Pro-tip: you can also load it by hand, same goes for the smaller truck. You get out, pick up an ore rock, then walk up close to the bed, and drop it. the loading mechanism/sound is the same. This is sometimes a smidge faster than moving the entire rig to reposition it perfectly.
That rock crusher is an absolute game changer!!! Oh my word, you're going to have everything you need in no time to get everything up and running! I'm so excited to see what's next. Great video!!!
The rock crush and rover are both amazing... So glad I don't need to hand drill anymore 😁
Use the lvl 2 or 3 detector to scan the rocks first, so you can concentrate your efforts. Every rock gives a mix of resources, with the largest component being whatever the scan says. The limit when building stuff always ends up being silicon. it is used for electronics and cables and so much else. Concentrate on finding silicon rocks, and you will get vastly more aluminum than you will ever use, and maybe have to get some iron occasionally.
The more you drill a rock the less resources you will get from that rock. Drill a rock just a little and then type and pick it up to get the most resources from it.
Oh good tip! It makes total sense, I'm so used to drilling them into nothingness with the hand drill haha
If ur stuck somewhere while driving vechicles, press the R key it will get u out from that place
Ok, question, how do you pick items up with out it going into your hand first, then having to click again to put it in inventory? Is it a quick click or a setting? Make sure when you set up your greenhouse you hook it up to it's own O2 and H2O supply. I read that somewhere.. ANd Power as well..
If you hold "ctrl" when you pick up items they just go right into your inventory.
You can double click something in quick succession and it picks up instantly.
