved hide away from? Two. (Rev 6:16)
How many Divine Beings give us grace and peace? Two. (Rom 1:7)
    This is only a partial list. See also (1John 2:22, 1Tim 1:1, 1Tim 5:21, John 10:30)
